  • What I was looking for

I just wish there were a few more options and features

  • Can’t you make this app user friendly?
by Pacific Insomniac on June 13, 2021 at 3:43 pm

I’m looking for a way to track my daily food intake (calories, carbs, protein, fat, iron, etc). I just downloaded this app and noticed it is not user friendly at all. So far, I can’t find any of the items I ate for breakfast to log. And when I try to add new items, it makes me insert all of the details. What the heck? I want to know the calories, carbs, fat, protein and iron for each item I eat. Your app doesn’t include all my required needs. What’s the point of using an app if it doesn’t include all of the basic info and, instead, requires me to insert all nutrient details? And why the heck is it asking me to draw a picture of my food? I thought this was a food diary app - NOT an arts & crafts app. I may switch to My Fitness Pal or carry a little pad to track food details.

  • Not user friendly

    1. No search function (really???) 2. Obscure items are included and common items are excluded forcing manual creation which would be fine IF: Details were not required AND (Again- SERIOUSLY???) you have to DRAW an icon to save a new food! All I wanted was a simple food diary to list what I’ve had to eat and drink in a day. This is not it. Delete.

  • Simple and clever

I really like this app. It’s easy to enter foods, keep track visually of variety in the diet, and exit without any distractions or ads. I just wish there was a way to delete or edit food items that I have created, say, if I mess up on the drawing or spelling.

  • Almost perfect

I would pay money for this app if I could delete or edit custom entries.

  • Add more Food items!

Too little choices for food options. I really like the set up and how cute and colorful the app is but what’s the point if a lot of the items you’re eating isn’t in the inventory. Please update. Also, what’s up with having to draw your new food item? Ridiculous.

  • Great app!! Love the food colors!
by BenGenGal on June 29, 2018 at 12:15 am

I had no idea that my diet was so unbalanced until I downloaded this app. Today, for instance, I logged nothing but brown foods. Looking back, I realized I ate nothing but starches! That’s not so bad except I didn’t eat any foods of any other color. So I went ahead and bought some green leafy vegetables and some red oxidant-rich berries so that tomorrow I’ll be getting the Vitamin B12 and Vitamin K that I obviously missed out on today. A good diet is a well-balanced diet, and this app has certainly helped me to eat better. It’s also fun, and easy to use. The only drawbacks were one or two misspelled words (like “completed”) ... that’s really no big deal though. Maybe they could make it so that you can delete some of the custom-added foods in case you make a mistake in creating one. Other than those minor things, it’s a terrific app!
