Contraction Timer & Counter 9m

Contraction Timer & Counter 9m

*** Most downloaded Contraction Timer app in the world! Number 1 in the UK, Australia, Canada, Italy and elsewhere! ***

This is the simplest-to-use contraction timer. The app will help to track your contractions and determine when it's time to go to the hospital.
If you plan on having a home birth, the app will tell you what stage of labor you are in at any given moment.

Keep track of your labor by tapping a single button at the start and at the end of each contraction. The Contraction Timer analyzes the duration and frequency of contractions and will notify you when it's time to go to the hospital.

Thousands of pregnant women around the world have become mothers using our app.

Always consult your doctor to orient yourself in terms of contraction frequency and duration.
This app is not a medical device and our recomendations are based on standard indicators. Your labor may occur differently. Therefore, do not rely exclusively on our app.
If the duration and frequency of contractions do not yet correspond to the necessary indicators but labor pains become unbearable, it is better to go to the hospital as soon as possible rather than give birth at home or on the way there. Trust what your body is telling you.

It made it easy to tell I was in labor.

  • So helpful during labor!
    by <3Sakura<3 on 2021-04-07 at 9:28 PM

This was my first pregnancy and I didn’t know a dang thing. So, to have an app like this that timed the contractions for me and let me know when it was time to go to the hospital... was very useful. This app definitely helped make my first childbirth experience a little easier!

  • Ok
by holyhellallnicknamesaretaken! on 2021-04-05 at 4:59 AM

Well it definitely helped me time the contractions - and my contractions were spaced consistently at about 5 minutes - app told me to go to hospital (did it twice because it only timed it for about half an hour each time). Called my dr, said sounded like could be today. But told me to see how I feel I’m about an hour. well 13 hours later I’m still at home and no more contractions or baby... (4 days past my due date)

  • Works great!
    by 3and-done on 2021-04-03 at 3:55 AM

I didn’t get to use it much... baby came quick and in a hurry. It was super simple to use and my honey had to time some of the contractions.

  • So helpful
    by AVICK23 on 2021-03-31 at 8:02 AM

Amazing app! It helped me track my contractions and also know when it was time to go to the hospital. Me and my baby girl are home, so thankful for this app, made our life easier and less stressful.

  • Horrible Ads
    by mama_lyn on 2021-03-29 at 12:25 PM

The ad that pops up while I’m anticipating giving birth and counting contractions is an “injured baby” ad with a picture of an intubated baby. Seriously?!? They must really want you to spend that $3 to get rid of ads. Def would NOT recommend.

  • Unskippable Ads? Really?
    by Du5tyRu5ty on 2021-03-29 at 4:12 AM

You start having contractions, you think this might be it, you reach for your contraction app to track the latest contraction and bam! 15 second ad. You miss this contraction, you power on and record the next contraction, your third contraction, go to record your fourth but no, another 15 second ad. This is what your experience will be like using this garbage app. Go elsewhere.

  • Kept asking me to rate the app in the middle of contractions
by thisratingsystemsucks on 2021-03-19 at 4:24 PM

Hey Folks, last thing I want to do while my partner is struggling with contractions is to rate your app more than once. Having to close out of that window while trying to time is not helpful. Please fix this.

  • Easy

    Easy to use. Fine functionality.

    Muy buena aplicación.

  • I almost gave birth in the car.
by Mikidude on 2021-03-13 at 8:50 PM

I used this app to count my contractions while I was in labor. The issue I have with it is the interactive ads that you HAVE to play in order to skip them before continuing counting contractions. I was 8cm dilated without knowing while my husband had to help a fish swim through obstacles to get back to the app. In results, this gave us inaccurate readings for my contractions and by the time I got to the hospital I was pushing and had my child shortly after. I don’t mind ads...but the fact that it’s interactive and you can’t override it, caused me to almost give birth in my car. For that reason, I give the app 2 stars.

  • Great app!
by AmyLynnEst on 2021-03-12 at 5:41 PM

Highly recommend. It even tells you when it’s time to go to the hospital. I ignored it a few times when it told me and barely got to the hospital on time. Haha

  • Great!
by La Norteñita on 2021-03-04 at 5:21 AM

User friendly, easy to set just in time before my labor! Definitely recommend!!

  • Highly recommend
    by tayher1417 on 2021-02-28 at 9:56 AM

Helped out a lot app recommended I went to the hospital and thank god I did cause when I arrived I was 5cm and in perfect time to get epidural!!

  • Really helpful
by Vvvvvuy on 2021-02-21 at 9:23 PM

This app was super helpful and easy to use. It helped me know when contractions were merely “practice” or real and urged me to go to the hospital at the right time. Because I followed what it said I reached the hospital and was at 5cm!! Thanks a lot for making such a useful app for Mom’s who are planning on a vaginal delivery.

  • Ads are brutal
    by 120Dorf on 2021-02-07 at 8:05 PM

The design and functionality of this app are great but the HomeScapes ad that comes up takes over the whole screen and you can’t easily close it. (The x is too small and doesn’t work.) Absolutely infuriating when you’re in labor and trying to time your contractions! Deleting app and using a different one.

  • Has been two hours
by Mywifeleftme on 2021-02-07 at 9:06 AM

Still not sure if I should go to hospital does the app say GO or does it keep telling me to get ready 🤪

  • Great App
    by _143_mina on 2021-02-07 at 2:18 AM

I started tracking my contractions around 11:30am and called my doctor after one hour when the app notified me to go to the hospital. Based on my contractions, my doctor agreed and I was there in the next hour. I was in active labor and ended up having my baby boy 3 hours later. A very fast delivery. I highly recommend this app.

  • Great app and easy usability
by LisaViolinka on 2021-02-04 at 10:50 AM

Really liked the app, plus the ads were displayed during the rest period. Highly recommend

  • Great app for contractions
by amiils on 2021-02-01 at 3:50 PM

Good experience using it help me a lot tracking mines and help me to keep my record when they asked for it I will recommend

  • Perfectly simple.
by Jordan Urrutia on 2021-01-31 at 9:31 AM

As simple as you’d like and expect it to be.

  • Ads
by IrenaStone on 2021-01-21 at 9:18 PM

Look, it’s a nice app, easy to use for a simple goal, count your contractions, help predict labor and when to head to the hospital. Though after one use, I’m going back to another app. Why? Well, mid contraction, app is counting, then, an ad popped up, and promptly froze. I’m like, uh, let’s picture this when I’m actually near labor and screaming: oh, this contraction is 32 sec and counting, but wait! Got a 30 sec ad, let me scream for 30 sec and see what happens, oh darn, it froze, got reload as I check if my water is broken and what not. Yeah, old app it is.

  • Had our baby using this app
by JakeNSasha on 2020-12-31 at 1:42 AM

Really helpful information along the way. Considerably accurate as well. Although it is situational to each pregnancy. Ours went perfect right along with the feedback from the app. Amazing job. Got to the hospital right on at 7cm active labor. Baby was there 4 hours later. God bless and good luck !

  • There are better free ones out there
    by AbbyRose1 on 2020-12-24 at 6:24 PM

For an app that will only get a little use, I did not purchase the extra features. Using the free version you are unable to edit past contractions so if you make a mistake there’s NO changing it. Then after entering a few contractions I started getting pop up ads. I will switch back to the contraction app I used on my first pregnancy which it’s interface isn’t as pretty but it does a better job

  • Ads that you can’t exit out of fast enough
by Great Harvey Elmer on 2020-12-19 at 12:52 AM

This is a nice simple timer. I deleted and downloaded a new one because I was getting upset at the ads that would randomly pop up and you couldn’t exit out of fast enough because it had to play so many seconds before you could exit.

  • Great !
by Aiyshanah on 2020-12-16 at 1:19 AM

I use this app for every pregnancy!

  • Awesome!!!

  • App was really helpful
    by nikhil.k1990 on 2020-12-07 at 5:04 AM

This app works like a charm and it’s pretty easy to use. Thank you developer team for keeping it free

  • Forces you to pay if you want to edit anything
    by Lea784 on 2020-12-01 at 4:52 AM

    Stupid

  • It works
by brookehbg on 2020-11-30 at 11:14 AM

This app works for timing contractions. But the most frustrating thing I can possibly think of to deal with while I’m in labor? Ads on a contraction app after every 4th contraction. I know you can buy the full version, but really? My body is working on getting a whole human out... so no I don’t want to download Homescapes.

  • Ads
by limryan on 2020-11-28 at 2:36 AM

The ads are obnoxious especially when timing contractions and when I’m already uncomfortable and in pain.

  • Thank you
by typical premium on 2020-11-13 at 9:55 AM

I am so thankful for the app

  • TERRIBLE ADS
by nahxgnedj on 2020-11-11 at 2:41 AM

Adds coming through all constantly hard to time contractions with ads popping up

  • Calculates amazing
    by anamaria392927616171 on 2020-11-10 at 11:45 AM

    Love it!

  • I like this app but..
by Someonesknedghddg on 2020-11-07 at 11:02 PM

I like this app because it’s just start stop. It keeps track of the time, duration and intensity (if you turn it on in the settings). My only complaint is the ads. There aren’t many but who wants to deal with that mid labor pains. There aren’t many though. I’ll give them that.

  • Good app
    by nicole K S on 2020-11-06 at 1:45 AM

Downloaded the free version. Used it to time my contractions. The app would start to make suggestions based on the length & time between contractions. Perfect for what it’s intended for.

  • Have to pay to edit contractions
by stevenOfApple on 2020-11-05 at 4:37 AM

There are apps out there that do that for free. Deal breaker.

  • Got me there!!!
    by KatyCross15 on 2020-10-30 at 4:33 PM

I wasn’t sure if I was having braxtons so I started using this once it said to start getting ready and go to the hospital good thing I listened! Had baby 2 hours later

  • Just in time
    by V.O.T. on 2020-10-22 at 5:45 AM

Just what you need when it’s time to start tracking your contractions. Simple, yet very useful. I should’ve listened to it when it told me to get ready to go to the hospital the first time...

  • YASSSS!!!!
by Mermerhaws on 2020-10-18 at 2:41 AM

I’m so glad I downloaded this. It told me to go into labor and delivery after tracking my contractions. I ended up having my baby girl 🥰

  • Bad time for ads
    by p9k8u&jh on 2020-10-16 at 12:53 AM

So frustrating when I’m trying to time a contraction and the ad won’t go away!!!

  • Switched to poker after 5 contractions?
by pieter from vashon on 2020-10-15 at 4:57 AM

    Pick a different app

  • Disruptive ads
by PandoraTomorrow on 2020-10-14 at 11:51 AM

The app was interrupted by a full-page ad for a solitaire game which would not go away. I had to install another app, which means I had to start the whole count over after only about an hour.

  • No watch app
    by Dj0soul0ja on 2020-09-28 at 4:03 AM

Would be five stars if there was a watch widget.

  • Decent app but bad timing
    by Mermaidz4lyfe on 2020-09-24 at 4:06 PM

It really is frustrating that this app is offered free and then in the heat of the moment tries to sucker you for the paid version. Need to see if you should go to the hospital? Watch this 30 second ad first. Accidental misclick? That’ll cost full price to edit your contractions. It just feels slimy and manipulative.

  • Can’t do much without the paid version
by nikiferrara on 2020-09-23 at 6:51 AM

Not worth it when there are others out there that offer more functions and are free.

  • Ads
    by Ramírez👏 on 2020-09-21 at 2:54 AM

Using this app only to increasingly have ads pop up when I want to begin to time another contraction. Very frustrating and distracting 😒 won’t be using again

  • Love it!
by AliciaSoto on 2020-09-16 at 11:56 AM

    Super helpful

  • Great app, poorly timed ad
    by KassC06 on 2020-09-15 at 6:14 PM

App is very user friendly and easy to manage. However, ads to rate or upgrade the app popped up multiple times when I was in active labor. Obviously this was not the best time for me to complete either of those tasks.
