    This app is junk. I always have to call customer service for me to login into my account. Everytime i log in it always say that my login is blocked. It’s so annoying!!!

    Updates broke the app, used to be able to use face ID and made things work but now it doesnt use face ID and the latest update has an error saying am locked out of my account. Fix the app please

    Never gives you the accurate information. Charges $32 “holding fee” when showing you have sufficient funds. All the other banks have up to date ACCURATE information for their paying customers!

    Lost ability for Face ID after the last update. This app is so antiquated and clunky. It looks like it was created by a high schooler in his freshman programming class for a midterm project and got a “B.”

    The list is longer for what this app is missing. Transfer comments that show in account, bill pay add, edit, delete payees, mobile deposit confirmation, user interface upgrade, pending transaction information "currently shows pending and $ amount no other information. This app needs a complete overhaul. Good for simple things like checking balance, mobile deposit, transfers. Another horrible feature is usually after 10 PM your account balance rolls back to the start of day taking away your transfers and deposits until processing is over usually around 5am the next day. That’s when you are able to see you true balance. I love this bank but there core system needs to be upgraded or changed. CPB you should consider FIS teller insight. It’s an amazing platform.

    Would give it 0 stars if I could. I have trouble logging in all the time. Waste of time just go to first Hawaiian bank or bank of Hawaii. They’re both so much better than CPB.

    This is the most frustrating mobile banking service I have ever experienced! It’s so hard to open the app. I already put my password and it kept saying its not the password and have to call the hotline! The hotline BTW is not available 24/7... so stressful!! Zero stars!

    Why do all other banks make sure their app is easy to use? Because they care about their customers. Doesn’t seem this way with CPB. This app has been malfunctioning since the beginning but no one cares to redo the whole thing. Poor customer service.

    In trying to contact the creator the are at least 2 areas that lead to a “page not found” looks like they forgot to update the app when they updated the website. Ouch. When you deposit a check there is no friendly reminder to sign the back and add mobile deposit. If you forget the mobile deposit you’ll be contacted to please remember next time. It would be nice if there’s a reminder like other banks have. Also a reminder of the deposit amount limit before, instead of after would be nice. I was over drawn and tried to deposit a check for 5K it wouldn’t let me because “it would exceed the daily limit of $5001.” Huh? Ok, so there’s a fee. I’ll try writing a check now for 4K. Got same message. Makes no sense. Why can’t is say I’m sorry you are overdrawn and have to make a deposit at a branch? Better yet why not let me make a deposit so I can clear this up right away? A reflection of them? 🤔

    Depending on the time of day, the mobile website AND app will give you inaccurate information such as "available balance". Then they charge you a $32 fee for "insufficient funds" transactions when "available funds" more than covers the total amount, however, there's HIDDEN amounts which you don't see. Called customer service and asked why it says "AVAILABLE balance" but the funds isn't available. They said I need to "rely on balancing my checkbook. 1) I carry a debit ycard. Not a debit card and a checkbook. 2) What I rely on is my bank providing me accurate information about my account and not blaming me for their inaccuracies. and 3) I check my account EVERY SINGLE TIME before making a purchase. Seriously. How hard is it to provide customers with the correct information?! If your website is unavailable for maintenance or updates, shut it down during that time. Don't say I have this available balance then tell me something different a few minutes later then charge me a fee and say it's my fault.

    I use my phone for many things, including my banking, until now. On at least 2 separate occasions, I have made transfers using this app and I receive the “transfer successful” message and it reflects on the account, but later came to find out that it did not transfer at all. And on the most recent issue I had scheduled payments right after I transferred the money to be taken out by ACH and instead was almost charged NSF fees 3 times for them because it hadn’t transferred. There is only that stupid “ transfer successful “ message that pops up after for confirmation. There should be a text that gets sent to your mobile that confirms the transfer along with a reference number and details, and a page on the app with the same info we can screenshoot for our records. Also, would be a good idea to have a page that we can access that shows pending transfers like it does online. Until then, this is nothing more that something to look at your balance in my opinion. Wouldn’t trust the numbers even then, at least until this can be updated with those safety features I mentioned.

    Congratulations! 100% failure rate at logging in. Pat yourselves on the back CPB for having the worst app ever designed for banking. Mobile banking is supposed to save time! But not this app. It just makes me want to delete you. Oh guess what I did!

    I’ve been using the app for years. I mostly use it to check my account transactions but have also used the check deposit feature dozens of times. It’s very handy and saves a trip to the bank. Recently there was an update that disabled finger print ID. Having not used my password in years, of course I’d forgotten it. CPB customer service got me back in and told me to delete and reinstall the app to get fingerprint ID to work again. It didn’t work. It wasn’t until I went into Settings and found a switch to enable fingerprint ID that it worked again. I had to quit the app and log in again, but then it asked for my print. Works perfectly now. Thanks CPB for making banking easy.

    Every time you update this app the face recognition on your iPhone will be disconnected and you’ll get locked out from accessing your app. You can only reset it by calling them. ...and then only between the hours of 8:00am and 8:05 am.. other than that you’ll get a message to call them back during normal business hours. Have dealt with this for years and unfortunately my business won’t let me to switch to another bank. This bank’s IT department is an embarrassment to the business community!!! 👎👎👎👎👎

    The whole reason to have this app is mobile deposit. But it keeps telling me to rotate the check and try again. This has been going on for months. A fix would be really nice.

    Password does not work in app but it does work on computer. Don’t reset your password just because it keeps telling you that it’s invalid.

    Pretty good app actually. I agree with the other user in that it is not clear that you have to setup another password once you are in your online banking account for “mobile banking”. However, once we figured this out we found this app to be quite useful, especially the mobile deposit option. I am lazy to go to the bank.

    The app worked fine once I found out that the "Password" the mobile app asks for is NOT the same as the password needed for Online Banking (the website). Typically it's a 4-digit number, and it's sometimes (confusingly) referred to as a PIN, sometimes as a Password. I'm deducting a star because I feel this wasn't made at all clear, and I experienced so much time and frustration being repeatedly locked out of the app for using a password which I knew worked perfectly well at the website. So, more clarity please. Even now it's unclear to me whether your mobile "password" can be set to anything other than a 4-digit number; tech support thought it could be up to 15 characters, but so far I've only gotten 4-digit numbers to work.

    #1...Touch ID stopped working after the last update. Tried everything suggested by the online banking dept, to no avail. They will be forwarding the problem to their IT dept. #2...I wish the app allowed the option to search transactions beyond 30 days. The rest of the app works to my satisfaction.

    First time users! 1) Log into the website 2) Click on Mobile Banking tab 3) Read and Accept policy 4) Add desired Username, Password, and Mobile number you are going to use 5) Receive text message and reply with YES 6) You're all done and you can now log in. Hope this help. I had to call and someone explained on what to do.

    I tried logging into the app and it says my login information is incorrect. However, why is it that I put the exact same login information on my computer and it goes through there?! It's just totally inaccessible to begin with. And don't take my word for it, many other people are struggling to login as well. Just look at the reviews.

    Why bother making an app when you can't even log in. I enter my user id and password, press submit, poof, erases my login. Repeat. Error "can't find login". I have to go into the actual website to login. Don't waste your time with this app. It doesn't work.
