  • Things that make you go hmmm
by BluesBoy on June 19, 2022 at 10:25 pm

I really enjoy Daily Art because it takes me places around the world and through history to explore art I might never see on my own. My eyes have been opened to new mediums as well. It is a positive way to start my day.

  • You have to pay
    by Dragoni8 on June 19, 2022 at 8:09 pm

The apo wont let you even star using it to see if you like it, you need to move to Pro right away or maybe share with friend. But I am not sharing if I dont know the apo

  • I love this App!
    by Elrod_V on June 9, 2022 at 2:06 pm

I enjoy learning about art. I only wish I could view more art without it being $5.99. Tons of languages to choose from. Great for art students. Tons of art to look at and all sorts of artists. This app is not homophobic or transphobic either. Super happy with this app!

  • where oh where is that diversity? not in dailyart!
by terrible this game is- yoda on June 6, 2022 at 5:48 pm

dailyart only posts works by european artists and ocaisionally japanese styles. more diversity please!

  • Begins my day
by itsizzi on June 4, 2022 at 12:44 pm

I start everyday with a cup of tea and look to see what artist is featured. I spend some time simply enjoying the works and reading about the artist. It always brightens the morning before I head out.

  • Amazing Daily dose of Art
    by C-Note999 on May 31, 2022 at 5:14 pm

This is really well curated, touching on not only the known greats but what I really love about it is how many artists and styles of art that I wasn’t aware about before but I know about now because of DailyArt!! A great short article accompanying each work with links if one wants to do a deeper dive, it’s a wonderful part of my day and some thing I look forward to each and every day!

  • Love the app, would like even more info about techniques
by AjArooz on May 27, 2022 at 1:43 pm

I love the app and have had it integrated into my morning routine for many months now. I joined less out of a motivation to hone my understanding of art history and more to discover painting techniques. Although the app doesn’t focus on the techniques behind the pieces, it’s introduced me to many new “masterpieces” that I can then go look up granular painting details about elsewhere. It’s also great if you’re wanting to know more the historical context behind these great works of art.

  • “Pretty” art
by mooglitz on May 27, 2022 at 12:56 pm

As an artist and art teacher I really wanted to love this app. It’s well designed, simple, informative… but I would describe the art as too pretty- flowers, impressionists, pastels, aesthetically pleasing Japanese prints….yes, there was a Kathe Kollwitz recently, but that was even a pretty piece of hers. I bought premium but I’m finding myself annoyed that there aren’t more interesting artworks.

  • Start Your Day With Beauty
by Murraka on May 25, 2022 at 10:02 am

I start every day with DailyArt. I found this app when I was seeking to follow the advice of Rumi: Today, like every other day, we wake up empty and frightened. Don’t open the door to the study and begin reading. Take down a musical instrument. Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are a hundred ways to kneel and kiss the ground. — Rumi

  • Simply wonderful
by Gorbulas Grubb on May 24, 2022 at 12:02 am

If you have an iPad, this is simply one of the most lovely apps for it. Add a widget of it to your home screen. Tap on the artwork to view it fullscreen. 10/10. Everyone should have this.

  • This app is hard not to love
    by KWH23 on May 18, 2022 at 10:52 am

Every AM, whenever I awake, there is a small number of apps that bring me peace and help to center me for the day. This is my first AM app.

  • Review great app ever and originator is beautiful.. what can you want
by HTHstar on May 15, 2022 at 8:55 pm

I have used this App. for many years and I’m sold on it completely. Commentary is succinct and helpful. Wide range of artists to view and because of that, it opens one’s eyes to new art styles and presentation. Can’t say enough good about the authors.

  • Inspiration
by bettyjr on May 14, 2022 at 3:02 pm

I am currently taking drawing and watercolor painting classes. Seeing masterpieces helps to inspire me. I look at the shapes and the light, the color and perspective. Mostly I appreciate art for arts sake without being able to travel to see these works in their respective museums. Without commodification, just admiring the beauty of creative expression......

  • Not Appropriate for Children
by ShaiNoel on May 13, 2022 at 1:05 pm

I got this app for my 9 year old to learn about art history, artists, and famous paintings. At first, the app was greatly geared towards art education, etc. The age says for 12+, but I wouldn’t want my 12 year old exposed to nude art. I’m disappointed that these types of paintings are included without an adult rating on the App Store. Take them out or change the age rating for the app.

  • Priceless
by classicalhappy on May 12, 2022 at 9:42 pm

    Everyone needs a daily dose.

  • Exactly what I was searching for.
by ritamayfly on May 11, 2022 at 12:32 am

A great way to learn about art and artists. I highly recommend subscribing to the newsletter also.

  • Daily Art
by MaryFCS on May 7, 2022 at 1:19 am

Excellent site that focuses on one work of art per day. Easy to navigate and just enough information with links if you want to expand. The Daily Art Magazine is also excellent with a diverse selection . It is an international publication/site so features a wide variety.

  • Brings value to each day
by Donna Stott on May 5, 2022 at 11:59 pm

I was a high school and college drop out. I sent my 5 kids to collage though! So proud of that. This app makes me feel like I have a grasp on art. Just as if I took Art in collage! I go to museums and know the art! It’s amazing. Thank you Daily Art. I get such joy in my 1-2 minutes a day I spend with you. You changed my life. I am ever grateful!

    by ceg132 on April 30, 2022 at 11:36 pm

Receiving a new work of art daily is such a gift! I love the clear conversational explanations too. Thank you for providing new views and new ideas every day.

  • Amazing!
    by Andymoon91 on April 30, 2022 at 5:05 pm

If you love art, then you’ll love this app. Having the chance to deepen your art knowledge a little more everyday is amazing and having the widget on your phone so that you can see it from your home screen is very very cool. And the best part: it’s completely free!

  • Pretty picture but just another gimmick!
by MT Vacancy on April 12, 2022 at 8:48 pm

This might be a satisfying diversion if your idea of art appreciation is limited to Western Art, focused on a single picture and a 1-minute read. Like far too many apps, this is another disappointing come-on, interrupting the embedded flow to sell you the upgrade. Possible value here is diluted by the constant pop-ups, advertising the very thing this app already promised to deliver. These apps should really be labeled and considered as commercials, gimmicky sales vehicles or infomercials.

  • Art for Everyone
by Johnstip on April 1, 2022 at 9:29 pm

I love this app, it has art for everyone. I look at the art daily for respite or inspiration. I have learned so much by reading the linked articles and I appreciate the art and the knowledge. Keep up the strong work, seeing this great art makes my day better.

  • Awesome!
by Jsksoxixjx on March 23, 2022 at 4:07 pm

    Love this app

  • Great Variety, good input for this artist.
by joiemcclements on March 20, 2022 at 7:08 pm

I’m a professional artist. I look in every morning to see the art on this site. I treasure the daily input, the variety of styles, use of the elements. The art is interesting and varied, and the writing often has information I find interesting, even though I’ve studied art history.

  • Useless
    by Somm_Harry on March 3, 2022 at 7:13 am

They only focus on selling their stupid Calendar stuff and never stop sharing radical feminist issue. You guys are ruining true meaning of the art

  • I truly love this app
    by TimC19 on March 2, 2022 at 11:21 am

I look forward to it each morning.

  • Politicized a Good Thing, Goodbye
    by the_obscure on February 27, 2022 at 3:16 am

I’ve been using this app daily at the moment I get off work. What a joy it has been for mw. But now this app thought it appropriate to educate me on its political stance on the current conflict in Ukraine. Only colonizers would think it’s natural to do such a thing and that all its users share its sentiment and would dutifully accept their delusion that such a statement belongs in this app. How disgraceful. Whoever decided that should feel ashamed. Unfortunately the writing is on the wall, this app will self destruct into an echo chamber of monolithic thinking. Goodbye.

  • Outstanding education
by Mac user over 20 years on February 26, 2022 at 7:43 pm

I have limited art education, and this app has been a wonderful way to gain a better appreciation of great art. I love the small daily offerings—just enough to pique my curiosity. After over a year of the free version, I paid for premium. Why? I noticed the brief notes of support for Ukraine placed at the end of the last few painting descriptions, and wanted to support the creators, translators, and proofreaders who make this app possible.

  • A valuable addition to my iPhone!
    by TDiz1 on February 25, 2022 at 10:11 pm

I am a designer and photographer. I studied painting as a young man. This application is a true delight while using my iPhone 13 Pro. It turns the phone into a rotating gallery of fine art. Every day I can switch my lock screen and home screen to a new piece of art. It’s as if I’m getting a new phone every day. Plus I get to enjoy the beauty of so much wonderful art. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is appreciator of art. It elevates the aesthetics of your device in a very special way.

  • Love this app but it’s not working now
    by bkp1019 on February 24, 2022 at 9:08 pm

I love this app and have been using it for years. I believe there was an update in the last few days and the app hasn’t been working since. Hoping y’all can get to the bottom of this cuz I love my daily art and hate that I paid for something that isn’t working.

  • Extraordinary Art - Minimalist $
by NEPA Zip on February 23, 2022 at 3:26 pm

This app brings me great joy every day. The reproductions are spectacular, as is the commentary and links within to artist bios and context. Brilliant!

  • Pet peeve
    by Moso919 on February 18, 2022 at 11:48 am

Don’t put a big “X” on an ad if it’s not possible to actually exit out of it.

  • Where are the black artist?
by no more basquiat on February 5, 2022 at 12:12 am

It would be nice to see more black artist representation in the daily art. I do enjoy the works shown on the other hand its seems repetitive over the time. For example a lot are simple well crafted portraits or a scenic views or normal classics. But the lack of black artist is questionable. I do respect your choices made so far. But I would appreciate to see more representation of those who are people of color in the DailyArt.

  • Great app but
by Richard Starshine on January 26, 2022 at 11:02 am

would it kill you to post something other than an impressionist painting? would some goya or a picasso killa ya?

  • The app is incredibly Buggy!!!! Needs to fix those bugs
by Brandon M. Tseng on December 19, 2021 at 6:38 am

When I scroll down, it randomly highlights to copy and when I want to highlight a text, it does not let me. The devs needs to seriously fix this bugs\errors.

  • Fabulous selections and explanations each day!
by LMCallais on December 18, 2021 at 4:20 pm

I love this app. It provides a variety of art pieces from all over the world with brief descriptions of each piece and the artist who created the piece; plus links to the museum where the piece is located and other links which include the piece in articles. This app is absolutely fabulous!

  • Steeped in knowledge of fine arts
    by 17LAZER on December 7, 2021 at 4:17 pm

This is a delicious, informative, and open e-magazine on the fine arts. Each day I cannot wait to see the art work for the day. Sophisticated, knowledgeable art historians who volunteer to educate the readership are selected to dive deeper about a specific artist with fascinating insight. So many times these extraordinary Daily Art masterpieces have lifted me out from a deeply depressed state. This site has directly influenced me to take beginning drawing classes but most importantly, each day it rekindles a hope that through the arts humanity is granted another opportunity to renew and to redeem itself. Daily Art encompasses and includes art worldwide. I have seen the phenomenal efforts by its CEO to be not only inclusive with respect to art and artists globally but to reach out to people world wide such that translators from every non English speaking locations have been sought so that people the world over can freely benefit and have the same opportunity to enjoy Daily Art Magazine (online) as those who live in the West.
