  • Leading the industry to next level
by LearningGeek on 2020-05-10 at 12:58 AM

Truly revolutionary in keeping users engaged in a Spotify type learning experience

  • Can’t access, disappointment
    by Gatorpa2 on 2020-03-10 at 11:58 PM

So love the idea of the app, but only if it lets you sign in and work!! To the developers (because this should NOT reflect negatively on PAEA) if I have to create a “name.edcast” then let me or create the usual sign in process..not that hard and can capture more data. PAEA...STAY ON TOP OF THIS AND DONT TRUST YOUR DEVELOPERS...This is a face of your image!!

  • Great Contents but App not stable
by MoMoAbEl on 2020-02-25 at 4:05 PM

I’ve been struggling to keep the application running, if it doesn’t crash it is very slow in loading contents.. Otherwise it indeed contains lots of beneficial contents.

  • Doesn’t work
    by mrspjd2008 on 2020-02-16 at 9:33 PM

Terrible! Apparently they don’t care that their app doesn’t work.

  • Unhappy
    by lynn1574256 on 2020-02-11 at 6:01 PM

I open app and get kicked out. I am unable to take any classes from the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still does the same thing.

  • App crashes

Hey, I love this idea. Break away from facebook. How do I get my teacher to edcast?

  • A school project App?
by Rajender Avasarala on 2016-07-04 at 11:56 AM

I would categorize this as a useless app based on my experience playing with it!!

  • Great way to learn on the move
    by Pai_dPiper on 2015-10-28 at 7:52 PM

I've seen many online education apps before - everything from vocabulary games to course-based apps. I always thought that there needs to be a way to combine the best features together. This app gets us closer to doing that well. I like the idea of showing me what my friends are doing so that I can learn with them. I think the social features need to be more prominent in the app, but this is a good first step. I'm looking forward to more from this app! V1.0.4 update: Searching for users is very useful - I'm glad I can do that now. Looking forward to recommendations of my friends and people I know on the network.

  • Lots of potential here
by Stangaroo on 2015-10-23 at 7:35 PM

Great way to directly connect with influencers and ask questions real time in live interviews, the course network has great resources for personal growth and education. Looking forward to dedicated iPad version.

  • Terrible
by ricst on 2015-09-15 at 10:37 PM

This is a terrible App. On iPad, it only runs in iPhone emulation mode. Difficult to impossible to find the course you’re signed up for. Constantly nagging users about receiving notifications. The only way this App gets better is to totally scrap it and start over.

  • Ghost town
    by Meadowlark_Lemon on 2015-08-27 at 6:20 PM

Half-baked execution of a service no one wants or needs. Just a bunch of links to stuff with very little original content. Zero engagement across all categories (no active users). You're not going to discover anything of value using this app. I can't think of any reason anyone would invest time in this app instead of just following people on more popular services and publishing through more full featured platforms. Deleted.

  • This is great
by Christienick on 2015-07-24 at 3:58 PM

There's so much good information on here, and I can get to it in my spare time. If you are always busy but still want to stay informed, this is the way to go!

  • Simple. Easy. Learning.
by indiequick on 2015-07-10 at 10:44 PM

This app is changing my mobile habits. Instead of goofing off in games or on social networks, this simple app lets me learn on the go. Simple articles, videos, and more helps me to train the brain and not let it go to mush.

  • Uniquely integrates informal and formal educational content
    by Thirsty4Knowledge on 2015-07-06 at 8:34 PM

A key, IMHO, to effective mobile learning is not just to shrink the desktop via a responsive design but rather to think about the user experience outside the classroom/office/home — this app is focused on exactly that with a unique approach to integrating informal content (discussions, news, my own comments, etc) with formal structured content available via online courses. For example, I was just using the app and the channel on “Architecture” suggested a Ted talk on physical learning spaces which I found to be a terrific parallel to what his app itself is trying to do.

  • Interesting Learning Methods
    by Miranda_43 on 2015-06-01 at 6:57 AM

Edcast is an interesting way to explore the Web based on various topics one is interested in. Let's you save or share information. Has a vast knowledge base.

  • EdCast is the future of education
    by EssBee2020 on 2015-05-29 at 1:09 AM

This is a great app that provides free education and global access on a wide variety of topics. EdCast is the next big thing for education. People around the globe can access quality education using EdCast. As for me, I loved the course on Entrepreneurship and company values. EdCast is also a great professional training platform.

  • Good curation of content in one place
by Kay Shah Zirconiumks on 2015-05-29 at 1:04 AM

When I usually browse on Twitter, I end up wasting a lot of time, going from one link to another. However, it wasn’t the case here. Content related to a topic was all in one place and had sufficient info that I didn’t need to follow links which ended up not wasting time. The content is very similar to a lot of other popular sites, but since it’s all curated for you under a topic, you don’t have to go around looking for people to follow. It’s nice when an app does that for you since I don’t always know the experts in the field to follow. The content could be more richer and have weighted opinions, but since it’s the first release, I would give them the benefit of doubt.

  • Great new approach to quick, daily learning
    by akm96 on 2015-05-29 at 12:59 AM

I try to follow influencers in my industry on Twitter but it's hard to find all of them on my own and even then there's a lot of content in my feed that I don't necessarily care about. Edcast automates this all for me by directly following the topic itself and it really only takes me about 10 minutes everyday to flip through the latest and greatest content from all the top thought leaders in my industry!

  • Quick way of learning!
by LMUlion on 2015-05-29 at 12:57 AM

Bouncing back and forth between different fields of studies, I have been having great troubles finding what I am really passionate to pursue in the future. This app is a really quick and convenient way to increase my knowledge in certain fields I am interested in.

  • Easiest way to follow a topic!
    by khap0w on 2015-05-29 at 12:54 AM

As a student, I always turned to Twitter and Youtube to stay in the loop with my field. However, I found that Edcast allowed me to directly follow the entire topic and leaders in the industry. It seems to be in its early stages right now, but I am excited for more content and to learn something new on the go daily!
