The ePathshala, a joint initiative of Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India & NCERT.
Description
The digital India campaign has promoted extensive use of ICTs in the teaching learning process. The
ePathshala, a joint initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India and
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has been developed for showcasing and disseminating all educational e-resources including textbooks, audio, video, periodicals, and a variety of other digital resources. The ePathshala Mobile app is designed to achieve the SDG Goal no. 4 as well i.e. equitable, quality, inclusive education and lifelong learning for all and bridging the digital divide.
Students, Teachers, Educators and Parents can access eBooks through multiple technology platform that is mobile phones and tablets (as epub) and from the web portal through laptops and desktops (as
Flipbook). ePathshala also allows users to carry as many books as their device supports. Features of
these books allow users to pinch, select, zoom, bookmark, highlight, navigate, share, listen to text using text to speech (TTS) apps and make notes digitally.

Very good initiative by NCERT. The application encompasses wide topics. Only wish they could maintain the application better.

1.Truly fabulous initiative for digitizing the studies. This will go a long way to provide easy and accessible education in 21st century. 2.the app UI can be improved for tablets. there is also a bug that crashes the app. I tried class 11 physics and some chapters are affected. Please fix that!! 3. The chapters are presented in kindle kind of format which it awesome. 4. Who doesn't love free books ! 😉

Finally , After a long time someone in the HRD ministry really care about the Students.. Very good app for Indian Education system.. But as usual they only make it .. But there is no one to care and update it time to time.. APP CRASHES AGAIN AND AGAIN... NO USE OF IT .. PLZ FIX THE BUG ,!!!

App UI clean for few screens A lot can be done to improve UI for audio video section. Coming to issue I downloaded a chapter from secondary class science book. After I downloaded I tried to open it from home tab, it tries open but closed whole app.
