I send emails and make calls seeking any clarification of why my TEPSLF application is stalled. Email through this app. Never received any responses. FedLoans goal is to run out the clock so I become ineligible for this waiver.

Great Application because it allows me to pay off as I go. I wish the connection with the educational institution was so direct that I could actually see as I accumulate debt. A kind of real time capability so that I know how much I am spending during the educational process.

Terrible. My bill through app different than actual bill so I have been delinquent twice.

I’m going to miss this one. They’re no longer my servicer, graduation is coming up soon and I was looking forward to paying off my loans, everything was so clear and straightforward with these folks.

Filed multiple complaints with consumer commissions and have legal complaints pending. Predatory. Do not do business. App does not work either. Figures. Avoid.

Easy to use and pay off loans but sometimes the app has trouble logging in. But I like the easy access having in on my device.

... That Fedloan won't be my loan service provider anymore. Been using them since 2016, and I'm actually nervous to see how everything will go with Edfinancial Services. I really don't know who decided to implement this change nor why. The app was always easy to use and never gave me problems. Thank you to the staff at Fedloan for your help all these years!

This App is so useless. How will this app be complaining that my surname is not correct or is not on their data base

I am constantly trying to reset my password for this account. It is extremely frustrating to have to do this every time I try to log in. I would love to be able to rely on apple’s feature where at least it can set a complex password and use Face ID to auto login, but for some reason I can’t reset my password and enable Face ID at the same time. I will not pay another dime until y’all calm down with the constant required password resets and LENGTHY password history avoidance requirement. It’s unreasonable and frankly it comes off as discriminatory to expect people with memory and focus deficits to be able to remember all of that.

UPDATE: The app just directed me here again after making another payment. Seems like this shouldn’t be allowed. I’ve paid $15,000 towards a $20,000 loan, and I’ve still got $16,000 to go. This doesn’t include the interest that will start accruing again in September once COVID forbearance ends. My interest rate is higher on public student loans than on my car note. I’m not sure what part of being gouged for the last 10 years makes the FedLoan folks think I’ll give a favorable review of my “user experience.” But this is supposed to be an app review, so here goes: - The app only provides access about half of the information available through the web portal. When prompted to write this review, I decided to look up my payment history to see how much interest I’ve paid. I had to use the web portal to see that. - Without any prompt or warning, I was redirected to the app’s page on the App Store to write this review. I’m not sure why they thought “immediately after giving them 1/3 of my paycheck” was a good time for this, or that any type of unprompted redirect to an action in a different app was ever a good idea. That’s the same behavior as intrusive advertising. - It’s fine, as far as apps go. It works, doesn’t crash often, just half of it is blocked off for “maintenance” at any given time. If I had come to this review page of my own actions, probably a 3-star app. The forced redirect dropped that by 1 star. Doing it right after I begrudgingly made a payment dropped it another. In summary: FedLoan Servicing can kiss my grits.

Been locked out for a month nobody answers the phone then you have to sign into your account to email about not being able to sign in. These companies know exactly what they are doing. But hey one miss payment on student loan they ruin your life for 7 years even tho it’s their fault. Corruption is flowing into every online business. Stay away from this company. They won’t help you unless you fit a certain category in their box. Locked out for no reason during tax season JUST WONDERFUL

Why does my face recognition shut off? It’s super annoying and makes it hard to go in the app and make a payment. Then I have to figure out my password again. Soooo counterproductive!

I've been calling you for several days. Been on hold for several hours. Went through endless loops on your voice message system. When I try to login online to make a payment it says my account is locked. Please contact you. When I call and spend half a day trying to speak with someone it tell s me my account has been unlocked and it says it sent a temporary password to my email. Neither has happened. So. Please unlock my account. ok. after your system called me back and I waited on hold music for another 35 minutes, The agent that finally answered was able unlock my account and provided a password reset to finally resolve my issue. Thank you to the agent. Please find a better way to conduct business. Unbelievably painful process. -Account locked/ your “contact us”is impossible

I have three loans serviced by FedLoan, and the app tells me that I can’t access them through the app. It says I have to use the website. Seems pointless…

Don’t have problem with this app at all.

What we have here is a classic insult to injury situation. I envision some kind of evil, self-satisfied overlord type sitting behind a giant desk, in a spookily-lit office on the top floor of the Fedloan Servicing building, laughing maniacally at how he (it’s definitely a man) has found one more way to screw us. “We’ve been taking their money for years and now we can shoot their pitiful peon lives full of frustration and inconvenience every time they try to use the app. Hahaha,” he says as he rubs his hands together. I don’t understand how this app got an average rating of 4.8. Bizarre. Suspicious. The app is so close to useless, it’s infuriating. One would think that a company getting so much of our money would be able to provide a helpful app. Apparently one would be wrong. The app has very little functionality.

I love the app and have been using it for years. At first very hard to navigate but they have defiantly put the necessary upgrades and I really hate to see it go. I love being able to do target payments and see the breakdown of each loan.

Zero interest helps me to pay off part of my student loans. I have already paid off one loan and that is a big help.

App used to allow for targeted payments to interest or principle. Now everything goes to principle and you have to call and email many times to get the amount reapplied properly and this only happens months later. Disgusted with FedLoan and the whole student loan business.

I love this app. I like to monitor where my money is going and see what I owe. This app allows you to make sure you stay on top of payments and help with determining how long you may have to be paying on your loan. It encourages you to want to pay more when the numbers are deceasing. I love the pay off option. You can see every loan individually and have the option of paying that loan. It’s an awesome app.

All of a sudden they say my biometrics has expired. What exactly is the purpose of that?

Nice convenient app to make payments on your student loans. Don’t expect more than that and you won’t be disappointed.

Hands down very easy to use. I’ve had FedLoan since 2011.

Very well organized App with all of the tools I need at my disposal. The repayment options are all very clear and allow you to choose between them without having to go through too many hoops. Being able to pay off ahead of time, make automated payments, make extra payments, are all really good.

I just have to say that Fed Loan has absolutely worked with me on my loans. The key is communication. If people would just call and put forth the effort to pay, they will find out that Fed Loan is very helpful.
