- Banking with Peopleby MedXLR8 on 2020-11-04 at 3:27 AM
HomeStreet reminds me of growing up in the Midwest, where every banker knows your name, they don’t need your account number, and they look out for your money like it’s their own. Love HomeStreet Bank, personal and business...
- Terrible online bankingby ?4x on 2020-08-10 at 8:57 PM
If you enjoy a banking app that is circa late 1990s, then this will be right up your alley. I don’t know why HomeStreet won’t invest in their online banking facility.
- Crashingby Reo204 on 2020-07-10 at 9:48 PM
Current version (as of 7/10/2020) crashing running iOS 13.5.1 on iPhone 11 Pro. Crashing occurs right when app is launched. No longer usable at this time.
- Error code 0014by AppleNicknamesAreTerrible on 2020-06-08 at 2:39 PM
I can’t even get to the login. The app repeatedly reports an unknown error and fails to even start. This is on an iPhone XR with iOS 13.3. This is not acceptable.
- Cannot make mobile depositby Mzt4123 on 2020-05-09 at 2:13 AM
I have used this app for 2 yrs for deposits now, today I take the picture the same way as I always have and get a message that says it can’t be read and I need to make sure I have proper lighting, not shaking and see the corners. Bank phone support was also useless. I can still make mobile deposit with my credit union.
- Security system stinks. It makes me want to change banks.by Mikeyhersch on 2020-05-08 at 4:58 PM
Stinks
- Kinda oldby Liberator194 on 2020-04-02 at 5:54 PM
The picture deposit defaults to the button by the top of the screen! Who uses a camera like that? No Face ID support, no password manager support.
- Minimal appby abella1 on 2020-03-09 at 11:12 PM
Doesn’t say your deposit is pending. Doesn’t say why it’s declined. Like the old bad days with software when it didn’t give error codes.
- Loggingby 001rita001 on 2019-11-19 at 5:57 PM
Logging in to the app can be severely improved. Also it is annoying that it is not letting me submit a review without a nickname which is all taken...
- Super glitchy appby 12suz on 2018-10-04 at 3:37 PM
This app malfunctions regularly. Not as reliable as other banking apps I have used.
- Needs a lot of workby AdamWygle on 2018-09-24 at 9:59 PM
This is the most clunky of any banking apps I’ve seen. There’s no detail on items so I don’t know what a charge was. It has no integration with passwords nor any way to sign in with my finger print. The fact I have to write mobile deposit is crazy. Of course it’s a mobile deposit, I’m on my mobile phone. Out of the four different banks I’ve used, this is the only one to require that extra, unneeded step.
- Wonderful personal service and attention!!by jenny coates law on 2018-09-14 at 10:53 PM
I love the personal service I receive from HomeStreet both for my personal and professional accounts. Have never experienced this level of attention and support from any other bank.
- Camera depositby Disneenut on 2018-08-08 at 12:21 AM
Did not like the function to line up your check I would preferred to have an auto clinic and then it was clunky do you have to push the same green button to get out it wasn’t clear how to get out to the next screen or go to the back of the check for the next picture I was suggest UAT Testing is needed and should’ve been caught in beta testing just my two cents
- Not so goodby GuenGroup on 2018-05-29 at 7:03 PM
The app is pretty clunky. It will not tell you whether you need an update but have processing exceptions and other errors which make you then go back to the app to then update it. I experienced all of this just this morning. And then it still would not work. So I finally rebooted the phone and it began to work. Like I said, it is not the best app. You sometimes have to make a guess to get it to work. And that is not what I want to deal w/ when it’s my business and my business’s money.

Need fingerprint login Too many login steps...cumbersome
- All in one!by NormRietveld on 2018-05-01 at 10:05 PM
Having all my accounts in one app... is so nice. Easy to use.
- Stuck in 2009by Jasmine9890 on 2018-04-02 at 11:26 PM
When all of my other banking apps have my fingerprint saved I not only have to type in my password but my company id as well. Very frustrating. Also checking shows total of checking plus savings. I would rather they be kept separate as they are two separate accounts
- Crappy Securityby NathVG on 2017-05-15 at 10:24 PM
Who in the hell will remember company id? And why should we remember to sign-on on top of username and password. With recent update now you also ask for phone number on record?!!
- Doesn't Workby JMC509 on 2016-07-24 at 8:19 AM
It is impossible to get this set up. I'm running iOS 9.3.3 and OS X 10.11.6 with Safari 9.3.3. I cannot use the app because I must associate a mobile number with my account for mobile banking. The mobile banking center online is just a nearly blank page that will not let you add anything. It just says " Enrolled Mobile Devices To use mobile banking, you need to activate a mobile phone or mobile device. It's easy, fast, and secure." It gives you no option to actually activate a number or device. If you read their FAQ's, it directs you to m.homestreet.biz, which just tells you to open the app, and is otherwise a splash page with a never-ending "initializing" animation. Again, you can't use the app until you activate a mobile device/number. But to activate a device/number you must (apparently) get into the app. Catch-22. Homestreet has done an amazing job of combining all of the negatives of a big bank with all of the inabilities of a small local bank. This app is another perfect example of Homestreet's horrible management. Congratulations to Mark Mason for continuing the acquitions with absolutely no regard to customer exerpeience.
