My 5 y.o.kiddo loved the app! He even passed all the lower levels, and still gets back to them from time to time. I highly recommend the app, as it does keep the child busy and interested. The biggest hit with us was tracing letters which did contribute much to his writing skills. Thumb up to Kids Academy, keep up the good work!

There’s no sound

I’m pretty disappointed in this app considering all of the positive reviews. The animation is subpar compared to similarly priced learning apps. I felt like I was watching a 480p show from the 90s. More importantly, the addition and subtraction content was far from any level of learning. It was more practice than learning. For instance, 3+1=4. There’s no visual context on what 3+1 means. My kid needs to see 3 rabbits + 1 rabbit = 4 rabbits! The only thing I’m happy about is that there’s a trial period. Pass.

I paid the annual fee for this app and then deleted it off my sons iPad in error. It is not allowing me to restore my purchase nor is there any contact info for customer service. I’ve been trying this for 4 months. I’ve contacted Apple and they say it is up to the owners of the app. So I’ve paid over $70 and we’re only able to use it for 5 months. Thanks for stealing my money.

I got the year subscription or my son. I think it would be great for him, except it has no sound...I tried emailing and it wouldnt go through. How do I go about fixing the sound or getting a reimbursement?

There is no sound in this app which makes it very weird

I purchased the app in order for my son to review before school started. I was intending to have it available only for the month that I purchased. So, I payed the full month, was charged fully and then canceled my subscription for the next month within a couple of days. Once I did that, I received a message that my subscription was still good until September 3rd. However, a couple of days after I canceled, the app did not allowed me to log in. My child was able to use it for an average of 5 times! If I payed for a full month, I should have been able to use it for the time said when the subscription was canceled!

Do not bother downloading this for your child unless you expect to pay 7.99 upfront without even getting to test the game.

I just paid $49.99 for a yearly subscription because the app claims you can use a family account. I cannot use the subscription on my children’s devices. I will be requesting a refund.

Not much in the free version

Our daughter seemed to like the songs in this app so we subscribed, but then as we let her explore, she got frustrated ... the app is slow (on a new iPad), math games were hard to follow ... dragging an object to the answer is hard to do if app is not responsive or intuitive. Caused our daughter to get frustrated, hope it didn’t put her off math apps 😩. Stories seemed off as if the classics were told by someone not familiar with the classics. Wish we could get a refund!

Can’t do ANYTHING without paying a super high premium!!! Shame on you!!!! We did one ‘rhyming’ game (literally what word rhymes with pen) before it went to payment option and wouldn’t continue! Don’t waste your time!!!!!

This isn’t just a game, this helps your child learn and allows your child to actually do the work by writing its letters and numbers. I highly recommend this for all children and parents. Instead of having your children playing games they get nothing from why not have them play something like this where they will actually take something away from it.

I would like my annual refund the sound on this app does not work from either of my children’s phones . I’ve gone crazy trying to figure it out this app is useless if the sound is not working. I work too hard to pay $90 for an app that my child cannot hear

My child must have downloaded this app without my knowledge. I was charged with $80 today without any warning or additional approval. DO NOT use!!!!

You have to pay to just so your kids can learn. Won’t even let my child go past the number 3 unless I pay smfh

This app just wasn’t for my 5 year old. The content is actually below grade level (kindergarten) and wasn’t helpful. Not to mention the sound stopped working and the app frequently froze up while in use. It just didn’t convince me to spend $79 for full access. No thanks.

Disappointed!

Other than basic stuff, no content on word recognition or sight odds or so. Took a yearly plan hoping that they would update the coming soon. Nope.

Hate to think that I can’t get my $ back but I’ve moved on and force my toddler to play this since I paid so much for it. But it’s NOT WORKING!!! It freezes and useless! Will never support this company again!

Very frustrating. My granddaughter and I were playing the alphabet game. We couldn’t get past “C” because a message to buy more options kept blocking us. When we x’d out of the message, the app took us right back to the beginning. It was a never ending loop. Lousy.

This app will scam you into paying money, even after deleting it off my phone it charged my apple Id a renewal fee. No good app should need to steal money to make a buck, even after I complained about this obvious mistake.

After charging me an unauthorized charge for the application, there was never a way to discuss this dispute with a representative and the number to call was only an automated system. Also, the content of the app is completely frozen and doesn’t work properly so I can’t even use the application.

The full version may be good but the free version is a joke. 3 letters, 1 rhyme. This is not enough to even decide if it will work.

Downloaded the app and after the second day the sound stopped working and hasn't worked since 😑. To top it off the little dog in the math puzzles is very difficult for my son to move with his finger.... I requested a refund.

Not Free at all, what a big disappointment when my 5 year old daughter could not even try it.

After a $80 subscription my wife purchased, we could never log in to the all access pass to get access to all the other areas, tried to reset password m, but we were always at the trial level access. Thought the faniy sharing feature would a breeze, but the same thing happened on other devices. Wish my daughter could have taken advantage of this app.

My daughter loves to play this game when she can play it.. it freezes after 10 seconds in. I don’t expect this when I pay $80 for a subscription.

My son was tiring of the free version so I swiped up, curious to know the price of the full application and I was shocked to see it is $79.99 annually! It is so easy for a child to swipe up and purchase this application also, they know what they are doing. I deleted it immediately and found something else. Ridiculous. We have a leap frog tablet and it cost as much as that. No way.

My husband got this as a free app over a year ago for the kids. He must not have read fine print or didn’t understand something, but I just noticed iTunes charged the credit card $80. Looked into a year ago and it did then. This is ridiculous! A few dollars sure, but to charge like this is unethical.

This looks like it might have some useful activities but $80 year fee seems quite high. Would appreciate knowing the cost in advance prior to downloading.

We paid the $80 premium subscription but iPad Pro w/Guided Access crashes all the time. Not kidding. Developer wins and we lose. Does that mean it’s a scam? Not sure but it crashing *premium* apps should not even be on the market otherwise. Switching to Endless Academy to pay another $80 — feel like we paid to be penalized on this one. 😡

My toddler really enjoyed the engaging videos, music, and nursery rhymes. It's an app I felt good about letting her use.

Having come from a family with less opportunities, I know the value of making the most of them. This app is a great opportunity, and we're using the heck out of it.

Why not use this app? Even if it didn't teach your kids anything, it's still fun for them. However, it does teach them lots of things.
