- I can no longer learn!by CPManning on June 22, 2022 at 10:49 pm
You have forced an update to your app and now I can no longer use it on my iPad because I can’t upgrade the iPad any further. Guess I will have to cancel this. You didn’t have to do this.
- AirPlay no longer worksby D0R10B on June 19, 2022 at 8:26 pm
as of about a week ago airplay worked great, but now it doesn’t work at all and will typically result in an error message being displayed. This is a shame because Apple TV and Roku native apps are no longer being offered like they were when it was linda.com, so airplay is pretty much the only way to watch the videos on a larger screen
- Can’t Log Inby None of your business273747383 on June 19, 2022 at 12:51 am
I log in just fine on the web but through the app it’s asking me for credentials I don’t even have. I have a library card but it’s asking for a Library ID specific to my local library saying it should be in my invite email. What email? Guess I’ll stick to the laptop.

The most recent update will not allow to me log in to Learning. Please fix.
- Not able to sign in!by Shopper ABC on June 10, 2022 at 6:46 am
I’m using my LinkedIn.com account to sign in, but it says it’s an invalid email. Then I tried to create a new LinkedIn account using the same email, it says the email already exists. Is it a contradictory? I can sign in LinkedIn Learning with the same email from browser but not from this app. Very frustrated!
- Catch 22by cleaford, follow me on June 3, 2022 at 8:58 am
It appears that you no longer provide support for my iPad. The app Keeps telling me to upgrade the version of the app in iOS. However, the new version requires iOS 13 or later. My iPad Air can only update to iOS 12.02. Getting a new iPad is out of the question, because it’s not in the budget. This is unacceptable. There are no subsidies to make such a purchase.
- Won’t run on my older iPadby Nfieldflyguy on May 12, 2022 at 11:14 am

- App crashes when I pause videoby jonathan_L on May 6, 2022 at 2:59 pm
I really enjoy running linkedinlearning on my iPad while I code on my laptop. However, if I pause the video for a minute or two, and then come back and click the play button, the app will spin its gears for a while before crashing or telling me to try again. My normal workaround is to shut down the app and restart, but there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get back to where I left off. This is a fairly cumbersome workflow, and I'm hoping the developers can figure out how to fix the pause-button issue. Thanks!

- Same Library as Lynda, No AppleTV app?by Amarand on April 28, 2022 at 11:35 am
LinkedIn bought Lynda.com, and decided not to have an AppleTV app, and they have the nerve to continue to charge $299 per year? C’mon guys. You’ve had how long to put a LinkedIn-branded AppleTV app out? The Lynda.com app -already worked great for years-. You can’t just…rebrand the old app? Seriously….

Great App!
- Needs Keyboard Support - Good Otherwiseby M Swindler on April 9, 2022 at 4:06 pm
The app is good. I like the ability to download courses for offline viewing. The UI is OK; having the chapter list at the bottom is not ideal (should be to the side like on the web since it is tall and narrow) but otherwise it works well enough. The biggest opportunity is keyboard support (e.g. Space for Play/Pause and arrow keys for skipping forward/back).
- Good service with annoying appby ohmegan on April 7, 2022 at 11:07 am
I love the service, but the app is surprisingly not great UX and has some missing features or logical capabilities. I just recently began using LinkedIn Learning and planned to primarily use it on iOS. Unfortunately, I’ve run into a few snags with the iOS app that I’m hoping leaving a review will help the feedback get to the developers to be fixed or made more clear. 1. I created a collection on mobile with the intention of organizing the large volume of courses I’ve saved. — I can’t figure out how to access a collection after its creation. — When adding courses to a collection, I can’t figure out whether it’s possible to select multiple courses and “bulk” add them to a collection. Right now, I’m going through a huge list of saved courses adding to a collection one by one. 2. Can’t disable the banner notification for “course saved” or “course added to collection.” They don’t auto-dismiss — I have to close each notification one at a time after they stack up while I’m saving courses. At one point there were more than 40 “course saved” notifications and I had to close each banner one by one. Turning off in-app notification didn’t help. And then the same thing happened when later wanted to organize the courses into collections. I hope the developers will utilize this feedback and fix the above issues.
- Deceptive tactics, can’t login using library cardby AbuSamak on April 6, 2022 at 6:47 pm
So I can login and use the platform using my library card just fine, when I use a web browser. Cannot login using library card and pin using the app. I do get the prompt to enter my library card number in the app but when I do so I get the error “your library doesn’t have access.” Of course my library has access, I was just logged in on safari!

- Bad link setupby Touch ID confused on March 21, 2022 at 8:39 pm
I would love to use the full deployment of LinkedIn Learning but cannot do to a bad library card login set up page. When I go to login with my Dewitt Mi Library Card where you put the number has a long line of text already in so that you cannot put the library card number.
- Keyboard not coming up on iPadby reviews are reviews on March 9, 2022 at 4:20 am
My iPad is up to date and the keyboard isn’t coming up on the login screen when I select the text box. I get the blinking line which indicates to type, but the iPad keyboard isn’t coming up. I do not have any Bluetooth keyboards plugged in nor are any usb devices attached.
- Wonderful easy to understand and apply teachingsby Curious kid for life on March 4, 2022 at 11:15 am
I’m so fed up with the countless hours of lessons that just didn’t factor into our lives at all! We can’t use the knowledge to further our career or stand out in a crowd of recruiters. I feel as though I went into debt 25k and could've learned all that and some online and mostly for free! Even the $30 I had to pay once I just thought well you better get as much as you can!!
- Does what you expect it to— if you live in 2018by Nilsipilzi on February 11, 2022 at 9:16 pm
the LinkedIn app for iOS is outdated. This app has basically functioned and looked the same for as long as i can remember. It seems like more of a web wrapper than a native app experience itself, which is unacceptable in 2022, especially if you’re Microsoft/linkedin. Beyond that, the iPad experience in particular is just plain bad, with it just basically functioning as an unoptimized iPhone port— again, not really acceptable when iPad has become a laptop replacement for many of us. Hopefully, there will be a solid update coming in the future.
- Frustrating experience on iPadby WriterJamie on February 7, 2022 at 8:24 pm
The iPad app lacks no-brainer features of the web version, such as the ability to bookmark specific videos in a course. Having to use multiple taps to pause and start a restart a paused video is infuriating if you’re trying to take notes. The play/pause/etc controls disappear and have to be brought back by one tap and then another precise tap to do what you want.

- I love it on the Webby Andrew1243 on January 6, 2022 at 12:11 am
App doesn’t let me log in via library, it always says I have no access on my iPhone app version. However, when I use the same iPhone to log in, but on the web, only then will it give me access. Also, the exercise files are VERY bad, why not just make it cloud based, why do I have to download a file?

- Great app but please give us option to turn off auto-play of videosby Marcman1337 on December 3, 2021 at 4:17 am
I use LinkedIn Learning quite a bit, both on the desktop and the iPhone. I really like this app. My biggest annoyance is that when exploring what courses are available and I tap on a course or video, it starts auto-playing and I have to stop it. I really wish the videos wouldn’t auto-play. Other than that, great app!

I don’t understand how they managed 4.8 rating. The app doesn’t even load properly and even when it loads the app hangs and then I have to close the app several times and open again and on most occasions it goes fruitless.
- Needs AppleTV native appby spikep on November 16, 2021 at 7:10 pm
There is some great content here including the Lynda.com stuff the acquired. The content and concept for LinkedIn Learning seem like a natural fit for an AppleTV native app. This is something they should have brought to market before allowing companies with Lynda subscriptions to move to LIL.
- Won’t downloadby Kristin on November 16, 2021 at 11:40 am
This LinkedIn Learning app refuses to download for me. If has a cloud next to it so it must have been uploaded to the cloud at some point? But not when I click on it it tries to download and the quits. Very frustrating.

- Notification Freezeby EOMockery on November 8, 2021 at 2:58 am
If the app creates any notification, it prevents any other touch actions until you close out and restart the app. Extremely disruptive given the frequency of notifications. Given its purpose, this irritating distraction makes it a painful app to use. I hope this updates soon and the issue resolves.
- Reasonably good, some technical issuesby revert510 on November 4, 2021 at 12:36 am
Have used for several years, on and off, usually through a work subscription. Here are some general thoughts: - Content is good, but less robust than other learning platforms lke Coursera. This can be good or bad, sometimes a short course on a timely topic is what I need. Sometimes, though, it would be nice to go deeper on a topic. You can create a collection, which is kind of the same idea, but because the content is developed separately, you may experience some overlap between courses. Ideally it would scaffold topics within a learning objective so you don’t have to piece together courses in order to achieve your learning objective - Technically, it’s okay, but I recently found when trying to bookmark a course, the pop-up notification asking if I wanted to create a collection would freeze any other inputs. Videos would keep playing, but there was no response to scrolling or other touch inputs, including that x-out to close the notification. I’d have to restart the app every time I bookmarked a course. Happens from both the topic list view and within the course view (iPad Pro 12.9, 3rd gen, iOS 15.1). So, lots to be happy about, a couple of bugs to resolve, and library that probably has something useful for you, but may not be as robust as a Coursera or other learning platform.
- Library card login url errorby Mysterious Lake on November 3, 2021 at 9:32 am
The library card login url seems to have an unnecessary space at the end. It never goes through. Please correct it. I’ve never had any issues logging in on the web or with the Lynda app.

It’s 2021, and this app feels dated in interface. The light colored interface is glaring and painful to the eyes for the light-sensitive.

- Doesnt load Duo Authenticatorby 👍's up on October 9, 2021 at 12:28 pm
Can’t log in with my university anymore since this app wont load the Duo Authenticator plugin. Not sure if this is more of an issue with how the university’s login page is set up or the web browser used in the app itself. Either way the end result is the same. I can’t log in so this app is useless. It was great when it worked, but now its nothing but wasted space on my phone.
- Can’t log in with library cardby 246810a on October 6, 2021 at 12:48 pm
I’ve had no problem logging in on the browser with my library card number, but the mobile app keeps telling me that my library doesn’t have access. Additionally, if you’re going to make users sign in through linkedIn, I think there should be a way to link their library access to their personal accounts. Ideally, obtaining library access to the app should be an option under pricing, not a way to log in.

- Low quality downloads and streaming!!!by AppleAppGameMusic on September 22, 2021 at 11:31 am
I pay the yearly subscription, which is expensive, and the downloads and streaming quality is very low. This happens even though I’m downloading and streaming from my home network which has a very fast connection. I am taking a coding class which show a lot of screens and code and is very hard to read. Even free services provide a MUCH better quality and even the option to set the quality of the download and the stream. DON’T BE CHEAP, WE ARE PAYING YOU!!!
