Collect goal-based achievements to remind you of your progress, or reach out to our robust community, filled with people who know firsthand how difficult it is to quit.

“What I find most helpful is the community. I love it! Having a good day or bad you always get words of encouragement.” — Whitwhit33

“With my decision to quit and the help of this easy to use system with achievement based goals to get you a little hyped about getting healthier.” — Princesskitten420

“I don’t think I could have made it this far without this app and the people. Every morning before I get out of bed and every evening before falling asleep, I read through the messages of other people’s success stories, their struggles, what motivates and inspires them to quit, and I realize I am not in this fight along. I have other people I can count on for help. This app has helped me and anyone who is wanting to quit should be a part of this community. It will help you succeed too.” — Jovita74

“Most helpful (to my surprise) was the ability to track cravings and watch them taper off as the weeks went by (i.e. see quantifiable proof that it actually IS getting easier). Also was nice to have something that I could DO when I was having a craving, rather than just grit my teeth and bear it.” — Polly Glossia

  • App needs syncing between devices.
by shfqrhmn on July 25, 2021 at 5:18 am

I have installed this app on two devices. It will be nice if this app syncs between devices. It will be a handy feature.

  • No longer chewing tobacco...Thank you
    by Greatapp345 on January 23, 2021 at 11:39 pm

I know this is a quit smoking app but it helped me eliminate chewing tobacco. I have been chewing tobacco for about 15 years and this helped me understand my consumption and slowly cutback. It took a couple different times but I finally did it...during a pandemic!!! Please make a similar app for alcohol!

  • App reset
    by BEEEN5 on January 9, 2021 at 4:57 pm

My app reset a few months in and now the progress I had recorded is gone. I mean I quit cold turkey after years without the app but I kinda liked seeing the money saved and the day I quit. So the app was essentially useless.

  • Pretty okay
by Skaggwa on June 15, 2020 at 1:48 am

I really like this app. I especially like how my motivation mantra is right there on the home screen to remind me why I want to quit smoking. However, I quit smoking a couple of days ago and it won’t allow me to backtrack my quit date, which causes all of my milestones to be inaccurate.

  • Can’t back date
    by Dr.Afro on May 28, 2020 at 3:22 pm

Does not allow me to enter a past date for quitting. I quite a week ago and it only allows me to add a date for the current or future date. ☹️

  • Retroactive Quit Date?
    by AprilC234 on April 28, 2020 at 6:11 pm

I am trying a lot of quit apps right now and I like the layout and features of this one, but I quit 8 days ago and the app won’t let me change my quit date to a date in the past. You should change this function! I want credit for my 8 days quit! Haha

  • Works!
    by Ccruver93 on April 20, 2020 at 5:27 pm

Turns quitting into a sort of game which appealed to my competitive nature. I’m 31 days smoke free now! Very effective. Loved seeing the money saved as well. Very motivating.

  • Too bad
by KensiBlonde on March 7, 2020 at 6:47 pm

Had to delete this app as it wouldn’t allow me to have a quit before the day I got the app. I don’t want to see I’ve had one day smoke free when it’s been two weeks! The community looked interesting and I wish I could find another app w that. Too bad this doesn’t let you back date. Weird!

  • Love it!
by jjfadoosh on February 23, 2020 at 3:50 pm

I love the way it tapers your down gradually. Also allows you to teach the cigs smoked & cravings so you can see trends (both positive and negative) I think the most brilliant part of the app is the “distract me” section. Some of the games are mindless, some require thought, but it’s proven very helpful to kind of reset my boredom trigger. Highly recommend this app!

Wanted to see where I’m at, quit a couple years ago but you can’t go back any further than the day you open the back.

  • App might be fantastic but couldn’t use
by YaddiYaddi on January 6, 2020 at 1:40 pm

I stopped smoking 4 days ago. The app is useless to me. Major flaw is that it won’t let you back date if you already quit.

  • Change the way you think!
by belladanda on November 10, 2019 at 4:36 am

I love this app! There are only two taper apps and this one is straight to the point. I have cut my smoking in half in just a week. Cold turkey has never worked for me and is frowned upon here in America, but not in other countries. I went from thinking I need a cigarette after to dinner to let’s do something else awhile, to soon retraining myself to not even crave after I eat. Hours can go by without smoking now and it’s psychologically changing the way you think, which is a huge part of it! Sometimes change takes time and this app gives you that. Tonight I had two cigarettes left and that motivates me even more to quit. After midnight I count out my cigarettes just in case I forget to log it in so I’m sure. I find I’m not focusing on it or freaking out if I’m near my limit.

  • Worthwhile Downloading
by DaJuLee on March 7, 2019 at 6:10 am

Updated review: The app doesn’t allow you to retrieve a forgotten username - just password. As a result, I can not get into the community forum. I haven’t quit smoking...yet. BUT this app has helped me cut down tremendously and is guiding me to a quit date. Tried other apps but none were like this one. It doesn’t lecture or tell you all the harmful effects of smoking, which we already know. Instead, the app helps you track every time you light a cigarette or crave one. You will see your daily progress on a bar graph. There’s also a history where you can view a certain day. This app also provides a “community” of support within the app. Great job developers!

  • App? Great! Community? Poor.
by sharksandsonnets on February 3, 2019 at 2:36 am

This app helped me taper down from 25+ cigarettes a day straight to quitting. It was great to check in, track my smoking, get motivation, and also have a daily plan on the number of cigarettes I could smoke. However, when I would jump over to the community tab I would have issues. The community as a whole largely only supports quitting cold turkey with no NRT. If you post to the community and are not a part of this cohort, the responses range from a lack of support to an utter shaming of the user. It truly turned me off the app. Now that I have quit and am maintaining the quit, I think I’m going to delete this app. SmokeFree is a much better app once you have actually quit and tracks more Heath achievements than just money saved and the fact that you haven’t smoked that day, including tracking your NRT. If you’d like to taper down, this is a great tracker to help you. But do not venture to the community tab unless you have quit cold turkey.

  • Community section needs improvement
    by Davebp79 on January 10, 2019 at 6:08 pm

Downloaded the app only for the community sharing thoughts and ideas about quitting. Sadly it crashes way too often and does not load at all sometimes, needs improvements for 5 stars.

  • Cannot put my quit date in as it occurred in past
    by Kj7600 on January 10, 2019 at 2:43 pm

I quit smoking 8 days ago and want to celebrate my success but his app Only allows you to set a quit date or today or the future. Super disappointed

  • Past Quit Date
    by JennG8823 on January 8, 2019 at 12:05 am

I quit on December 15, 2018. I am looking for some motivation in the new year but the app wouldn’t let me track a past date.

  • Much Love 🤝
    by chase_barnett on January 3, 2019 at 10:59 pm

The only efficient app I’ve found in the apple store that doesn’t charge anything to help you quit smoking & NO ads either. Seems helpful

  • Futuristic App Only
by Spadattack on December 16, 2018 at 7:05 pm

Switched phones and can’t go back to my original quit date.

  • Great!!!
    by klhw21 on September 2, 2018 at 7:01 pm

I love this app so far. It’s very simple and it’s actually free, the fact that I can quickly just add that I’m craving a cigarette means EVERYTHING because instead of going out to smoke I quickly just put down that I’m craving, and I feel like I have accomplished something, and I can physically see the amount of times that I have resisted the urge to go smoke. It’s like a little pat on the back. And once I put down that I’m craving, I DONT go out to smoke because then I feel responsible that I have logged CRAVING and not smoking. Very helpful

  • May work
by Kcbigmack on September 1, 2018 at 7:52 pm

Wish I could set the date to when I quit and not to today’s or future dates.

  • Already quit
    by button1a on August 22, 2018 at 9:41 pm

I already quit smoking a month ago and was told about this app, so when I went to set it up, it wouldn’t allow me to give a quit smoking date in the past. It’s too bad cause it looks like a great app.

  • Doesn’t allow backdating
by ahoyitssara on August 19, 2018 at 2:19 am

I quit months ago but wanted an app that could keep supporting me. Doesn’t allow back dating so wipes progress I have made. Maybe app is good but not what I needed.

  • Reversal
by Raj al Gohl on June 26, 2018 at 8:32 pm

I was at 59 days yesterday smoke free. Went to check my progress last night and tried to exit the app and clicked on the I Smoked button, didn’t mean to and now it says 0 days smoke free. Why isn’t there a reverse button?

  • Nice app
by snreilly on June 3, 2018 at 1:51 am

Super easy to use. My only issue is I quit about a month ago but still want to keep track and there isn’t an option to go back in time when setting the quite date 😒

  • A suggestion
by Ozogirl on May 11, 2018 at 7:07 pm

It would be helpful to be able to edit a previous day. I forgot to log two cigarettes and I want to be honest and accurate with this process! I also think there could be more encouragement. Like “congrats you cut your weekly usage by half, keep it up” or something.

  • Why
    by Rc2711 on March 27, 2018 at 8:33 pm

Why would you have an app where I can’t use it if today or tomorrow isn’t the day I decided to quit? I quit 2 weeks ago and wanted to use this app but it won’t allow me to put a date prior to today. So stupid

  • Free and no gimmicks
    by SJ1038693 on March 10, 2018 at 2:01 am

What else is there to say?

  • Annoying
    by Q7hvac on January 20, 2018 at 12:20 pm

You should probably allow the date I quit be earlier than the day I started using the app bc I would have used it.

  • It works!
    by MannyF86 on January 6, 2018 at 5:01 am

I quit smoking 3yrs ago all thanks to this app and the community support.. I recommend it to EVERYBODY!!...

  • Love it!
    by lrrix13 on December 5, 2017 at 8:40 pm

Day 4 of quitting and this app is helping so much. Love the community option. Just wish the was a way to tell others you like their post ( kind of the like button for Facebook or heart for instagram.) otherwise great app!

  • New update
by 3 year KaW player, A.U. on November 8, 2017 at 12:50 pm

New update looks nice, but is harder to use. You can no longer edit entries or adjust time.

  • Made me quit

Best quit smoking app. It made my journey easier. I recommend highly to anyone who wants to quit smoking.

  • They need to update to the new iOS update
by Billythekiddjdjdhfjf on October 31, 2017 at 12:58 pm

Great app but they need to update for the new iOS, it helped me quit smoking and part of it is feeling the accomplishment on seeing everyday that I made it this far.

  • Love it
    by Jb64290 on October 26, 2017 at 2:14 am

I love this app and REALLY hope that it gets updated so it works with iOS 11. I was only a few days away from 500 days without smoking, thanks in part to this app!! I love checking in every day and seeing my progress.

  • Love it, but...
by Erin M Lawrence on October 22, 2017 at 4:27 pm

The developer is not keeping up with IOS updates. I haven’t been able to use the app for three days. I depend on it and a lot of other people do too.

  • I love this app.
by Supersnotty on October 2, 2017 at 4:08 am

I always had mild panic attacks at the thought of not smoking anymore but this app really helped me by being able to visualize what I was doing to myself. BUT, when I updated to iOS 11 the app no longer works. I have emailed them and I’m still waiting for a response. It seems it’s been 4 years since they have updated.

  • Please update!
by Trnatalie on October 2, 2017 at 12:54 am

I have had a successful experience with this app but I can no longer use it because it needs to be updated to be compatible with my iOS. Please update this app!

  • Need updates

No longer working on my iPhone

  • I love it but can we get a new app developer? Is he dead?
by Reeeeee on September 29, 2017 at 8:40 pm

I just updated my phone to iOS 11.01 and now I can’t open the app anymore because it hasn’t been updated since iOS 7. Is anybody having this problem? Did the developer give up on this?

  • I’ve made it far but now it won’t work on my phone
by MyCherona on September 28, 2017 at 8:12 pm

    Needs update please!!!!!!

  • Love it

This app and community are a needed support for those who are stopping the cigarette addiction. The people in the community are the key to success because they know how it feels.
