  • App
    by red111 on September 14, 2021 at 9:41 pm

The issue with my gift card has been resolved. I can say that I truly enjoy the simplicity of getting on the scale or taking my blood pressure, and having the data automatically sent to the app.

  • Good service
by Carlossauce on August 24, 2021 at 1:26 am

Love my meter and Iam trying to get my health in better shape. Thanks Livongo

  • Beware of Cell Service
    by jene2727 on August 23, 2021 at 3:53 pm

If you have poor cell service, be advised it is a real pain to try to upload readings unless you take another blood glucose level reading when you do get cell service.

  • Does not work with WiFi only
by glangsto on May 20, 2021 at 2:41 pm

I contacted support to say the meter does not work properly if there is no cell service. I eventually got to cell service and the measurements transferred. They closed the issue, but did not fix the Application! Help is useless

  • iPad version?
by Udpdwshuugc on April 18, 2021 at 2:36 pm

I hope the developers are working on an iPad version of this app that works in both portrait and landscape screen orientations. Using the iPhone-optimized interface on my iPad screen is awkward and inconvenient.

  • Good, but I want integration with Apple Health
by gbrakeAlreadyTaken on April 16, 2021 at 5:27 pm

Pairing to scale and BP monitor was seamless and day-to-day usage has been great. I really love the simplicity. However, I really would like to see this app connect better with Apple Health. My previous BP monitor (Omron) connected and there are scale apps that do, as well.

  • Scam
by simply mommy on April 8, 2021 at 6:49 pm

This app is a scam they gather all your information and then tell you you’re not able to start using the app until they verify your insurance info. Then you’re not allowed to have your information deleted feom Thier app nor delete your account if wanted. Be aware this is a scam to gather all your personal info, don’t fall for it!!

  • Great app !
    by FlaPhoto58 on March 28, 2021 at 5:15 pm

It helps me to take my diabetes 2 more seriously and makes me more conscious of what I eat. Pairs beautifully with the Livongo glucose monitor.

  • No Apple Health Export
by Russty on February 25, 2021 at 11:56 am

In 2021 how can a smart scale with an iOS app not have export to apple health? Unacceptable.

  • Nice app, support not helpful!
    by RockinRobin234 on February 22, 2021 at 8:24 pm

I was notified that my access to my information was going to stop, AFTER they had already stopped it. I just wanted to access the last 2 month’s data for my records, but I was unable to do so since my login was no longer valid. If they really cared about your health, they would give you at least a day notice.

  • Twenty-one years into the Twenty-first century...
    by S. R. Morgan on February 19, 2021 at 5:40 pm

The ability to rotate to a landscape screen should be standard for apps in 2021.

  • Not for iPad
by Brother Printerman on February 17, 2021 at 1:42 pm

Useful app. I’ve had it on my phone for some time to track BP. Would be nice if there were a landscape version for iPad too.

  • Almost okay
    by redmon_22 on January 3, 2021 at 4:17 am

The app gets the readings from my meters, that part works perfectly well. It even can send glucose readings to the health app. It also will receive step count data from the health app. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t share blood pressure data with the health app. With as well as the rest of the app functions, I really feel that this one thing warrants a 2-3 star deduction because it is such a glaring omission. How do you put out an app in which half of the functions work well with other apps and the other half not at all? Fix the bp interconnectivity and your app will warrant 4 stars. Interconnect the meal tracking and calorie intake and burned information and it would be a solid 5 stars.

  • Good app
    by jcjohnson0313 on January 1, 2021 at 5:37 pm

Definitely needs lots of improvements valued be nice if there is some way we can track carbs and to be able to scan what we eat without having to use another app. I would slso love to be able to add notes to my blood pressure reading section like we are able to add note in our blood sugar readings. Overall a good app.

  • Does Not Connect to Meter
by KariBeng on December 27, 2020 at 9:20 pm

I got an email today saying that there was an app available. The email seemed to indicate that the data from the meter would be synced to the phone. This is not the case. The meter uploads the data and the phone downloads it. Which is absolutely useless. The only reason I even wanted an app was to be able to regularly upload the data from home (the meter does have service in our location). Unless and until the meter is capable of sending the data to my phone app via Bluetooth or whatever, this app is and will continue to be absolute garbage.

  • Should work with Apple Health
    by JAM-916 on December 7, 2020 at 8:59 pm

The app seems to work ok. It’s frustrating that it cannot read or write data with the Health app

  • Slow to sync
    by JanB33333333333 on December 7, 2020 at 12:31 pm

I am updating this review as I like the program, but the scale is slow to sync with the app.

  • Livongo app and equipment
by hpstephens on December 3, 2020 at 12:12 am

The app is GREAT! The reason four stars isn’t because of what does, when updating their app they did include their new products line. The new scale is a very reliable device. Their blood pressure unit has a learning curve concerning properly positioning of the cup.

  • Needs to be more user friendly.
    by Nereus_77 on November 30, 2020 at 3:20 pm

Needs to be more user friendly by making logs easy to download and share. At the doctors office, finally found where to share the logs, sent that to the doctor to find out they couldn’t use the link. Make a pdf version available for download through app. Need access to download full logs for a specific set is time lengths, 2 wks, 4 wks, 3 mo. Etc. Add voice log capability to the phone app as well. Why should the watch app get all the fun. Type 1 needs some cool stuff too.

  • Inappropriately accesses clipboard
by Moerrick on November 23, 2020 at 9:52 pm

This app inappropriately accesses the contents of your clipboard when launching - without your consent. There is no mention in their privacy policy what they do with the data they find there. Support doesn’t understand the problem.

  • Easy to use
by Coralgeo on November 11, 2020 at 8:11 pm

The app is easy to use. I wish there was a way to add meal photos after the fact rather than having to delete the log and start over (adding a photo needs to part of the edit function).

  • Suggested Upgrade
by Melisosh on October 21, 2020 at 11:47 am

The app is fantastic and makes it easy to track understand my numbers. I have a suggestion for an upgrade, though: when we take a reading, in addition to marking the time of day (before breakfast, after exercise, etc) and how we’re feeling, could you add an option for which finger we tested? I don’t normally remember and I’d like to avoid scarring my fingers. Thank you!

  • Easy to use and fast connection
    by Skap234 on October 11, 2020 at 7:27 pm

I’ve used three or four different meters. This is my favorite. The other brands were good, but they just showed your sugar levels and if they were high or in range. This meter reads and gives results fast. I charge it every three weeks or so and the supplies are automatically sent to me which is helpful. The app itself has so much in it to help keep you on track which is great. I love the weekly challenges. It’s like a healthy game lol No issues so far. I’ve been using it for about three months every other day.

  • Feature request?
    by DevonRice007 on October 11, 2020 at 5:09 pm

Seems like it imports my steps from Apple Health, but there doesn’t seem to be an automatic sync of weight or blood pressure data to Apple Health. Would love for that to be able to happen.

  • Scale does not sync to Apple health
    by Beekeeper_Dave on October 7, 2020 at 10:50 pm

Very frustrating that this does not work.

  • Scale works great
    by Graecus13 on September 22, 2020 at 2:13 pm

The scale is great accurate and fine. But the app does not integrate with Apple health app. That would be a great improvement.

  • So Many Missing Features
by joshgroft on September 15, 2020 at 1:25 am

The app works fine, does not crash, but it does so little. Meal logging does not offer calorie or (more importantly) carb counting. It does not talk to Apple Health, so any other health apps I use do not benefit from shared information (and vice versa). No communication with Health means even though I wear Apple Watch, Livongo knows nothing of my calories burned, daily activity, etc. It’s just kind of... useless to me. I’m not sure how this is determined, but as a T1 diabetic, I was offered Livongo for weight loss, not Livongo for diabetes, so all this app does is track my weight (which again, cannot be shared with Apple Health or any other connected apps). So... why does this app exist?

  • Connection to Apple Health in clunky
    by L E ITT on August 30, 2020 at 12:01 pm

The app seems to work fine but you’ll need to figure how get it to sync with Apple care. For me, I open the Livongo app after each draw. Then I have to go to the manage connections section in the app then shut down the app. Then reopen the app and go back to the manage connections section. That’s when I’ll see the sync time stamp was updated. I can then open the Apple Health app and see the data there. It’s a bit clunky and hopefully will be corrected on future updates.

  • Must have account
by dabier on August 28, 2020 at 4:07 pm

This app is not a stand alone type. You must sign up to use it. So that means I won’t be able to use the app and the blood pressure monitor side by side. I requested my account be removed when I was getting someone else’s weekly blood pressure report and felt it a privacy issue. While representatives did respond accordingly, it still doesn’t make up for the fact that signing up for a new account can be done unless contacting the reps. I get errors otherwise.

  • Medication Reminder
    by Karinaa822 on August 23, 2020 at 2:51 pm

I have been using this app for about a year. It has helped me on managing my diabetes. The only thing that I would in corporate in to the app is a medication reminder. I tend to forget to take my medication on time. This would also be helpful information for the doctor to know if I missed my medication or what time I took it.

  • Not updating
by Agent of karma on August 21, 2020 at 2:37 am

The app is not updating at all. My readings go into the website so the meter is fine, but the app won’t update unless I delete and download it again. Needs work if I am supposed to use this to keep track of things.

  • Be very careful if you take insulin
    by Sek0922a on August 8, 2020 at 10:09 pm

The app isn’t as functional as it could be. I found that it does not update your meter readings on its own. But the biggest issue is not the app... it is the test strips the company sends out. I have had issues with inaccurate readings from close to 10% of these strips. Plus the lancet device does not work as well as my old one.

  • Unable to log weight after upgraded to V. 3.8.6.
    by A_Khoa on August 7, 2020 at 10:54 pm

I could not log weight after upgraded to V. 3.8.6. Please, fix.

  • Service dropped
by Golfco on August 3, 2020 at 4:03 pm

I had connectivity to the scale through my employer. The only services I used were the scale to track progress. During Covid, I was laid off. Livongo cut off my connection unannounced. Not sure why they would cut the WiFi connection to the scale due to a layoff. Totally unprofessional and unwarranted. Called Cust Svc and they offered no options.

  • Does not record the pulse
by bojcovetz on July 26, 2020 at 5:00 pm

While the device displays the pulse, it does not record it on your phone. Further if someone else happens to use the BP device, you cannot delete the entry

  • Lacks tablet mode
by huzbub on July 15, 2020 at 8:04 pm

Please consider those of us using our iPads and not as a phone but on it’s side with a keyboard and stand (like a laptop). It’s a huge pain to have to remove the case, to use an app that then only utilizes 1/3 of the screen and now forces us to use the display as a keyboard.

I find the Equipment very user-friendly and the support team very committed to exceptional customer service. Period.

  • Nice app but how do you automatically update Apple Health?
by Tristar on June 24, 2020 at 2:54 pm

I’ve only been using this app for a little while, but it appears that I have to manually force every sync with the Apple Health app. If I do nothing, it never syncs. I have connected it to Apple Health solely for writing glucose measurements to Apple Health. To get it to sync I have to visit “Manage Connection” and press “Export Blood Sugar Data”, which already has a check mark next to it because it’s already set up, but it won’t export until I do that ritual.

  • very over rated
by NDlight on May 31, 2020 at 3:59 am

this app is too over rated as a health app. there no option to add a note or a comment on a pressure reading to help the person and their medical clinician/doctor the understand the conditions or the relevant information at the time the pressure reading was taken.

  • Changed my life
    by Euser12233 on May 14, 2020 at 12:12 am

I wasn’t consistent in my health and didn’t take the time or effort to get things in order. The Livongo program completely changed that. At first I was encouraged with simple steps that I just did because I didn’t have to think about it. Then I was increasingly encouraged to get more and more healthy (weight and mental state for me). I saw the positive impacts and that caused me to want to continue, and I found I had motivation I’ve never had before. It is such a positive cycle. Communicating with a real coach is SO HELPFUL. It’s not just a FAQ or machine bot, I was able to actually speak with a human who cared about how I was doing. I had no idea anything like this was out there. I only wish I had experienced it sooner. I wish everyone had access to this...I have it through my private health insurance. It changed my life.

  • Good hit improvements could be made
by MomOfNonstopTalkers on May 11, 2020 at 3:28 pm

This app is a decent app for tracking your sugars and food, however improvements could be made. I love the fact that it is connected to my meter. I am a numbers driven analytical person so not having to manually log this is nice. However, where significant improvements could be made is you cannot delete any readings, not can you make any changes one a reading is completed. Most of my readings I mark “I feel fine” so this is pretty automatic but there have been times when I meant to select something else but was on “automatic” and saved the record. This cannot be corrected. Or, after the save and upon reflection a different category was a better selection. Again, this cannot be changed. In addition, there is no logging history of weight or A1C changes. These two items are critical to understanding overall management. In addition, there doesn’t seem to be any integration for medication tracking. I am not insulin dependent so I’m not sure if the interface changes if one is but I’m guessing it doesn’t. This would be helpful to not only track sugar to medication but medication needs over the course of the month. It is nice that the meter tracks how many strips you have left and you can order straight from the meter or the app. Overall, I use the meter more than the app but the app is nice and convenient but simple improvements would go a VERY long way to helping to provide that overall picture.

  • Awright, but ....
by Iowa sax on April 12, 2020 at 8:42 pm

Testing of blood sugar is easy. Sync between the meter is often delayed. There is too much BS: no I don’t need personal coaching; no I don’t need to be told to take my veggies.

  • Like to see support for an Apple Watch app
    by Jolin52993 on March 26, 2020 at 2:06 pm

Like to see support for an Apple Watch app

  • Best ever -
by qedwtgeyk, on March 25, 2020 at 12:57 pm

I did not know they had meters for Type 2. I really like to see my results real-time. I used to write down my results on paper and lose it. Now I can see the results of what I eat and my exercise (in turn know the good and bad if I step out of line). Thank you.

  • Very helpful for diabetics
by seluagehya on March 23, 2020 at 4:35 pm

This app helps me keep track of my progress; makes me hold myself accountable. I need the records to identify what causes change. The oddest things affect my numbers. It’s all very convenient.

  • App cannot handle more than one device
by Timizzy on March 21, 2020 at 4:33 pm

I originally had a Livongo scale which works well... I then got a Livongo BP monitor and after spending 30 minutes with tech support and asking REPEATEDLY if the app would handle more than one device per account, was told finally that it would not. I have to have a separate account (and e-mail address) for each device/account... Therefore, I get twice as many frivolous e-mails from Livongo and their “partners”... Also, I have to log in/out daily to use each device... More of a pain than a benefit....

  • Great program !
by Bubbaks on March 21, 2020 at 12:41 pm

I use this program for both blood sugar & pressure and found no Better way to track it. They also offer great support and lessons. I highly recommend it.

  • Log-in problems
by Delinquent Roach on March 15, 2020 at 4:43 pm

I deleted the app before and decided to use it again. So I tried logging in with my credentials that I actually saved on my phone after reinstalling the app — not working. So I decided to reset my password and the link successfully made me reset my password. I tried logging in again and the same error popped-in. So I reset my password again using a careful no extra space copy and paste method, successful reset, and the same error after logging in. I don’t know what else to do because obviously, I am using the correct email and password but always comes up with the same error about checking my email address or password. 🙁 I guess I will have to delete the app again:(
