  • Why do I need to get an email or text every time I sign in?
    by Akex1959 on September 27, 2021 at 1:51 pm

I think one time is enough. Thanks

  • I’d love to give it more stars
    by Dschmidt1007 on September 27, 2021 at 4:38 am

I like the app for the most part. The biggest most glaring elephant in the room is that it doesn’t syncs with Apple Health. I don’t go to only doctors within Novant, yet they are are largest network I utilize that doesn’t sync Apple Health. My allergist even does and they are a small, 1 office practice. The other thing I dislike is when I’m using the app, if I have a bill, it takes me off the app and into the browser. Yea in theory it’s secure, and I know that, I just don’t like being forwarded elsewhere to do something that the app is claiming it does.

  • Still not working properly
by Invez on September 26, 2021 at 4:32 pm

After receiving notification from the MyChart developer I actually believed that this problem of switching between PeaceHealth and Vancouver clinic would be resolved. This would not be true. Switching between the two organizations worked temporarily. The app has returned to only allowing me to view one of the organizations and continues to give me an ‘Oops’ message when I attempt to log into the other. This is my message: Please fix your Oopsy daisies. You have not developed a reliable app. Vital medical information is on your app. Please get your act together. You’re not as bad as the Theranos fiasco, but your success rate is disappointingly similar.

  • Convenient and helpful App.
    by counsel69 on September 26, 2021 at 5:21 am

This app. Is easy to access and convenient to use. It runs smoothly most of the time. The only addition I would add is the ability to make a correction when seeing errors in documentation. If it is the ER or hospital staff, there is not a way to send an email to notify them of the mistake(s). If there was a correction request at the bottom of each note: there would be less errors or misinformation in the documentation.

  • Runs you around in circles half the time
    by Soundman245 on September 25, 2021 at 4:05 am

You can spend a lot of time running in circles on this app trying to get it to do what you need, whether it is appt scheduling, checking on prescriptions, sending messages etc. Often I get an email inviting me to take an action, only to find when I get into the app that I can’t actually do what they asked me to. Big UX fail by Epic Systems.

I am disappointed that my sentinel node biopsy results are not posted. I was told they would be ready in 4-5 working days. I called Dusty Smiths office and the report was there but she was not in today. Now I am waiting until Monday. This is nerve wracking.... it should be posted on my chart

by Heywoodya on September 24, 2021 at 4:45 pm

When I called to schedule an outpatient X-ray, the recording said I could do it through my chart. Not true. I was not able to schedule tests through my chart, and if it’s possible I couldn’t find it. Only appointment I could schedule was with a provider.

  • MyChart not accepting my login
by Veetsagain on September 24, 2021 at 2:49 pm

I tried logging on yesterday after receding an email that my GP posted messages for me. I tried to log on and MyChart would not accept the password. After some attempts to reset it it finally took but I had to use my PC the iPhone app would not allow me to logon. I received another message today there were messages for me and when I attempted to log on, MyChart would not recognize my credentials. I tried to log onto the desktop version on my PC and it too gave me difficulty. The desktop version on my pc asked me for an authorization code as if I were logging in for the first time. Interestingly enough, I clicked on Help and I was asked for my user name and password. I entered it and it went through. This makes no sense. I logged off the desktop and tried to log onto the app on my iPhone and the app wound not recognize my credentials. Please help!

  • Medical record available anywhere
by Supradoc on September 24, 2021 at 2:42 pm

MyChart for iPhone is a great tool! Personal medical records are available anywhere at anytime. Records from other EPIC medical institutions easily link to the primary account. Some functionality of the EHR is only available on the web version but the majority of needs are satisfied with the MyChart app.

  • Easy to Use
by jobarr on September 24, 2021 at 1:43 pm

The MyChart App is easy to use. I just wish they would add the option to schedule the Covid-19 Booster Shot online as well.

    by pissed368 on September 23, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Can’t do a thing unless you happen to be a patient at one of their chosen facilities. Worthless. Zero stars, if I could. And the web version only offer a 5 page pdf of your entire profile for download. Send that to an airline, and the have to dig through it for COVID test results. They did great with the vaccine and the testing but have totally crapped out on providing the results.

  • Why is MyChart not available when I am logging in From Puerto Rico
    by Chacko2 on September 23, 2021 at 3:37 pm

It is inconceivable that MyChart is not available to me with my vital medical history while vacationing or living in our winter residence in Puerto Rico. As you know, Puerto Rico is not a “Foreign Country” . It is a Commonwealth of the United States and as such its Hospitals and Medical Schools are accredited by the AMA and the various US hospital accreditation agencies. The citizen/ residents of Puerto Rico have US Passports. Given the above, it is unreasonable to cut off access to our vital MYChart records on the basis that Puerto Rico is a “foreign country”, which is clearly not the case. Please review this policy and consider amending it shortly. Thanks so much. Barry H Grayson DDS

This app is amazing . I love how I can share with my Mom my medical stuff so that helps .

  • Why not?
by Can't name taken on September 23, 2021 at 1:12 pm

These health portals are very helpful. They allow us access to important information about us without interrupting the care providers. Two suggestions: 1. Allow printing from the app. Currently one must do a screen capture. 2. Offer Linkage to ALL local providers to include Hammond Henry Hospital and Genesis. Unity Point strives to achieve excellence and competition certainly helps drive that. The fact is that one’s competition sometimes has the “edge”. Limiting patients to Unity Point providers forces patients “to settle”.

  • Bad

  • This app needs more work
    by Donté215 on September 23, 2021 at 3:25 am

Ultimately, I’d like to get alerts on my wrist - my Apple Watch - instead of my phone. I’ve tried many times to pair my Watch with the app and it just doesn’t work. The app also would be helpful if I can cancel or reschedule appointments or accomplish tasks unavailable on the website. But that doesn’t work either. In my opinion, this app is completely useless. Usually, phone and tablet apps are more convenient than the web version, but not so much with MyChart.

  • Easiest patient portal
    by lmama16 on September 23, 2021 at 1:08 am

I absolutely love this app. I can communicate directly with my physician. Make appointment and pay my bills all in one location.

  • Comparison of blood tests
by Cinderolla on September 23, 2021 at 12:58 am

In the past I was able to compare the current blood tests to previous tests. The current blood tests don’t give this option. It’s preferable to be able to compare.

  • MyChart has flaws
by machistejr on September 22, 2021 at 10:46 pm

The linking of organizations is not easy. When you try to schedule an appointment it takes you to a completely different screen where you need a separate account. There is incorrect information on MyChart with no way of correcting it. There is no way to add information such as COVID-19 vaccination dates. This app needs much improvement and simpler usage.

by alan waites on September 22, 2021 at 8:53 pm

I see no reason why I need to verify my phone number, which has been the same for nearly 20 years, and the same is true of my email, which has not changed in 20 years. I find this procedure of sending numbers to my phone to verify is work that doesn’t need to be done.

  • Convenient
by diwheele on September 22, 2021 at 6:40 pm

I love the convenience of seeing your results on the app. And also you can inbox your Doctor about any concerns you may have.

  • An app is not the answer for everything
by DD Cardi on September 22, 2021 at 4:30 pm

I’ve been trying to get a doctors note for my daughter for nearly a week.. the office tells me my only option is through the MyChart app. When it is finally on the app, it is not accessible to forward, email, or print. How do I send it anywhere??? So now I’ve been on hold for 10 minutes to speak with someone from MyChart just to be able to provide a doctor’s note for my daughter’s school. Way too much hassle and very inconvenient for things like this.

  • One of the worse medical apps
by BecksLight on September 22, 2021 at 4:17 pm

Does not gets the messages through to the medical staff and when it asked for other organizations to join, it ruins their system too.

  • Mixed feelings about MyChart
    by smsmsm51 on September 22, 2021 at 3:02 pm

I enjoy using MyChart with the Prisma System, however recently I needed to get my lab work to send to my surgeon at Emory in Atlanta and discovered that I couldn’t download the results to send to them. Doing screenshots was very cumbersome and difficult to use. I would love to be able to choose labs and have them produce a printout for both Doctors out of the area and for my personal medical records. I have learned how powerful this type information is in relation to my personal care. Also, I have both Prisma and Bon Secours St Francis systems. These two systems house and categorize the information and capabilities very differently so that makes navigation difficult. It would be very helpful to have the systems more similar. Also, when I use MyChart for Prisma to communicate with my Doctors, I get a response. When I use it with Bon Secours St Francis, I get no response.
