I’m really surprised that this isn’t one of the top apps of 2017, because it’s amazing and my kids have never gotten board of it in a year.

I just downloaded this for my 4 yr old son and he loved it. This is a really fun app!

As a librarian I love a great book app. This January I am beginning a program called "iStories" that will integrate iPad stories (like this one) with traditional Storytime elements. I've had a hard time finding good, free storybook apps and this one is FANTASTIC! A great story, fun illustrations, unforgettable characters. Overall it is one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to feature it in an upcoming Storytime! Thanks!!

My kids love Pete's Robot! It is a fun app that is very interactive, so it keeps my kids' attention, as well as delivers a good message.

My 18 month old grandson loves to interact with the characters. My 3 year old granddaughter hasn't seen it yet, but I know she will love it! Can't wait to see more adventures of Pete and friends!

My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES this app. The story is well written, the drawings are adorable and creative, and the sound effects are fantastic. He loves the screen interaction, and I like how it engages his brain and gets him involved in the story. We are anxiously awaiting more adventures of Pete's Robot!

I have a 1 year old and I was very apprehensive about downloading this app as this is targeted for older kids. But this app proved me wrong. My son loves this app. He loves the interactive characters. He keeps tapping his finger on the iPad and laughs when something happens. In all, my son loves this app and so do I. Look forward to seeing more apps from this developer. Good work!

My kids are obsessed with this app! Pete's Robot is an app that combines a children's book with contemporary smart phone technology, essentially creating a sort of futuristic pop-up book. My two-year-old can use my iPhone better than I can, and when he gets ahold of my phone, this is the app scrolls straight to. The book reads aloud to him as he pokes and flips and shakes every page. It's obvious that this is where children's books are heading, and this app has raised the bar on every book my kids have on their shelves. I'm totally impressed with the app and it's ability to immerse my child so creatively into the story, but don't think that the technology overshadows the story. Far from it. I'm sure many apps will try to follow suit in what this book has created, however it will be hard to replicate the entertaining and playfully bizarre storyline. The book combines a simple story of a robot in need of a heart with adorable silliness such as monkey mailmen, techno dance clubs, exploding candy stores, and a rock-n-roll band. It's sweet, silly, and simple, like the best books by Mo Willems, yet it's playful design elevates it to something that feels both retro and contemporary at the same time. It's like a cartoon come to life, but rather than feeling like a video game, it reads like an actual book that is encouraging your child to read, problem solve, and laugh. My only complaint is that the book doesn't end with a final page that signifies that the story is over with an easy way to start the story over again. I find my children handing me my phone when its over with them asking me to re-start it for them. This is a very minor flaw though. Otherwise, flawless and still worthy of a 5 out of 5 rating. I continually click on the developers link with hopes of more books furthering the adventures of Pete and all his strange friends. My kids would love more offerings, and honestly, so would I.
