- Real or Fake???!!!!by Mariseka on June 23, 2022 at 6:22 am
App does not tell you if your image of the stone is real or fake. You only get a list of “how to tell” the difference which is very deceiving definitely a creative marketing scam to get you to download this app! Disappointed.

- Awfulby Heatherzzz1 on June 22, 2022 at 1:51 pm
This app only identifies basic crystals like amethyst, green aventurine, rose quartz. When taking pictures of my crystals it automatically assumed it was amethyst just because it was purple. The fact this app charges is a joke. Don’t waste ur time.
- No goodby Pan11110 on June 19, 2022 at 6:41 pm
I scanned real and fake diamonds. All scanned as diamonds. Even moissanite was diamonds. If it’s in a shape of a diamond, it’s considered diamond. Not like ad says it can tell you if it’s real or fake.

I was a jewelry consultant for zales For a long time and I got multiple jewelry That I bough and also that Inherited Real stone. I have a expensive tester That identifies this stone from diamonds To sapphires to moissanite. - I am so addicted to this app!’by psychgirllocalola on June 18, 2022 at 1:34 am
This app makes my Hubs crazy!!! I spend WAYYYY TOO much time looking at my millions of specimens!!! He’s happy to take me camping to rock/gem trails, though! So, it’s a win win!!!
- Love and Helpfulby ??Sammi?? on June 18, 2022 at 1:13 am
Recently I went to Colorado, and I bought quite a few rocks there. Not all of the shops labeled them so I didn’t exactly know each one. It helped me find out which rock is which and keep track of them. I found out more about my rocks (I use them mostly for healing) and basically everything I needed. I am so happy with the results 😁.
- Legitby Mdroz28 on June 17, 2022 at 3:11 pm
Great App! It creates a collection with your pictures where you can document details of each one. So far it’s the most accurate identifier app I’ve tried and it doesn’t overwhelm you with ads and/or purchase restrictions.
- Overpricedby xxhs333 on June 17, 2022 at 8:16 am
Downloaded it and deleted it . 29.99 a year! Not even a lifetime use price. May be good but not at that price.
- Basic at bestby Ndnd Wife of Lrrrrr on June 17, 2022 at 12:49 am
Just use Google Lens instead. It’s not very useful for anything outside “quartz” or “Jasper” and anything purple is amethyst. Save your money.
- Not nearly perfect but better than it should beby SpaceGmr on June 16, 2022 at 2:40 pm
I originally downloaded this as a gag because I didn’t think it could possibly work that well but was pleasantly surprised and suggested my work & old school friends (geologists) download it. It may mistake your halite for a quartz but it can tell a limestone from a sandstone and spot a pegmatite which is not nothing.
- Near perfectby gementhusiastcasey on June 15, 2022 at 8:45 pm
I absolutely love this app. It helps me identify crystals that I bought a while ago and forgot what they were and gives in depth metaphysical property descriptions for each one. I’ve only had difficulty identifying one rock In the whole time I’ve used it. Near perfect

No notice you have to subscribe at $29.99/year to get more than a week out of it. I’m tired of the deception. I didn’t and won’t subscribe, because it’s deceptive.

- Not impressedby MzDee406 on June 11, 2022 at 4:23 pm
I love rocks & was so excited to see this app. However, I have zero confidence in its accuracy. The first two pics I took were of the same rock at the same angle. I was given both chalcedony & quartz which are nothing alike & not what I was wanting identified. I’ll check the app out again in a year or so but I won’t be paying for the premium version.

Same stone but three different? So for I’ve tried it 3 times and gotten a different stone suggested on each try 1. Diamond 2. Clear quartz 3. Sea glass I’m gonna try for another but the accuracy needs work

- Disappointingby haddie on June 4, 2022 at 2:10 am
If you don’t care about the ID being correct, this app is for you. It IDed one rock as sandstone and then limestone when I took the photo from a different angle. I think it just bases the ID on the color.
- Wowby Teets Treats on June 3, 2022 at 9:30 pm
I tumbled rocks. Totally worth it.
- Not bad, but needs work for better identifyingby Craigerkilbey on June 3, 2022 at 1:51 am
I am impressed with the ability of any app being able to, just from my photo identify a host of different rocks or minerals, However, It could use some fine-tuning. It needs better intensity from differentiating between rocks and gems. I would give it a at least it’s 75% accuracy right, for instance I have a meteorite but it keeps saying its onyx, but I hope that don’t discourage anybody from getting this out because it is a good app just needs work. Thank you for the app as it is helpful

- Everything is quartz!by notta quartz on June 1, 2022 at 8:37 pm
I’m not sure how accurate this app is supposed to be but it sure seems like 80% of all rocks are quartz. Even a horse treat I had in my pocket with my rocks ended up being a quartz.
- Beautiful appby angry grrrr on June 1, 2022 at 2:11 am
Super accurate ! Works like a charm! You can even make a profile and start a collection and it has all these different facts about your gems! Recommended for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Can’t try it out without agreeing to the subscriptionby Maid Mirawyn on May 31, 2022 at 7:23 pm
Jumping straight to a subscription agreement while saying, “Oh you can cancel it” is the surest way to destroy all trust. If you plan to charge, why not create a “lite” app that lets you identify a set number of stones? Then the user can try it out and see if they like it and see value. Straight to a high subscription? No thank you.
- Not Accurateby JenE2811 on May 31, 2022 at 2:55 pm
I have an extensive collection of raw crystals as well as refined. I was very excited for this app, but it was wrong about every thing I scanned. I’m incredibly disappointed. Thankfully I’m educated in the field, so I knew this app failed. It’s a fun app, just not accurate.
- About 50% accuracyby radiokitteh on May 31, 2022 at 2:53 pm
Yikes. Don’t rely solely on this app to tell you what stones you have. It’s right only about 50% of the time. When it doesn’t know, it just calls the stone “clear quartz” or “amethyst”. I have stickers with names on some of my stones from when I bought them, and tested those stones on this app, wrong every single time.
- Scamby CamiW123456789 on May 31, 2022 at 5:12 am
I love crystals and many rocks. I tried to use this app to identify them. I tried to identify one I found in my garage one day, and I scanned it and it came up with rose quarts. (this was very clearly not rose quarts) I tried to do it again and it came up with a different crystal. The crystal that came up was very colorful but the crystal I have is only yellow, black, gray, and white. J then tried this app on a rose quartz crystal I had and it said it was obsidian. I believe this app is a scam and I do not recommend getting it.
- Love this appby Menew16 on May 30, 2022 at 10:40 pm
It’s easy to use and very interesting
- Camera Not Compatible with iPhone 13 Pro?by Insightful Reflection on May 30, 2022 at 8:46 pm
My iPhone 13 Pro camera is far superior to the included app camera. I can only use it for ID purposes through the iPhone photos app. Also, the layout is clunky and not intuitive. It correctly identified three basic samples.
- Helpful but inaccurateby Ms. Beanie on May 30, 2022 at 5:59 pm
Most of the time your identifications are accurate. Sometimes they are way off. Today I was trying, not for the first time, to identify a rock which breaks easily and crumbles into powder in my bare hands. Yet you name it a different name every time I take a new picture of it in its own pile of gritty powder. The names you give it are all of hard rocks, one good for arrowheads. Not likely!
- Hoaxby Xmannyc on May 30, 2022 at 2:57 pm
At first, I thought it was amazing as I was identifying so many different stones and crystals to one day I picked a stone and used the app. I realized there’s no way it’s the stone I’m holding in my hands. So, I started using it for other things like a jade plant or succulent and it called it a stone. I used several different items and it seems it’s simply going by color. It does NOT identify stones and crystals.. beware of this purchase.

great help
- Not sure how dependable this isby ICFSYBAN on May 29, 2022 at 6:03 pm
Over all the app is great on telling you the crystal or pointing you in the right direction. However, be cautious! I took pictures of what I know for a fact was colored glass, plastic, & even cloth & it couldn’t tell so definitely do not totally depend on this app to tell if a crystal is 100% authentic! Do more research aside from this app if your a crystal person! If it’s just for somewhat educated purposes then go nuts!
- Love this!by non.binary.alien on May 28, 2022 at 9:28 pm
This app never steers me wrong. I’ve got around 40 gems in my history with this app, and they’re all spot on. If you’re obsessed with rocks (maybe to an unhealthy amount of obsessed), you’re going to love this.
