  • Subscription cancelation

    Be aware that there is no way to cancel the auto renew through the app. It can only be done through the initial person who paid for the app and their personal App Store. A business can’t cancel it and you still get charged.

    So the app for some reason doesn’t keep my appointments I set up on the day I set them for. Once I close the app it’s a gamble at best if I can see the appointments ever again. I set them up they show as set them close the app wait a day. Open the app to find the appointment isn’t the day I set it. Now it’s some other day month year no idea but if I can find it it has all the right info. Like my appointments for June 1st 2019 is on the calendar for some day in July no selected day but it shows all the appointments for June 1st 2019 at the bottom of the notes for July it even has the date of June 1st 2019. This app is horrible since the update. The only job it has to do is keep days and appointments straight but oh well let’s not do that.

    I have the same problem my partners have been added to my account and they can see nothing either. I think this is one of the worst apps I ever used.

    I purchased Work base starting in September of 2017. This was the worst purchase I have ever made. Constant bugs, my employees were not seeing chats, no notifications even though it was supposed to be there and many more problems. I have been trying to cancel it for several months now and it is impossible! They will not cancel it. There is no phone number to contact them. By email they just sent me a link to cancel my subscription through my iPhone. I didn’t purchase through my appleID. I did it on there website. If I log onto my profile online there is NO way to cancel. I can only make a new hub or change my info. This is ridiculous. I have paid $85 for months now for a program I cannot use. I did realize if I remove my employees from my hub it would reduce it to $29 so I have paid that for 2 months. I am so unhappy and do not like to leave bad reviews but I would like to prevent other small business owners from making the mistake of getting this app.

    0 stars!! I have been tying to cancel for over 2 months and our card keeps getting charged. There is no option on their website to cancel service. I have emailed multiple times and get no response!!!

    Looks like we are one of many having problems. Worked great for first couple of years now is broken and nobody will answer is. Currently paying almost $900/yr for large company with many members. Do not install!!

    Been using for a year. Loved it up until 3 weeks ago. My employees were not getting the schedule I was loading it ( missed appointments) and then the app said need reset password. I lost a years worth of work scheduling when entered new password. It has started doing it again- it is no longer working properly. I was very happy, now I’m very upset.

    Workbase has been a great app to use and has been helpful with my business. BUT at the end of the day it all comes down to customer service! This company has the WORST customer service. I have been trying to get ahold of them for weeks now because of problems with the app not working. We can’t even use it.. so it is a worthless product and now has effected my business in a negative way. We relied on Workbase to help with our business and now because of their inability to respond to numerous emails etc it has effected the performance of our company. Terrible customer service.

    This app has been buggy all year long. Tried reaching out to customer service and even cancelling the app.... I haven’t been contacted back at all, and I can’t figure out how to cancel it whatsoever. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’m paying $30 a month for a poor app and NO customer service.

    They will not answer my emails and just charged me over $250 for an unauthorized charge!! I did not agree to use another year and have been trying to cancel. Very disappointed! I am disputing with my credit card now... too bad because the product worked This was my first comment: i am so happy I finally got this tool for our shared massage space. The team of therapists and I can now communicate with one another about work related things, as well as book the room without having to go through me every time. It allows freedom and independence for the therapist to book their own session and make their own notes. My only critique for fixing something would be in the 'message' section.

    Like the app. Extremely poor customer service. Can't get anyone to call you back, don't respond to emails. No contact phone number info. And not easy to update billing info.

    The app works good. Easy for the whole team to use. The problem is trying to get a hold of anyone there to make account changes. They take a very long time to get back to you and when they do the changes end up wrong. Then another week or 2 goes by before getting a response from them. You'd think paying for their service would mean they want to respond and keep your business. Currently looking for something to replace Workbase.

    Update: When I go to purchase upgrade, it's declined 3 of my credit cards. My CC company says it's an unsupported currency. Useless if I can't purchase upgrade. Not a bad app. I run a team of 14 and this is a great team calendar that syncs perfectly to my iOS calendar. My issues are that it crashes every once in a while. Not too big of deal. The iPad version of the app is horrible. It won't rotate to portrait view. This makes it useless for me as my iPad Pro is always connected to a keyboard. I will increase my rating when those two items are fixed.

    This app is very easy to use so far it has worked very well and doing what we need it to do. I tried six other apps before this one and they were all hard to navigate through. This app is easy to edit and keeps a clear record of tasks and completion of task. I like the way the comment block is posted with each task and separate from chats. Very pleased so far we have the $23 monthly version.

    Simple and easy to use. Just wish trial period was longer so that you could really make sure it will fit needs. A little pricey when only needed for a few. There should be a price for smaller group. Allow more that 5 people. I like it over all.

    My small company has been using this app for 3 months now. It gets the job done but needs more improvements. First, when you get a notification then go to the app, it won't show you what the notification is for. Second, you can either tag no people, one person, or all people on Tasks. Need to be select each person to tag. But you can select multiple individuals on Calendar events. Third, need to have subtasks attached to tasks. But I'm happy with it if they show they are making improvements. I only pay $27+/- per month for scheduling all it's tough to complain too much!

    My small business has multiple programs and each program has a different schedule. This app has made keeping track of each schedule so much easier. It is simple to use and we have not had any problems with how the app functions. I like being able to pull up the information on my phone or on the website. It has been very helpful in keeping our managers from scheduling events at the same time. I am loving it!

    I'm seeing a lot of good reviews here and frankly that confuses me. I work for a small business of about 20 people and my boss uses this app for our weekly scheduling. It's the only app on my phone that regularly crashes (as in, I'll be trying to use it and the screen will go black) and even when it works it is slow. I'm one of the lucky ones, however, as at least 3 of my co-workers are unable to get the app to work at all. My boss had to change the way she was using it because Workbase would randomly erase data from the calendar. Everyone in the company hates using it but it's somewhere between hard and impossible to cancel a subscription early so we're all just stuck with it for now. Just don't use this app if you really need to count on it.

    A lot of times I would forget to pass the word on to my staff! Now no matter where I am or what time it is, I can pass it on!!! Great app!! Don't want to be without it again!

    We found this app, and it worked great for what we needed it for. However I didn't know that you had to pay a monthly subscription of minimum $29 a month to keep it. Only a 14 day free trial. A complete rip off.

    This app has been excellent. We have multiple employees at different locations every single day. There is no rhythm or pattern to it. Now everybody knows, the general vicinity of everybody else.I also really like to chat option, so if you have any questions about a specific event you can chat just at that event in a thread format similar to a social media post. Only involving the people that are involved with that event.

    Good concept - would have worked great for my social group to work out get-togethers, chat privately without Facebook — But $29/mo? Forget it. When I cancelled the group I created, I ended up signed on as my colleague as well. Not good. Plus there’s no way to cancel your account once you sign up, and no support links.

    Charge one time $10 and I will give 5 star. It is worth about $10.00. Let's be real. For $10.00 a lot of people would not pay but then a lot would. I see a lot of complaints about this app costing way to much so I suggest you charge $10 and you'll probably make a lot of sales. If you were to charge $10 I would give you a five star and I think most people would also

  • Just a little small detail missing

    For professional usage, this app is great. The only thing missing so far is the ability to click on the appointment address and pops up the maps to drive my team to the appointments. Besides that, I just cannot complain about the app. It sends a notification to the whole crew every time I schedule a new appointment and we get emails daily showing the agenda to the next day.

    Although this app has some nice features, it's not as useful as you would think. It is also not free, like it says. You can use it for free for less than a month and then have to pay an absurd amount to continue use. Very disappointed.

    Our small group got up and running using Workbase, which claimed to be free and says nowhere in the description that ANY level must be paid for - there is no basic, unpaid level as it seems. We are a non profit and don't have the budget for something like this. After two weeks of use they email you informing you the app is actually NOT free and to continue using we have to pay a monthly fee. SO tacky and wrong - a bait and switch, as the reviewer below said.

    I recommend to anyone who wants an app for sharing schedules and tasks, whether for work or family life. I only have the free version and am still very impressed with the freedom it gives you. The only adds I've seen in the free version are small banner adds at the top of the screen, never a full screen takeover or spamming from the company to buy the full version. The only reason I haven't given five stars is that the app occasionally crashes but only rarely. All in all one of my favorite apps which is a big deal considering I only have the free version.

    We use this for work and it has increased productivity and accountability. We have used other apps in the past, but Workbase unites us all to show what tasks have been completed.

    This is a bait and switch I signed up for it thinking the basic set up was free but then all of a sudden out of nowhere it says your trial is about to expire and that it's $30 a month for the basic and more for more users. $30-70 a month for an app is expensive, all it is basically a calendar and messaging that you could just share with Gmail calendar anyways but once you start getting your team using it makes you feel stuck. I like what it does and it is nicely put together I just don't like the presentation of how the $30 is brought up. Bad form.

    This app seemed promising but when I realized it was unnecessary for my business, I could not find a way to cancel my subscription. I’m currently throwing $14 dollars away each month. No one will email me back, the phone number on my bank statement is a bogus hotline posing as some card processor, and the website for workbase says nothing at all about how to cancel or even manage an account. I have an account log in through their site but it is a bare bones system of managing the account with no options to manage the payment for the account. When companies make it hard to cancel the subscription, I end up disliking the company as opposed to just canceling something I ended up not using. It’s not good for building a reputation if you ask me. I find it to be dubious and annoying. It doesn’t keep me from canceling my account ultimately because I will cancel even if I just have to call my bank to refuse the charges. “Offers In-App purchases” but no in-app cancelations. Good luck if you decide to buy this app but end up not using it or wanting to cancel you account. Had I been allowed to cancel my account easily already, I wouldn’t be here on iTunes writing a negative review. I would have already moved on with life and their reputation wouldn’t take the hit.

    This is only a brief 14d free trial, then the app is a minimum $49 per month for just 5 users - basic plan. That is a excessive given the great free app options like Producteev and Moxtra. However, I do like the apps sleek simple design, but it is not worth the excessive cost. I would definitely consider using Workbase if the monthly cost was more reasonable - like $10/mo total.

    We have struggled for years to find a decent way to communicate between field and office that is both easily manageable and not extremely expensive. The app is cheap for what you get - definitely worth it. My only wish would be if there was a way to track comments, appointments, etc per job. Like if we're searchable or another tab for adding projects or something. But for the price, it has helped us tremendously. Everyone can stay up-to-date on job status and schedule. It's easy to use activity feed helps our otherwise tech resistant employees communicate. We haven't really had to contact customer support so I can't speak to that... Occasionally the app crashes but it's usually very short lived and we are back to work.
