    Purchased to see the value of a vintage stuffed animal I found , and you need someone to pay more than 20$ a month to even get access to the most important part the value of the item on your app lol what a joke wish we could give zero stars for this money hungry none-sense

    I bought this subscription to look up rare items I couldn't find on ebay sold. I actually found more results on ebay sold than this database. I was looking up the Titanfall Steelbook which was exclusive to Germany. I've previously purchased this item on ebay so I thought it would show up. Didn't realize they don't keep international sales data. When I reached out to them for some help searching, they never contacted me back. I'm disappointed because some people on youtube recommended the subscription.

    I have encountered a problem where the prices for items are not displaying on the App. No problems on the website. I run the IOS app on my iPhone. This just started today. Also, I have asked before for the search box to display in bold face, larger type. It is extremely difficult to see what you are typing in the current configuration. Please correct these issues since I am paying a premium for your service.

    For the subscription price that they charge, a functioning app is the LEAST that they could provide. From the looks of it, they probably developed this in-house in an effort to save money. Is it worth it? Every single review hates the app. Just pay up for a decent app developer and then you’ll have happy customers. Let me share something with you, WorthPoint: if you can successfully bring your platform to mobile devices, the money you invested on real developers will look like nothing compared to the new revenue you’ll bring in. The world is mobile and you’re not getting there with an outdated app that never performs properly. No one under the age of 35 will be using your service if you don’t fix this.

    When the app gets fixed. It completely stopped working with the most recent update. Tried resetting my password but they don’t send the reset email! I’ll cancel my sub in a day if not fixed. Get to work worthpoint.

    First i signed up at the end of this month and the subscription said only good till end of this month. Does not appear that the monthly service range floats with the sign up date. Cannot get the program to let me log in on either my iphone or ipad keeps telling me “Error status code didnt fall within given range”. No help or contact information on the login screen so how am I suppose to get this issue resolved?

    I’ve been using this app daily with no issue, suddenly today it stopped working. Told me to update, directed me to App Store where there was no update just the open button. Deleted and reinstalled the app even. No luck, still saying to update and then I have no option to do so. All my apps are updated, I made sure of that. I’m going to cancel this because I need to use the app, I’m not going to use the website simply because your services are suddenly taking a crap, the whole point was the app.

    I find the site itself to be invaluable and use it frequently to research items that I’m evaluating for consignment and sale. Where my annoyance comes from is that whomever developed the site doesn’t have the foresight to allow for multiple users on the same account, so whenever one person is using the account and a second person logs in, the first person is booted from the site / app. This happens frequently when I’m out at clients’ homes researching items while my staff is back at the office researching items. I’ve written multiple times via the contact page at Worthpoint with barely any reply. It’s an idiotic feature to an otherwise fine service.

    I signed up for the 7 day free trial of the worthpoint value guide, and the.Worthpoint library. However upon entering my credit card information, and downloading the app, I went in to be told I could not see values. Only look up items to see if they were in there data system. That is false advertisement at best. I would like to go have my card not charged and my 7 day subscription fixed to include all of the services I was promised. I feel I should be given extra time on my free trial as well since I have been unable to use it for days now.

    I tried to create an account and it just keeps saying “error invalid id.” My email is valid and my password meets the security requirements and matches when retyped. Not sure why it’s giving me an error but I gave up. I notice the app has very poor reviews so must be some things wrong they need to fix to become more user friendly.

    I just tried signing up for a 7 day trial membership because based on mixed reviews, I’m uncertain about this service. It conveniently errored out, says I need to pay for the subscription in order to access. So where did my 7 day free trial go? I put in my cc # twice when it was erroring and saying there was no last name listed...and I’m hoping I’m not going to get billed multiple times. I’d like the free trial so I can test this.....

    Worthpoint app iterations always seem to be designed for the wrong users. Tiny search bars as an example. The whole point of the service is for the user to search for items. Create a large sticky search bar.

  • Latency and Memory Leaks Make Searches CRAWL

    UPDATE (11/17/2020) - Device is iPhone 10 current on IOS updates.. Based on my user experience.. within a week of submitting my review there was notable improvement on all system issues I reported. I’ve been using the app as much as if not more than before my 9/2 review because of this. I waited a couple months to see if the improvement would stay consistent to provide an update. It seems like app availability (app hanging without results) has also improved. Keep it up worthpoint. An app can never be too fast or efficient and striving for 99.9% availability will make your customers (the person who writes the check) very happy. Full stack development is my wheel house.. for what it’s “worth”. 9/2/2020 - I pay monthly for this app and am grateful for the information it provides. But I won’t be paying much longer if they continue to ignore unacceptable latent searches even as much as typing in the search box lagging behind.. this should be a non-issue if the app was architected right. FURTHERMORE it takes on average 3 searches without filters (time it takes to set those those just add to the frustration) for the app to crawl on navigation, data retrieval, and data entry. This is when I close the app and relaunch. They do have face sign on recognition which is awesome! Especially since I do this a lot... do some performance tuning Worthpoint. You charge plenty and should be providing a quality user experience in return. It’s been like this since I joined months ago so not introduced recently or new. I figured things would be fixed by now given how blatemtly poor the app performs. I don’t know if any other app out there that responds like this one does. This one is the worst when it comes to slllooowww user interaction.

    I’ve been a subscriber for about a year now mainly for the app access, which at its best performance is mediocre. Over the last week, it frequently stalls and quite simply can’t perform search. When you are typing the search terms, the keys literally freeze on the screen as if it it’s overloaded. Valuable information, but it’s impossible to access in its current state.

    I wish this app worked as well as their website did. Especially since I pay well to be a member of their site. I have reached out to them several times to report problems with the app and received slow and poor customer service. This app runs slow, even typing your item to search freezes and pauses. Often shuts down mid search. This is terribly inconvenient when I’m mid-auction bidding on something and trying to verify a value. Saved favorite items will disappear from my list, it will forget my saved log-in, and randomly closes out on its own with nearly every use. More functionality and service should be applied to their app service. It took over a week for my first email to get a response with very little remorse over my complaints and zero assistance with the problems. My responses to that email went unanswered until I resent them again and I was simply asked to uninstall/reinstall and make sure my phone was up-to-date on upgrades...Regardless that my prior emails mentioned doing all of the above already. Stuck between a rock and a hard place of needing this service, but about ready to tell them to cancel. Especially at $40 a month... very disappointing.

    I have to continuously delete the app and reapply for it to work better it keeps on freezing ??? been a customer for many many years it never happened we the old App I had wish I never updated to new Worthpoint app Please try to correct this problem I need a quick answer while picking at estate sales can’t wait for the delay with this app thank u

    The app can’t even keep up with my typing. If I’m working an auction or at a sale, the app functions so slowly that I’m sitting there waiting for something to happen way longer than I should. You guys have been around for years. You should be on top of this. I see that you’ve been telling people for months that your IT department is hard at work and you’ll probably tell me the same but nothing happens. I get the impression that you’re not interested in satisfying the customer.

    This app could be a fantastic thing. But for $24 a month? It is so slow, it lags tremendously, it usually takes me about 30-45 seconds to look an item up. And by that I mean just being able to type in the name and wait for the search to be complete. Try texting a two or three word sentence to somebody and have it take 45 seconds. Then you’ll understand the frustration. It’s drags, as I type the words get stuck. This is not a problem on any other platform but this one. It is such a headache. I really wish that they fixed it to where it worked faster!!

    So i download the app, want to get a “free taste “ as they are offering for seven days. Ok that sounds reasonable right? But it wants you to login in, to view prices??? I understand that it can get abused but come on for how much they are charging per month for using this app the developers should be able to limit that. I mean come on this is a worthLESS APP. How do you expect anyone to use this with out giving them a taste of what you have to offer????? So to get the login to view pricing you have to give them credit card info!🧐🤔anyone else smell SCAM???? DONT GET THIS APP!!! No wonder it’s got a 2 star rating!!!!

    This app constantly crashes and has other bugs. I saw it was just updated, so I gave it another try. It is just as bad as ever. I try to filter results by sale date, and the app crashes with no results shown. I have to delete the app and reload just to make it work again! Honestly, what good are the results if they don’t automatically start with the most recent sales? I am still using the service directly online instead. Why even bother having this embarrassment of an app?

    Continuously telling us you are fixing bugs, but you haven’t yet. Been frustrated with you guys for a while now. I’ve subscribed for a number of years, but I’m reevaluating the cost benefit, not to mention frustration. Same bugs as always, logs me out every time I close the app, app freezes, search function frequently doesn’t work AT ALL, when it does work I can only see a very small percentage of the results, and the longest running continuous issue of results that have absolutely nothing to do with my search. Create an action plan. Work your plan. Test your plan. Repeated failures? Fire people. Hire better people. Try again.

    Has not worked for more than a week. Search continually freezes. Called worthpoint: they told me to use worthpoint.com in lieu of the app. Worthpoint has continually gotten worse. Will search for an alternative.

    Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my iPhone X. I type in the search terms and wait, but the search function will not deploy. Just to make sure I’m not searching for a rare bird, I then search using a common word. Again, the search isn’t executed and no results are returned. App has worked fine for several years until now.

    The most annoying bug is that when I scroll through a search and get to the bottom all of a sudden the search results disappear and it says no results and I have to relaunch the search. I do almost all of my searches on the iPhone and love the service in general, but may have to cancel my subscription until the app gets updated.

    On top of all the numerous bugs like search results appearing then going away as ‘not found’ when you want to send feedback...the feeback for shows you a snail mail address and a fax number. The form is ‘to the right’ There is no right on a mobile screen. Horrid. Web app just as bad. By the way...a fax number? Seriously? Should I send a Telex instead? Pigeons?

    I have been using for over a year and the app constantly crashes or freezes. The price is not worth the frustration. I have seen no updates to attempt to fix it. It’s ok to use on PC, I have no problems. If your planning to use it on the go at a Flea Market or Thrift store to look up an items value, forget about this app.

    The app constantly logs me out. It will pull up Search results but then they disappear and the app tells you there are zero results. It will only show you 7 of the hundreds of search results that it find. I have to keep setting it to search titles only as it doesn’t save any of my settings. I use this app a lot. The new update has made it almost unusable. The old version had its flaws but at least it worked.

    After the latest update I’ve been experiencing several bugs that are becoming a real nuisance and really making me question if it’s worth the expensive subscription price I’m paying for this app. First of all, and most annoying, the app forgets my login info every time I exit the app so I have to log back in if I want to use it again, even if it’s only a few minutes later. Second, the search results show hundreds or even thousands of items found, but I’m only able to see/scroll through about 10 of them in some instances. Lastly, the app freezes on a regular basis when I try to scroll down too quickly. I use this app mainly at estate sales and I don’t see the point in paying this much if I can’t use it when I need it most. Please resolve the issues or I’ll have no other option but to end my subscription.

    The old app may have been clunky and outdated, but at least it worked. As a paying Worthpoint subscriber I expect to be able to access sold prices, but every time I leave this app and come back to it, it’s stopped showing sold prices. So I have to log out and log back in. Then it does it again 2 minutes later. Most recently searches have been returning no results when the exact same search 5 minutes before returned hundreds. And the sort functions don’t work. Super frustrating. You’d think with the prices subscribers pay for the service, Worthpoint could come out with an adequate app. I’d recommend using the browser version until they iron out the bugs in this “improved” app.
