Do not answer. A guy called me telling me there was suspicious activity on my Amazon account and asked me to download this app. I hung up based on the previous review. I called Amazon directly and they confirmed there was no suspicious activity.

I was contacted by an 800 number asking me to download this app. Luckily I saw the other reviews and the furthest I got was downloading the app. Thanks for the heads up in the reviews.

They called and said they were from apple and there had been a security breach on my iPhone, they had me download this app so they could screen record as they directed me through signing in my Apple ID etc and then wanted me to check all of my financial accounts. This was a red flag. I clicked on cash app and immediately closed out and told them my records were secure, they said well you only opened cash app and I said your only screen recording to steal my info and they hung up on me!! I don’t know why it says one star! Apple needs to remove this app! How do you report it????

I read the previous review as I was following the direction of the “agent from Apple”. When he started talking about the “hackers” getting into my bank account for $200, EXACTLY like the review said, and I started telling him off, CLICK - he disconnected the phone call!! 😡

They tried scamming my 75 year old godmother. If someone calls talking about your being hacked don’t listen.

Do not download this app if asked to do this with any customer service. It’s a scam. Do not give out information. Apple will never ask for your banking info or anything personal.

This is a tool like any other that can be used for good or bad reasons, as the developer says in the first line. Only use with people you know you can trust. Being an IT professional for more than 25 years. I can tell you I have used this tool to help others out of some bad PC issues. There was a time people had to pay triple for PC services than what I can provide remotely today and, in many cases, can get same day service. So please judge the tool and not the operator behind the tool. I like my customers' ease of connecting to me and assisting all my clients' mobile/tablets, PCS, and mac devices, even during off-hours with unattended access. For legal reasons, I can provide full session recordings of my operations if there is a concern with unattended abuse.

Received call that my amazon account had been breached Walked me almost all the way through setting up App and saw review on Scammers Hung up and call Amazon directly and they had no knowledge of anyone calling me about fraudulent charges TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!

This is used by hackers! Do not allow anyone via phone call have you click this app. They use it to view your screen as you login to your bank account. They will get all your information to include passwords. I almost found out the hard way. I hope this helps you.

This application is extensively used by scammers from India that called you saying that you have fraudulent Amazon or iCloud or Apple purchase never install the software and never give them any access or share your screen. Better yet curse them out with the best cursewords you ever know and hang up on them!

Called acting like apple and tried to hack phone and bank account info. Do not down load

THIS is a scam! Apple needs to remove this app from the app store. They will talk endlessly convincing you that your data has been compromised. I feel so stupid for being duped. But it doesn’t help that they use Apple’s own legitimate website to perpetrate the fraud.

Do not download this! An 800 number called me saying my Apple account was being hacked overseas. Told me to press one to speak to a rep. When the rep got on the phone he told me to download this app and then check my settings. It wasn’t until he said to check my bank account to see if there were any unauthorized transactions. So I went to check on a different device because something seemed off and he was yelling at me to look at my bank account through my phone. I asked why he was yelling at me and he goes if you don’t believe me then hang up. So I did. I right away called Apple and they said they never send calls , texts , or emails like that. Luckily he checked everything and since I didn’t provide him with any info I was safe.

They called me on the phone to say my iCloud account had been breached and that I needed to download this app to fix it. Looked on the internet and this is a scam!!!

Don’t trust them hang up immediately. They want to look at your bank accounts and your cash application. It’s a fraud. I hung up on them.

I received a call from them saying my I cloud was being hacked and they were trying to fix it , they had me download this app to look at my phone with me and them had me open my bank account , he then came back to the phone and asked me do I want a job part time I said no I’m not interested he said okay and ask can he put me on hold to talk to his supervisor, then proceeded to ask me to open up my camera so they can take a picture of my face and then put me on hold again came back and said bye now , I told them I was confused he said “ I see your account was negative “ you don’t have 200 dollars to keep the hackers away from your I cloud we will try to call back when you get paid to pay for it . I told them no I’m not paying them any money and he said okay bye TOTAL SCAMMERS .

A TOTAL SCAM SAYING THEY WERE APPLE CALLING AND NEEDED TO GET INTO YOUR APPLE ID. THEN ASKED TO OPEN YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS TO MAKE SURE YOUR PASSWORDS WERENT HACKED INTO!!!! TOTAL SCAM

Same thing happened to me. He told me I was going to be charged by Apple. When I asked why he hung up.

Got a call saying they were from Apple and someone was using my Apple ID to launder money (my caller I’d said it was a local number, the speaker had an Indian accent). They wanted me to go to my computer, when I said no I’ll use my phone, they wanted me to download this app. THANK YOU OTHER REVIEWER!!!

This app is routinely used by Indian scammers claiming to be from Apple support. It may have legitimate uses, but if someone calls you from Apple Support and ask you to download this app- then don’t go for their scam! Don’t use this app!

Received call claiming they were Apple and I had a security breach on my iCloud account. With an Indian accent, she asked me if I knew anyone in Dallas. Told me to download this app. I asked her how I new this was apple calling me. She gave some lengthy technical explanation. I read one review told her this was a scam and that she was going to ask money from me. She quickly hung up...

Got a call from “Amazon” about a bogus charge from Ohio. I’m not in Ohio. Can’t believe I fell for it. I’m so wary - I get calls like this all day 5-10 minimum. The guy told me to download this app so he could fix my “Hacker” problem. I deleted the app immediately once I caught on. Changed my bank info, canceled my card, changed my password for Amazon. I know better. But I’m very stressed out having neighbors needing CPR outside my window (he died) and others being taken away by ambulance. Sirens all day. I’m in a 55+ community. Besieged by scam calls. Just thoughts I’d let you know. I’d like advice on what data this person has of mine. Maybe a forewarning would help. Thank you.

Pretty sure scammers are using this app to get into your chase bank accounts. Be careful. App does seem to work well however.

If the person asking you to download this app called you directly claiming to be Apple Support without you requesting a call, HANG UP NOW. Apple will never call you first. I point blank asked “John” about the reviews claiming this app to be a scam. It got to the point of him asking me to purchase two google play cards in the amount of $100 each. Why would an Apple Support ask me to purchase google cards? Total scam. Be careful.

The app is great itself. But also wanted to share that it’s being used by scammers! Be extra careful and know who you are talking to only.

To everyone giving this app 1 star. It is not the apps nor the developers fault that you got scammed into installing this and allowing some to access your phone. On that note. The app works great I am able to direct my customers to install and get assistance on their iPhones. Really helps when a user is having a outlook issue or one drive issue.

Some Indian guy called me claiming to be Apple support and scammed me by using this app. Do not continue the call unless you prompted Apple to contact you beforehand.

Indian SCAM call centers will try and trick you into using this app, they will give you a “secure login code” to access your device, then they will STEAL all your private information and set a password to LOCKOUT your device. Then they will demand you send them MONEY in order to unlock your phone. DO’NT FALL FOR IT.
