    We purchased 6 flights for a family vacation and one of our son was not able to go so we were 2 weeks away from vacation so we decided to take one of our daughters friend so we called to change the name on ticket they said a fee would be associated we said fine they said 48 hours and they would let us know so we called back after 48 hours and no wait 48 hours so now we are 8 hours from departure and same thing the India call center can you wait 5 min while we look up your account every time you call they can’t help you it is pathetic I then call airlines and they say kiwi has not sent anything if I want to change name I need email that they used and last 4 of card and they will do it no problem but kiwi will not give that info do not use this company they don’t care about you bad bad bad customer service

    My wife booked flights in Israel through this app and it has been 2 days after they charged my card and everything still says pending despite it saying it should be confirmed in 24 hours. Customer Service is Nill. You call their number and get a robot prompt that ask for your confirm and I give that and it keeps saying please be patient we have a lot of calls but you will be addressed in24 hours and it says they can’t do anymore for you and the robot hangs up on you. So let’s end an email but there is no where to email except a chat box which is another robot with prompts that takes you through madness then it says someone will get with you in 24 hours but it has been 48 hours past and I still have received nothing by chat/email or phone calls or confirmation of my flights. I need to know am I on or off the plane leaving in 10 days but I get nothing. I booked Israir and frankly their contact info is also horrible to find a phone number or info in English to address my concern Very frustrating.

    Flights get cancelled regularly and they don’t refund. Don’t take your chances with it.

    Used to be great, now they’re a bunch of scam artists. You can only call them for help if your booking number shows your 2 weeks before your flight or 2 days after. Otherwise the automated message will refer you to their online support, which is useless since they don’t get back to you even months later. Out of frustration bought a ticket I don’t intend to use to get a real person on the phone. Paid $15 extra for guaranteed refund. Called to discuss my old much more expensive flight, and why I had still not received credit or a refund after 9 months. They were no help at all. Was then told it was also not possible to get a refund for the $60 dollar flight I had booked less than a half hour before. Out of their minds, which is a shame cause they used to be good. Go with a more trusted booking site or directly with the airline. Not worth the “savings.”

    Booked a flight in Nov that the airline canceled twice. Carrier offered immediate refund, but since I had purchased through Kiwi, instructed me that I had to go through them. NONE of my emails have received a response, and 5 months later I haven’t seen a dime of my original airfare. UPDATE: I was eventually contacted and did get my refund…far more painful than it should have been.

    I booked my flight on Frontier through Kiwi. The boarding pass stated the gate closes at 7:01 am and Departs at 7:16 am, Thursday. I arrived well before these times. When I got to security I was told to check in with the Frontier desk, when I did I was told my flight already left and that I could have another flight but I would have to pay for that and it departs Sunday, which I would not be able to make. I called frontier at 6:51 am (still before the gate was suppose to closes and the flight departure time) and was told to call Kiwi. Around 7:23 am and 7:24 am I get off the phone with Frontier and call Kiwi and am told I was late even though I arrived before the gate closes and departure time. I asked for a refund and was told there is nothing they can do. They also told the plane was on time and all the information was correct and I was late, however I was told by Frontier my flight had already left, which means there was a schedule change I was not noticed about. So Kiwi and or Frontier made a mistake in coordinating and scheduling and Kiwi is trying to pass the blame on to me. DO NOT USE THIS SEVICE, THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT HELP YOU.

    They never sent me my confirmation letter so I didn’t have a confirmation number to check in online. The app kept saying I needed to update my information. It wanted my passport number or government ID. I do not have a passport and in the United States we don’t have a government ID.

    A bunch of smoke 💨 this was one of the worse experience I’ve ever had to deal with. I bought a ticket for a good price but once they had me on the hook 🪝 I ended up paying triple that amount and every airline took turn ramming me with additional cost 💲.

    A fraud was carried out and the entire amount was transferred from the bank. How does the App Store allow this application? I tried to contact them, but they were completely ignored my messages even in Instagram , and the bank transaction amount 518€ on May 23, 2022 without collecting the tickets via by Name : ANABELL NGOHO TAMPUS ( philippine) the money amount 518€ for the round trip on Al Jazeera(Kuwait -Dubai) on 31/5/2022 Flight: 5j17 (Cebu Pacific) airline threw Kiwi .com 3:20 AM DUBAI To Manila Ninon Aquino CEBU PASIFIC airlines (Dubai -Manila) Wednesday Date 1/6/2022 Did not get any e-mail reply’s No booking number No trip reference or any other way of reply!!! Flight should be today on Tuesday 31/5/2022

    After confirming booking, Kiwi claimed carrier changes made flights unavailable and my only option was to pay an additional $98 to travel on already agreed flight dates. When I tried to request a refund, Kiwi repeatedly discouraged this by saying I could lose the $262 already spent and may only get a partial refund months down the line. Even though they changed my confirmed booking, I will lose my money or had to spend approximately $100 more on flights. Unacceptable service. Aside from above. After promising the lowest price for the tickets, Kiwi inundated me with add on purchases (flight insurance, luggage fees, bag tracking, bag insurance, Kiwi representation, and then tried to discourage low purchase ticket by saying its the worst option you should go with a Standard ticket for an additional almost $100 or their fully covered ticket at around $200 more. I don’t recommend Kiwi. I went to Orbitz and spent about the same without the headache from Kiwi. I even made changes to my Orbitz flight return without an additional fee. May cost more up front but I didn’t have to deal with all the hidden fees that Kiwi threw at me. I was able to travel via Orbitz confirmed booking itinerary without issue.

    If you make sure that absolutely everything works (get a covid test and the booster even if you’re not sure you need it) then kiwi works great. it gives you a timeline of exactly what to do, and it gives you the boarding pass before you even get to the airport, saving you a lot of time. overall it’s a good app, but as a site you just have to make certain that everything is in order.

    My flight was not booked after it was purchased and was missed. Had to buy a new flight, and customer service was not helpful. I was told it could take 2 months to receive a refund after a investigation. I will never use this app again (deleted).

    I’m still waiting to get my money back. I got tiket to fly 04/4/2020 and they cancel all for the pandemic but they say is going to return my money between 3 and 6 month latter. Today after 2 years I’m still waiting and tried to communicated with them but do not respond. Also I paid ensurance to cover if something happened “the ensurance cover all my money”. But nothing. I do not recommend this company.

    The app was ok, but the service is bad! First of all, the company is located in Brno, Czech Republic, so don’t expect American customer service standards. I paid $10 so I could text them if any issues happen to my tickets. Later the airlines changed my 8:30 am flight automatically to an unwanted time (5 am) because of cancellation of the 8:30 flight, I contacted kiwi to move my flights to a later time so I wouldn’t need to get up so early and hanging in airport for 7-8 hours for the layover. Kiwi refused to do so because “ it was a minor change”. I managed to call airlines myself and figured out the reservation code and made the change and informed kiwi. Rudely kiwi customer service personal threatened me that I lost their “guarantee” since I contacted airlines directly. Based on their behavior, I couldn’t think about any guarantee they could give. I deleted kiwi app after the trip. I may still use their search engine for flights in the future, but would buy tickets separately from airlines websites.

    Very ignorant. Very slow response. In-effective if there is an issue. First of all my birthdate was incorrect so I requested them to change that. They informed me that it needs to be 48 hours before the trip so I should go contact each airline service on my own to correct the birthdate info. Secondly on the ticket they told me that the bag allowance is 1 carryon 7kg only, to find out at the checkin that another checkin bag is allowed. When I contacted them they told me that it is not a complain case.

    We had family emergency booked last minute ticket. Now sitting at the airport due to travel restriction through Japan and Airline cannot provide the boarding pass. We have checked if we need visa for transiting 2 hrs in Narita airport Tokyo and their official website said not required. But at the airport agents said they cannot give us because of the restrictions. Now agents wont reroute us or refund us.

    NEVER USE this company! I purchased flights, I purchased insurance, and I purchased the Kiwi guarantee, I canceled the flight due to medical reasons, which is covered under the insurance, AXA is the insurance carrier it has been around 10 months and no one will return emails return phone calls or reach out in anyway, it is a complete loss, not only did I lose the flight money but I also paid extra for all the insurance.

    This company really “Nickel and dimes” you more than anything else I have used. In order to even get support, I would have to pay at least $20 extra. I had to get the cheapest flight available for an upcoming trip which was still not cheap at $1800 (both ways). My return flight has a connection in Japan and the first connection was moved 48 hours earlier. This meant I would have to pay $500 more to have a flight similar to the one I purchased or I would have to wait a total of 53 hours for my connection. Even worse, Japan is currently not allowing for the type of visa I would need for this layover making this connection legally impossible for me. Now the only option I have is to buy a new flight home.

    I paid $3200 for me and my kids to fly to Florida for spring break. Less than a week before we were to depart, Kiwi informed me that the round trip flights were cancelled by the airline. With the saver trip I booked, I understood if we were unable to go on the trip we’d be out of luck, but never did I expect to pay for a flight that didn’t exist. I browsed kiwi to see if we could rebook for anything, and somehow the budget airlines were thousands more than when I originally booked. I requested a refund and never heard any response. No response to customer service requests. Warnings all over the site saying they’re too busy to take calls. It doesn’t seem like there’s anyone running this scam of a company, they’re preying on families trying to trace on a budget and totally screwing over their customers. I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company and it was accepted, but then eventually kiwi fought it and I was recharged. Guess they have time to talk to the credit card companies to keep the money they stole from me.

    I deeply regret had booked a trip for my mother with this app. It was just a little bit cheaper - and the experience was terrible. No support at all, only a robot. They keep sending emails that the schedule’d changed, but when I look in the airline, there’s all the same. Kiwi has no customer support, no phone number. Just an option to buy another more expensive ticket. They didn’t book the whole trip with all connections as one thing. For some reason it didn’t showed up online some legs of the trip - and that’s very stressful. In short, never more I’m buying with and I don’t recommend.

    First I tried using the so called travel insurance. Every time I call and push 3 to file a claim I immediately get hung up on…so I’ve tried to work with…their email does NOT work. I’ve called about 6 times and STILL do not have a change in my flight!!! They keep telling my to clear cache, use a different browser, use a different card…DONE ALL OF THAT!! Tried clicking on the FREE flight change with ZERO luck. FINE…I tried paying for a flight different. AGAIN ZERO LUCK!!! This is beyond unacceptable!! I’ve gotten told multiple times I need to change everything online…FINE then get your site to WORK!!!! Now a flight I requested that would have only cost me $8+ to change has gone up to $80+ to change!!! If this does not get resolved my MONDAY I will be reporting to BBB and everyone who will listen. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I tried using the app, my phone, my computer…NOTHING is working and I fully feel that this is a SCAM to prevent people from changing flights even though they CLAIM it’s so easy!!

    When I downloaded this app I had a vary bad experiences flight two times. First time I booked from Saudi Arabia to Paris when i booked it it was from saudi to bahrein then Paris,but the airplane had to stop in germany for two hours to take passengers and i had to wait in the plane, and the worse part they did the same thing when i returned. The second time I booked from Saudi Arabia to manila and two weeks before the flight they told me the flight cancelled by the airlines, when i made a refund request they told me to wait after 11 months waiting they gave me ٤٨٨$ And I bought the ticket that time for ٧٤٣$ I will never use it again.

    Awful experience. I received an email saying Kiwi couldn’t check me in which is a normal practice. So I needed to check in with the airline directly. First of all I spent 40 minutes trying to find a number on my e ticket to check in on deltas website. Secondly I spent 20 minutes trying to contact someone from Kiwi because their website takes you back to your account when you press the button “Help”. At the end of the day I got told that I need to check-in in person. Not purchasing from Kiwi again.

    I’m a budget traveler, and always go with the least expensive route when it comes to flights, accepting that this can and may eventually bite me in the butt in some way, shape or form. Having said that, Kiwi seems to have the lowest prices for travel with the best flights that I can’t find on apps/sites that I’ve traditionally used. Additionally, their Nomad feature is awesome for someone like me who doesn’t necessarily know the best way to explore the world. More curated trips would be awesome!! I also like the fact that they check in for you, takes the hassle out of another task. For travelers who are on top of things and are looking to fly on the cheap, I feel like this is great.

    It’s taken me a few times to learn, and I’ve lost thousands of dollars, literally! There are refunds I have now been waiting on for over two years, they will charge you hundreds extra if there is an issue with the carrier, and you need to pay hundreds extra to get the Kiwi Guarantee, which actually does protect you from unforeseen changes or cancellations with your flight. At the end of the day, I understand the cheap ticket prices are very tempting, but in the end you will save money by booking with a dependable booking service or simply booking through the airline! Good luck out there!

    My flight was cancelled and it took 3 months for them to refund me a partial refund. Cannot access this refund and I still can’t find what it’s worth (max $1000 but I know it’s probably less than $500 given how horrible their services are). Truly horrific customer service AND app UI. If I try to contact service through the app, it logs me out and is basically impossible to do anything in the app

    Be sure you don’t make a mistake because it’ll end up costing you hundreds of dollars more than you anticipated with no hope of getting around their terms and conditions. Less than 30 seconds after I confirmed I could see that something was amiss and when I tried to contact them they were very clear that I had agreed even though it was a simple mistake less than 10 minutes after booking. Albeit hundreds of dollars wasted because of a simple mistake less than 30 seconds after flight confirmation. Even the airlines give you 24 hours, but this scam of a site offers some good deals for some but buyer beware because they are unrelentingly cruel when it comes to any user error

    I booked a trip from Madrid to Santorini with a layover in Rome. The flights were two separate companies. I got boarding pass for my trip from Madrid to Rome but when I landed I saw Kiwi was unable to check me into my other flight. I had a 4 hrs lay over so I called the company they said they were on it. An hour passing nothing, two hours nothing so I call again and they say the same thing. I then email them and message them on the app trying to figure out how to get on this plane. An hour before boarding I call and they tell me my case is “urgent”. Finally I find some flight attendants to help me check into my fight and guess what im not even on the flight. The plane is about to leave in 20 mins and there is nothing I can do to get on the flight. The next flight that leave is the next day at 6:30 AM. So as I watch my plane leave Im stranded in a country I don’t know with a language I don’t know with no place to stay and no idea what to do. I called Kiwi once more asking what I should do and they said they would email me with “options”. It’s been 6 hrs and Im still at the airport waiting these “options”.

    I bought my ticket through to get to BJX from AUS, and I paid an extra $50 in the Kiwi app, added to the ticket price total, to have my bag checked. Lo and behold, I get to the airport and United makes me pay to have my back checked. They had no record of my payment. This is fraud. I’ve already reported y’all to the airline. You either refund $50 to the American Express card number I used to make the payment, or I’m going to report the ENTIRE charge as fraudulent to my bank (all $350, because banks can’t distinguish partial fraudulent amounts from single charges). KIWI’s CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR WAS A BENEFIT TO ME 🤣🤣

    While on the trip my return flight was cancelled. The new airline kiwi booked me on charged an additional baggage fee but I assumed kiwi would cover this (just generally but I had also purchased the insurance just in case). The next day I called kiwi. 5 times I was hung up on by their customer service. I was always patient and polite while speaking to their representatives. At no time could I speak to anyone who could help me, and when asked if I could speak to someone higher up they told me there was no one available, that person was on a different call, or they would call me back (they never did). If I had an option on the rebooking for a flight that didn’t charge me for the baggage fee I would have taken it. No option was provided. My choices were leave my baggage in another country or pay the fee which kiwi won’t reimburse, again despite me paying for the insurance. Learn from my mistakes, stay away from kiwi for any trips or travel. The time you spend and the money that they take will not be worth the few dollars you save by using this service.

    Bought insurance through Kiwi and I had an emergency and they just threw me under the bus. Do not use these guys because if you will have some issue they will never refund your money back even if you have insurance.

    They say there’s a shot you could have problems with your flight the way they book secret fares. What they don’t tell you is that not only with you get grief from the airlines but they will straight up not let you fly your segments. Not only will you get stranded BUT Kiwi will do literally ZERO, NOTHING, to help you get home. No rebookings nothing. You legit have to buy a whole new ticket. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRAVEL COMPANY.

    This is the second time that they have completely stolen from me. My flight was cancelled by the airline and I was stuck in Mexico City for 2 extra days. After waiting 4 months they’ve said we are ineligible for a refund. This was cancelled by the airline, not by me, and they refuse to refund for a flight I was unable to take. This is the SECOND time they have done this, and I can’t believe I didn’t learn my lesson the first time. Use literally any other service or just buy from the airline directly.

    if you don’t pay for the insurance they purposely delay, ask for more money, and then return to delaying your flight. Please don’t get scammed

    Check on the web for reviews of this scam company (where they are around 1.4 out of 5) rather than rely on these BOT pumped up ratings. Once this company gets your money, they will NEVER give it back, even if they are in the wrong. Worst place to book a flight bar none.

    I bought tickets, then my flights were canceled, and KIWI never refund me anything. Customer service is a joke! No one will speak to you only robot! Alternative flight is a fake! They don’t offer anything! Don’t trust them!!! They even will send you a message that problem resolved- it’s not true! Absolutely my worst experience! I’m USA customer, don’t trust this KIWI!
