Gender should be included whenever a noun is introduced. It is vital for Norwegian. It seems that all feminine nouns are treated as masculine. While that is technically correct, that is not true for most Norwegians.

First off, the language I am trying to learn is so amazingly difficult so much so that most language programs don’t include it. Mondly has Latvian! Secondly, the app is simple and broad, easy to use and helpful. Would easily try to use this app for other languages as well.

I honestly think that the app is great. I’ve learned a lot and the pattern in wish it teaches me is amazing.

There is no way to cancel subscription. Good product but greedy to the max. Once you sign they will charge without you knowing. No stop button.

I am only using it for 2 days now and have no problems. It uses repetition with audio and pictures and I can redo lessons when I need to. A good language learning app. Addendum: I’ve been using this app for over 10 months now and it hasn’t given me any problems. I enjoy using it and I’ve learned a tremendous amount of vocabulary. I do feel some phrases taught are not practical. The daily lessons are motivating as I Like seeing that I have made daily progress.

The addition of speech recognition is huge and it seems there have been corrections made when developing this generic Mondly app. I am quite happy so far that I downloaded this newer version and I think the improved experience will likely keep me motivated to continue. For instance, previous language-specific versions (German, Persian) would give me a verbal or text prompt in English that did not match the displayed text, or was not what the app was expecting me to type in. This meant that in order to get the answer right I had to remember which phrases the app had mixed up. In German it was often Du/Sie (informal/formal “you”), in Persian it would be a different phrase/verb altogether. I have yet to run into such a situation with this newer generic app.

I like this app very interesting and easy to use.

Better than Duolingo.

Been using for 2 weeks now. The app itself is very easy and enjoyable to use. I like that each lesson has a speaking lesson to go with it. Also, you get to start learning phrases right away instead of just studying the alphabet first like in duolingo. Will have to get back to see if i actually learn the language!

I’m a very pleased how this app corrects my pronunciation and teaching mechanism. Daily planner is nice way to stay on top what you learned that day and continue practicing.

The app provides different ways for reinforcing phrases and vocabulary that help me remember and reinforce my learning. I feel like I’m making good progress.

Half the time it was telling me to put the wrong thing in. Ex: the sentence would be “my good” and would have me say “good morning” not only that, the voice feature is AWFUL. Would not pick up what I was saying even after close to 10 different tries. Worst experience I’ve had with a language app.

The app has a translation error in the verb to be in the past tense, it says that ( I was ) means Yo fui (I went ) , they made a mistake in the translation. I wanted to install it to practice a little English, I don't understand how it can have such a basic error. When you are learning, you cannot learn with mistakes.

I am an American and I’ve decided to learn Korean. Last time I used an app to learn another language was Babbel. I was learning Russian then, but it wanted me to pay to get more words. But this app feels right for me! It has been helping my pronunciation for Korean and my Korean speaking feels 90% fine! It’s a bit pricy, but still a good app!

I don’t want to sit and play with my phone. I want an app to teach me conversational Spanish while I’m doing chores or driving I would have more verbal lessons, but not so much picking out words And pictures.

Very good! Uses natural grammar constructions that I’m familiar with in languages I already know in Spanish, French, Mandarin and Russian. I don’t know about more niche languages though. It’s mostly good for vocabulary and practicing sentence structure. If you want to learn grammar, you should not use this app. Use it alongside other apps or a textbook.

Using for Lithuanian, one of the only good apps to learn Lithuanian effectively and efficiently!
