Energy is taken away into many ways. And it takes forever for the energy to refill. Usually i wait about eight hours for the energy to refill in other games but with this game I almost had wait almost a day and a half for the energy to refill back up. I like this game a lot and I would like to see this fixed.

It is impossible to do more than 2-3 actions without running out of ‘energy’. Your character needs this energy to do things but the energy takes about a day to fill. You can really only play every other day or so because of this. It is extremely aggravating and obviously just a way to get your money.

Just as I was getting involved trying to solve the game, it ended. I have played all the chapters, then finally, a new chapter, dancing with the beast open. There is no end??? Is that it? I cannot rate this chapter which is incomplete. FN😞

I was so frustrated with this game and always running out of energy that I just deleted it. Also, why do I have to sign in with Facebook? I just got rid of that and now you want me to get back into it? Sign In with Apple is there. That should be enough.

This game is very clever and fun. The only thing is, is energy is burned through fast and generate extremely slow. I get the game maker make money though app purchases but dannng are they greedy.

Great game I just gave it such a low review because doing one little action requires so much energy I can literally only play for 10 mins at a time without having to buy energy.

Ok, the best game I’ve ever played on the App Store. But ITS SO HARD TO PLAY!! Every little action requires energy, and every actions energy varies from 5-30 energies. And the energy replenish time takes FOREVER. It would be easier to play the game if they offered free ways to earn energy like ads for example. I usually hate watching ads, but I wouldn’t mind for this game. Once you get past the initial stage of the game, you can only play for like 2 minutes without not having enough energy to continue. Totally ruins the entire game 🙁

The game itself is awesome! However you use wayyyy too much energy for things you didn’t even know you were using it on. It’s way too expensive to pay for energy just to have a min or so of game play... wish they would release an update and make energy gain quicker

Game has great graphics and a wonderful story line but you can only play a couple scenes before you run out of energy. It also takes a full day to complete restore your energy or you can buy it which isn’t worth the cost!

Fun game, but the energy mechanics is too greedy

Game is fun, but it is built for you to continually have to buy life. Cannot play more than about 30 minutes without life energy expiring. Then it takes about 30 hours for energy to completely restore.

Just charge money upfront to buy the game instead of allowing energy to drain so fast and then literally a day and a half to rebuild. Then when you have energy back you only get to play like 5 minutes before you’re out again. So dumb. The game itself is actually great, but not all of us are wealthy with a gaming addiction strong enough to pay for extra energy. Unfortunately I won’t be able to rate the game higher until this changes. MAJOR drawback

Love the engaging storylines Several glitches have caused loss of objects as well as loss of energy gained from watching ads. But the latest glitch has me stuck and unable to progress. Played an ad to get more energy for a cutscene, game crashed. Restart the game and Anna is in the hallway of the jail but the cell that was opened just before the cutscene is closed and no sign of Luigi who was about to enter the cell. Cant find him or any other major characters anywhere in the whole town Apparently there is no way to reset the current story from its beginning which would be an acceptable workaround

Enjoy this game and it’s puzzles with interesting storylines. Have finished all available chapters at this time and even when offloaded it takes about 2.5 GIGABYTES of space on phone and iCloud! Please change this and compress the data like other more complicated games do.

I genuinely like this game. It’s like in a murder mystery show. My problem with it is that every move you make takes energy. And, unless you’re willing to pay for it, you have to wait over a day for you energy to replenish. You can use the “collectibles” you find. But, they’re hard to find.

Love this game but I agree with previous reviews saying that energy is used for EVERYTHING and makes it almost impossible even to finish a task or mini game unless you have 200 energy. I had 62 energy and got halfway through a search and it said I didn’t have enough energy to complete so I had to come back. I looked at how long it takes to gain energy and you get one energy per EIGHT minutes. So by morning you only have about 60. Very frustrating. But I must say it’s the best detective game I have downloaded. I love it, if only they would fix the issue of the energy so you can play for longer than five minutes at a time.

I got this game a few months ago and just finished all of chapter two, and the game is incredible! Although, I am not patient, so I spent probably over 100$ on the game. I regret nothing. It’s not even my money. Uh, anyways... Props to everybody who worked on the game, and I can’t wait for chapter three! P.S. Make it soon I’m not patient.

The energy drain has taken what might have been a good game and sucked the fun out of it. The sad part is that I would have paid for the game and probably paid for an upgrade or two along the way. The developers could make a fortune, but for less than 5 min of playing time per day and the outrageous cost for a tiny bit of energy, I’ll move on to something else. Poor business model.

Other than the massive use of energy and the painfully slow regen of it, the “Watch a video for 10” does not work. 9 out of 10 times the game freezes and you have to “kill” it. Zero rewards. The remaining 1 out of 10 is a crap shoot. You might get 10 or absolutely nothing.

Love the game but takes over 24 hrs to build your energy up and you literally have to use energy for every single little thing. So my interest is fading dues to the fact I can’t just play and enjoy it. I have to stop constantly to let energy build then maybe I can do something

The app needs a serious update. First of all the app closes while playing or will sit there on the opening screen forever. Since the last update now you can’t watch a video for 20 energy now it only gives you 10 and then freezes during so basically you will never finish a level unless you have no life. I waited 14 hours and had just enough energy to finish one puzzle. They are either trying to make long time players mad or force you to purchase energy, which will never happen. Sorry

Pros: nice art work, intriguing story Cons: the length of time it takes to generate energy ( sorry not all of us have buckets of cash lying around to buy it especially not atm thanks COVID), the amount of energy it takes to do a task, art work (it’s so detailed and when playing on the phone it is really hard to see- forced to take glasses off to view the objects in the hidden puzzles)

This game is great I love it to a point. It’s greatly design and developed and is actually interesting to play. My main problem is the energy. You run out really fast just doing small things. and and when earning them through the achievements isn’t enough it’s a tiny amount. It takes 26 hours for it to rebuild which is way to slow. You shouldn’t run out of energy that fast and you shouldn’t have to wait 26 hours to play again just to play for two minutes. People should not have to throw money into a game for it To last two minutes or less!

Definitely the best game visually. The puzzles are fun and I love the hidden games. And the suspense it great, But the energy needed for every level is crazy. I don’t want to spend money but I’m ready to give up on the game. U need energy to do everything and it runs low fast. Wish they would make it a little easier to get energy that’s the only downside of the game. 🤬🤬

The energy requirements in this game are ridiculous. I’ve never seen a game where you have to use energy for every hidden object in a search scene. And not just energy, but 5 energy per object! You can play one hidden object scene and deplete all of your energy! Uninstalling now.

Great game but you can’t play for very long because your energy is gone.... I played this before and deleted the game for the same reason. I thought I would try it again but nothing has changed.... I can play for about 10 minutes a day.... it takes way too long to get full energy.... other games I play are usually restored within a couple hours.... this takes more than 24 hours to restore to full energy. Not worth the money to buy more....

Where do I even start!? The graphics are amazing, the story line is suspenseful (but doesn’t drive you crazy). It isn’t too easy and yet not almost impossible. Unlike most of these type of games, everything you do actually makes sense, from what your doing to how your doing it. And in this game, you aren’t alone. The other characters have a real part in the story. And the time period its set in really adds that extra touch! This game is also add free (and I mean completely free) how great is that!!! And I also love that you play as a woman instead of a man. This game has never been boring for me! The only thing is I wish it had a few more chapters in it and Anna (the character that you play as in the game) use to have long hair instead of short. I think she looked a lot better with long hair. Plus if you do make any more chapters, I would recommend some of the characters have dogs or cats or something (maybe name some of the character’s pets after your own). And for everyone who is working on this game, keep up the good work! Stay safe and healthy during the pandemic! 😍

Love the game. Good story lines and graphics. Energy goes quick. Calibration is off often when handing people items. Gets frustrating lol 😕

I love this game. The only sad thing is, is that I’m stuck on a chapter and it won’t let me move on I’m stuck on a certain level and will not let me move on it just keeps saying the same thing. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong or the game is just frozen. I do really love the game!!

Love the game but hate the fact that you need to wait for energy. Wish they had a payable version of the game.

I really liked this game for the week or so that I played it, but ultimately ended up deleting it due to its money grab business plan. I can’t play this game more than a few minutes at a time without needing to get more energy. I made the mistake of buying 300 energy credits and those were gone in less than an hour of gameplay. Then I had to wait for hours on end in order for my energy to get high enough to play for 10 minutes or so. This is crazy. As much as I liked this game, I’m not looking to have to spend money on a daily basis just to play the game. I like it, but not that much. That is what turned me off about this game and why I deleted it and why I am leaving this review. I would be willing to pay $4.99 or so to purchase the app for continuous play but as the game currently exists, it would be taking up any more space on my phone.

I’ve seen ads for this game and I was enjoying it quite a bit but it’s completely obnoxious to wait over 24 hours to get energy to play this game. I won’t invest more time into this. It’s discouraging to want to play and to be into the storyline and bam you’re out of energy. There’s no way to avoid the energy issue either. I could understand if there was the option of a free game or a game you pay for. Like the free game can have the energy issue and the paid game can just play?? I would gladly buy the game without the energy requirements. Hopefully this is addressed at some point but I doubt it will be because 2 years ago this was also an issue.

I would rather pay $ up front for unlimited energy points to complete this otherwise beautiful and fun game. Unplayable because of the energy scale.

The game itself is awesome, but with most expensive package of energy you play several hours. This is ridiculous. It has to consume less energy for each tap, otherwise makes no sense to play it. Energy cost and consumption is so expensive it makes this game bad.

I enjoy the story and animation but, when I try to reload more time to play more the video reload hangs up and I can’t play any longer, period. It doesn’t matter if I want t9 purchase time or close the app. Nothing. Please fix this. I have no choice but to delete this game. Too bad.

Like many others here, I love the game. It’s beautiful and challenging and full of intrigue. HOWEVER, the energy system is ridiculous. I can play for about 5 minutes a day for free because of how quickly the energy runs out. I’d consider buying energy, but it’s way too expensive for how little you get. The app developers would be wise to listen to the reviewers - they would likely make more money if the game was more playable. As it stands, it’s infuriating. I’d be delighted if the energy system was more balanced and the cost of energy was more reasonable.

I like the game very much but I wish her energy came back more quickly.

Minimal amount of energy given and in order to play for any length of time you have to purchase energy.

Great game except that it has been stuck on a bug for so long that I just check back once a month or so to see if it’s been fixed, which it never has been. Chapter 3, taking a crowbar to the cabin door and... nothing. It’s supposed to break the wooden panels off, but just stays there.

I really like this game- graphics are awesome, the mini games and story are great- but why does it take over a day to rebuild your energy. And there are things in the game that take a ridiculous amount of energy. Like literally watching a story...is there a way to skip it? That would be awesome. I gotten on again after pretty much forgetting about it after a day with full energy- to get stuck watching a story and losing almost half the energy bar...that’s the biggest issue...other than that great game-if I could play it for more than 3 minutes a day.

The game itself is interesting enough, but every activity requires energy and energy takes forever to build up. And they really nickel-and-dime you with the gameplay, too. I finally quit the game after a day of play when I could finish a "find the object" game because EVERY INDIVIDUAL ITEM required five energy to click! Not worth my time.

Great game but the sound went missing

The energy didn’t use to take this long to reset. I last played 24 hours ago and still don’t have full energy. Ridiculous. Everything you do uses energy and it runs out way to quick. You only allow 1 “free” energy use.

Great story line, always a way to continue by either waiting for energy to regenerate or watch ads to earn energy more quickly. Unfortunately, the game sometimes tends to not give rewards for watching the ads and seems to get stuck. Otherwise, the game is excellent. If the developers can fix those small (annoying) glitches, I would bump up my rating to 5 stars.

I really enjoy this game, excellent story lines and graphics plus it is laid out in a great fashion. The downside is the amount of energy required complete the various puzzles and hidden object scenes. There is the option to get free energy from watching ads. I don’t mind doing that but noticed after this most recent update that the ads only give 10 energy as opposed to the 20 it used to give. Major bummer. Plus, some of these ads have a conflict with the game.... the people that make merge mansion especially. Anytime that companies ads play it freezes the game and I have to restart my iPad. Extremely frustrating. This has been a problem for as long as I’ve been playing this game. Nordcurrent really need to address that issue. If you’re gonna force users to watch ads to get energy then it needs to function seamlessly. I hope that gets addressed in the near future.
