    I called the help line to ask if cars have child seats and how I can find a car with child seat. The lady said there should be a filter for child seats, but this is not visible in my app. I confirmed that I have the most up-to-date version. I assume the version from the German app store that she was referring to might be different. Without car seat this service is useless for us and I regret taking the time to sign up.

    I want to preface this by saying that if I was leaving a review for ShareNow based on in-city trips, it would be higher! I am not normally one to write a bad review but my experience recently was unfortunately pretty bad. We rented a car to take a day trip to a neighboring country. Easy enough, right? Not the case for us. Now, to be fair, I didn’t know a TON about electric vehicle rentals. So part of this is on me. But 7 charging stations later, in a different country, with a charging card that didn’t work was less than ideal. I may or may not have had a breakdown in an Albert Heijn parking lot after the 5th attempt at charging it. Made it to our destination and found a plug; charged it using an app I had downloaded and my own credit card (totally fine). 6 hours later we return to the car to take the 3 hour drive back. The car won’t start. It keeps telling me to put the key in the center console. I had seen this before so I attempted to get out of the car, lock it, unlock it and get back in. Nothing. Tried looking in the app; nothing. It wasn’t showing that the engine was deactivated (which is normally the issue). And then, on top of that, it showed me that my account had been suspended. So I’m stuck in a foreign country, at night, with a car that won’t start and an app telling me I’ve been suspended. I sat there for 5-10 more minutes and tried again - the engine started. Don’t know why but thank goodness it did. Probably something that updated in the app. I got back last night and checked my account this morning. Still showing as suspended. Reached out to customer service, who told me I stopped over at a harbour that was violating the Terms & Conditions (?!). Not only did I not stop at any harbour; if it’s showing I did pull off the freeway in that area, it was to charge the car for the 100000th time. No sight-seeing or business at any harbour - I assure you. Again, if you’re using ShareNow for in the city, it’s fantastic. But do not rent it if you’re going anywhere outside of the normal safe zones that ShareNow has put in place. I should have taken my almost 200 euro and just rented a car through a car rental company.

    ShareNow is struggling to integrate the DriveNow and Cars2Go. Password no longer works, Reset function does not work. A shame this has always been the best choice for mobility in Berlin. Unfortunately, I had to go do too many taxi fares as a result. My expense report will be huge!

    I have never used this company or it’s service and they are sending me emails talking about I owe them $5.37. WTH this has to be a scam to get people’s personal information. I am filing a complaint with the FTC for scam and fraud.

    Sent my account to collections without ever notifying me that my payment information didn’t work. Would be happy to pay them $25 if they’d let me know. Now I have a nightmare situation trying to communicate with their non-existent customer service just to find someone who will accept my $25 payment.

    If you had stayed in the US instead of leaving right before the pandemic hit you’d be cleaning up right now. Do you have any idea how many people would rather use your cars rather than a train? Wish you had stayed.

    You need a fiscal code to use it. Which non Italians don’t have. There is no help in the app or the website to help. Completely useless to travelers or non Italian citizens

    Just...no! If you already have a copy (front & back) of a valid drivers license there is absolutely NO reason to require scanning your customers faces and harvesting (selling) their biometric data. NONE. Customer beware: The customer service here in Germany will make you promises and deliver on nothing. Billing error? Your problem. App error? Your problem. Overcharged for fictive trips? You will never ever get your money back.

    They do not accept drivers license from outside EU, so if this is relevant for you choose another provider - all other car sharing apps in Hungary accept non-EU license as well as all legacy car rental companies

    Please be aware that this is available in Europe only. Although the copy in the app info and online says you can get a car in North America in less than 30 minutes. Also your picture of your ID will be sent to a company in India and has not been verified in over a week. Seems to be a shell of a company now (at least for NA users)

    I’ve been trying to fix my billing issues since OCTOBER 2019. It is now JUNE 2020. They reply to about one in 10 of my emails, if that. They repeatedly say I have an outstanding balance, I endlessly give them my credit card info, which hasn’t changed at all, and the I don’t hear back from them. I email and call them another 10 times and they eventually tell me my payment is declined. Call my bank every time and they tell me ShareNow hasn’t even attempted charges in my account and that nothing was declined. When you call them the phone support people are basically like “yeah this is actual hell for us too, honestly we don’t know why no one emails you back” and are totally powerless to do anything other than take my credit card info AGAIN and say they will make the charge to clear my account, which never happens. At this point I can’t WAIT until they do something like send my account to collections, when I will get to forward my absolutely ridiculous email chains with them to a lawyer. I have seriously never experienced anything like this!!!!!!

    I received this text from 990-33 : “ Hi Troy, a new device named Mozilla on Windows XP just logged into your SHARE NOW account. If this wasn't you, please change your password to protect your account. You can always report any suspicious activities on your account at 877-488-4224.” I did have. CAR2GO account a long time ago but haven’t use it for a long time. Website was no help, app was no help. Phone number is a joke. That’s why I’m here. Because there was no other way to get real help other than emailing them directly but after everything I didn’t even feel comfortable doing that.

    They have the worst customer service. Apparently, they could not verify my drivers US drivers license. When clearly in the app says you can add an international drivers license. Very disappointed with the service.

    Regrettably, I’m not a fan of the new app. - The Bluetooth connection to unlock and lock the doors often fails, requiring me to exit and relaunch the app: - The rental timer starts when the doors are unlocked! With Drive-Now, the clock only started once “Start Rental” was used. “Unlock doors” was a separate function. This gave grace time to get in the car, adjust mirrors, place bags in the trunk, put the seatbelt on, etc. - Face recognition doesn’t work on my iPhone (XR). Having said that, the map is more user friendly. All the same, I’m frustrated!

    Since they ceased operating in North America, I emailed support to request closing my account. To my surprise, the agent responding said I had an outstanding balance, and that it might be sent to collections. This showed up nowhere on my account or in the app. But I also hadn’t used the service in months - so anything is possible. I responded requesting an invoice and a way to remit payment, and am anxiously waiting to hear back. I called the phone number in the agent’s email signature and was greeted with a message saying the phone number was no longer active. Great, so I can’t just call up to settle my balance either. I desperately hope their email support gets back to me before they decide to send a very small balance to a collections agency.

    Maaaan. You should do a better job at doing background checks and enforcing your rules. I know people will agree with me if I say all benz and smart cars in the area smells like weed and one time. I rode this car so filthy it have weed ashes cigarette butts, personal stuff inside the car. I hope they recquire you to take pictures at the beginning and end of each trip. And charge those people who trash and smoke in these cars.

    Used to be very good, both Car2go and reach now we’re super convenient on their own, then merged and somehow got exponentially worse. I used car2go and reach years ago when it first came out and I loved it, now it’s in a steady decline. Wouldent recommend, plus I heard they’re shutting down anyway.

    I was a big proponent of car2go for several years, renting in many cities between the US and Canada. Unfortunately the company’s strengths are turning to total weakness. They are unable to resolve the constant unresolved. I’m struggling to stay loyal to a brand and service provider which is no longer loyal to their own execution of service. What happened them?

    I used car2go for months. I spent more than $2,000 for personal and business trips over a span of 2 months. There was a complication over a $30 charge and NOTHING was done. I called numerous times, emailed numerous times and nothing was ever settled. I will never recommend this app or service to anyone.

    I take these cars to go one of two places: to a friends house, or to my boyfriends house. Both are 20 minute drives. After ending my rental on 1/1/2020, the car continued to charge me per minute for an additional 20 minutes. Share Now says there’s no way this could happen because “the rental stops 25 seconds after you return the key”. I have *never* had a rental automatically stop, i have always had to go into the app to stop the rental. All of my other rides are less than 30 minutes so how could this one be 50? The start and end points are the same as every other time i take a car to my boyfriends house. Terrible customer service, plus now that it’s Share Now they nickel and one you with fees on top of their promoted rates.

    When I was in Seattle I used their service and although I found Car2Go and ReachNow (before it became ShareNow for both) to be no different in price I find Car2Go to be a little better with their pricing and rate structure. Car2Go tends to have a larger fleet in the Seattle area compared to ReachNow. ShareNow will be quitting out of the United States and Canada markets in 2/2020, and the fact our infrastructure doesn’t make business sense for them really blows. Getaround and Turo are not quite replacements because you’re using someone else’s car.

    Share now is shutting down in North America Feb 2020. I’ve been with them in the NYC area since they began. It was rocky at the start but they have been a very valuable service to me and many many others. I wish they could continue to be viable here in America but it looks like our infrastructure simply can’t support such a system. That says a lot more about this land than it does about this company. Either way, I wish Share Now the best and I hope you guys can one day return.

    I had so much issues with this new app “share now” car2go was so much better .... I have a outstanding balance that I own them money and they have not taken the money out of my account yet ,this company owns me a refund and I have not received it yet because of the outstanding balance that I own but at the same time they don’t want to take the money out of my account so I can receive my refund ..... terrible service I don’t recommend this to anyone they will take your money and freeze your account

    The first time I used the app was also the last time I would use it. When I called for help about a car that wouldn't start, the person on the phone sounded frustrated and upset. He asked me to end/start the car again as if it was a new trip, when I did, it worked. I asked if this new trip would be credited because it was done to troubleshoot, he said that it wouldn't because I didn't call earlier. His tone was unwelcoming and blaming. I am not interested in being their customer anymore. I have cancelled my account because of the awful first experience.

    I want everyone to see this BAD review. It was a lot better when it was car2go, it hasn’t been a month yet and I hate it. Car2go would include your total trip price plus $1 extra for their trip fee and then your taxes. If you made a complaint even in the app they would adjust the credit. With Sharenow, packages up to 1 day or longer charge for the trips included price, PLUS EXTRA (0.19) for miles, taxes and fees. They do not respond to your app reviews or adjust your account, you literally have to call in or send a direct email to be heard. Most cars I get are dirty, brakes are loose, or the engine is Rocky. The Mercedes are a bit better than the standard fleet cars, but are still dirty when you get them. Cleaning up after other people every time cuts into the time you have to enjoy the car. These car sharing companies come into big city and think of how to profit off of the people in the biggest way possible. I’ve spent thousands with this company and come to the realization that it’s just cheaper for me to purchase my own car. I also requested a refund for extra charges before, I was told I would receive about $13 for the refund and my account literally reflected $2 for a refund. I didn’t even argue anymore. The price for a car note, insurance, gas, and parking would still come out cheaper than Scam now.

    I’m not sure what ever happened to what seems like a cool idea. During a recent trip to Seattle, a car share seemed like a fantastic way to get around. It would have been. But, after submitting my license and paying to get it checked (twice!)......nothing ever happened. The app still won’t accept a credit card, and every time I enter one, it charges me another $20 to check my (spotless) driving record. Support was totally unhelpful. I wish this $40 lesson would have actually done what it advertised......I really wanted to be a customer. Rented from Enterprise. 🤨

    I had car2go and really enjoyed it. Recently they merged with Sharenow and it really went downhill. I had changed my license so I updated it and for some reason my account was suspended. I emailed customer service twice and nothing. Then I called and the guy assured me it was something on their end and that my account would be reset. It is so disorganized and they are not on top of anything. There are better rental car services.

    They charged me 2x $10 without using their service. I was told a charge from a ride Months ago did not go through .. They never reached back to me, never bothered to send an email witch I presume they will do if a charge doesn’t go through.. The whole situation is being handled as if it’s a scam. Amateurs!!

    Their system cannot handle your credit card expiring and requires you call them to update as well as wait 2-5 business days for it to resolve. Something is wrong on their end and I had to call 3 times with no resolution but try again. My account is on hold and the customer service does not escalate to their management when asked. This service lacks common functionality you need to run a digital first business and will fail on this merit alone.

    Everything was working as expected with the occasional lag in sending the unlock code. Recently I had a pay issue with a good credit card on file and had to call outsourced customer service. It was a terrible experience that did nothing to resolve the issue in a timely manner. I was told escalating to a manager would take 2 hours! Unacceptable. The app would be useless until a payment clears in 2-3 business days. This is incredibly inconvenient and inefficient and renders the business model of the app/company useless in my opinion. As of writing this review, my issue is still not resolved after 2 calls and an email. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Would any other rental company let you drive a broken car then refuse to provide any price accommodation? The steering system was broken and the wheel had to be turned to the left to drive straight. Reported it on the app and it was still able to be rented after reporting. Be safe using the cars in Seattle. They are not concerned about safety.

    Before the merge into being Share Now instead of Car2Go this app would’ve gotten a solid 4.5 from me. I used this app religiously as a chance to indulge in an “escape” from the stress of public transportation. To make a long story shorter: because of vehicle and network issues with the trip I originally started (the car never unlocked after I had first been able to reserved it and after the trip had said it was starting) I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with customer care and was told I wouldn’t be charged for that trip and that they issue a 10.00 rental credit to my account in the app. I explicitly asked if that credit could be used toward the car the representative on the phone had setup AND whether I’d be charged for ending the original trip that was connected to a defective vehicle. The representative told me “No, you will not be charged for the trip if you end it and start a new one. And then it will be available towards your NEXT trip” I did as I was instructed, after FINALLY getting into a car and finishing my trip I realized my trip credit wasn’t showing up in the app so I called to resolve the issue. TWO different reps treated me like con artist and a scammer because I simply asked why the credit hadn’t shown up yet if maybe it takes a certain amount of time before it posts to the account in the app. TODAY I realize my bank account was charged $44.59 and again $32.50 one for a 3hr trip rental YOUR APP wouldn’t let me complete. On top of the fact that after all of this PLUS having spent hours on the phone with customer support just to have been directly lied to by the first and then treated like a criminal by two others. It’s very unfortunate that I can no longer support this service. Car2Go was better off before it merged and was taken over by a company that doesn’t care about its customers.
