    What’s the point of making the app when I have to end up using the website to do all the things? I feel like the app still has bugs and some stuff don’t show up. When I tried to check in, I had a “sorry something went wrong” error

    Seriously, non-existent. It’s not that their customer service is bad, it’s that they DO NOT HAVE customer service. My name is incorrect in some parts of their system. I’ve been trying for two weeks (via web form, chat, and phone calls where I waited on hold for 2+ hours) and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get any help. Singapore Airlines sells tickets and they have nice people staffing the ticket counter at the airport, but in between those two things is absolutely nothing. Now my flight is tomorrow, I’m unable to complete the online check-in, and I have no way of contacting anyone to fix this problem. I will never fly with this airline again.

    really frustrating to use - as reported by other users, it’s very buggy. Good luck searching for flights and booking through this thing. Good luck trying to figure out how many reward points a flight costs. Save yourself from frustration and go another route.

    To whoever wants to read this: Singapore Airlines website, app, customer service, technology in whole are absolutely terrible. I truly do not even know where to begin on how frustratingly difficult it is to accomplish simple tasks like booking a flight. I tried to book on the website which did not work because there are continue buttons that do not work with no explanation why. So, I try the app and get to the payment option which did not work for my visa or Amex. So I try to Chat with Kris which gives me the message that I need to call Customer Service. I call customer service and the automated message tells me the hold is over an hour because of the pandemic and to chat with Kris. I don’t have enough expletives to describe how bad this experience was. Dear SIA - I hope you get your customer experience together. It is complete trash.

    False advertising on deals, sign ups and more. Cannot get Into contact with anyone. 15 day responses to emails and 3 day responses by phone is not acceptable when booking travel accommodations. Overall poor customer service and difficult processes that waste time and do not result in promised deals.

    FaceID login mostly doesn’t work, and the app constantly logs me out. The app was essentially unusable for my recent flights. Trying to log back in proved futile most times as well. I really hope you fix this before my return flights in January.

    When you try to check in on your ticket it doesn’t successfully log you in. The login goes through the motions but doesn’t actually log you in.

    I have given the app this rating for one simple reason I cannot sign in ! I have changed my password etc 3 times and have no problem logging in online Furthermore there is no actual app support on the website !

    I flew Singapore Airline for the first time from Seattle to Asia in Feb 2020, I am very impressed with all the functionality of the app. From seat map, meal ordering, checking in, it has everything you need and is easy to use and navigate.

    This version of the SQ app has some wonky functionality. For example, during check in you can only edit frequent flyer info after you have checked in - not with the passenger information as you would expect. Hen you go to enter the frequent flyer program, before you can enter your membership number, the fields disappear! Not what I would expect from this airline.

    App extremely unstable and keeps hanging, keeps displaying error messages and always deletes previously entered information. App on iPad transfers to users to website and forces me to re log in and enter all previously entered info multiple times. This app should not have been launched in this condition. While in flight service is excellent, Customer Service via call center and apps and website has been appalling with no improvement in over close to a decade! Time for a leadership change!!

    Tried to book a flight 5 times, from different devices, the payment didn’t go through until the fifth time with the App saying something went wrong, the problem? I got charged 3 times in my credit card!!!

    Very poor app for booking flights, esp redemption bookings. Slow, buggy and poor UX. Unbelievably poor offering from an otherwise world class airline.

    I signed in and searched for a flight. It then took me to their website, at which point it asked me to search again. I was trying to use miles so I had to also sign in again, which for some reason didn’t work. I tried again and had a different problem. Done with this app.

    Non intuitive. Takes you to the website which is not optimized for handset. SQ Look at the Delta App to get ideas on a good airline app.

    Update : now even a simple function like search for flights by redeeming miles doesn’t work !! Just get a blank screen despite trying several times and the bar at the top doesn’t even start to fill up !! —— Constantly being directed to http websites while in app ! Manage booking button in app leads me to the SQ website where I am asked to login yet again ?? Yes, this upgrade has more functionality, but all the basic functions like managing booking, changing flights and seats all got a downgrade and are EVEN SLOWER than before.

    The app is getting better comparing to the utter crap it was 12 month ago. Still it rules too much on loading external web pages in embedded web browser. Also, what happens to the ability to add KrissFlyer card to Apple Wallet? Was the feature removed?
