  • Good in Theory, Poor in Execution
by evieamity on 2020-03-26 at 12:17 AM

As the owner of a Nikon CoolPix B500, I previously had success with this app on Android. It was very helpful to be able to take pictures and immediately have them sent to my phone. This app however does not work with this camera on iOS. After following every suggestion in the troubleshooting steps, this app does not allow your phone to connect to that specific camera, despite a patch not specifically saying this issue has resolved. If you are fortunate and your camera works, you’ve got a very nice app, with an outdated interface, that gets the job done. If you are like me, it seems you’re stuck going back to using the SD card to transfer photos. I would strongly suggest using this app if you’re the owner of a supported Nikon camera that isn’t bugged to not work with this app. 👍

  • Connection is very poor
    by jmary00 on 2020-03-24 at 7:25 PM

I have a B500 and im always having so much trouble with the cámara connecting to my iphone it’s ridiculous!!! It doesn’t work at all!

  • Still doesn’t work
by jonesy- on 2020-03-22 at 6:34 PM

Trying to pair with my Nikon coolpix and it still says unsuccessful everytime. Fix your app, is it that hard?

  • Dependable Assistant
by River side gem on 2020-03-22 at 4:36 PM

Nikon is known for being the leader in photography, but this app is my dependable assistant. I can always depend on my photos downloading on my device with no hesitation even if my camera is off. I love the simplicity.

  • Downloading process stinks
by i how have anger issues on 2020-03-22 at 1:09 AM

After many failed attempts I am writing this review. My camera was able to connect to the Bluetooth but going from Bluetooth to WiFi has only worked 2 times for me out of the 15+ times I’ve tried. I’ve watched countless YouTube videos etc and it’s still not great. The app really needs some work.

  • Perfect if you want to be left frustrated
    by m00nbaby on 2020-03-22 at 12:00 AM

Tried everything, doesn’t connect to my phone or iPad. So it’s useless for me.

  • Loved Using App
by KABuser on 2020-03-21 at 7:38 PM

My iPhone 6s with iOS 13.3.1 will not connect to my Nikon Coolpix B500 and it states I have downloaded the update for the app to fix the issue but it does not work. I absolutely loved using the app to load my pictures. I used to use it almost weekly. But now I cannot use it anymore and I’m sad because I have to do a million steps to get the pictures to my phone another way.

  • Update didn’t solve problems
    by narciss98 on 2020-03-20 at 9:48 AM

It’s not even pairing anymore to my camera

  • Overall SnapBridge is an effective tool.
by ddedrjjp pjssaatsphon on 2020-03-19 at 11:09 PM

Transferring images from IPad to printer, to printout a challenge. A learning Curve for Photoshopping. I need to study You Tube related videos!

  • Not worth time
    by wder15243 on 2020-03-18 at 1:12 PM

This app sometimes work, most of the time doesn’t. Sometimes on pad and sometimes on phone. Very aggravating when you think you might have any of the settings right, a patch messes it up. Sometimes you don’t even need the patch. What works to connect with phone doesn’t mean it works for the pad even if the steps are so few. Don’t waste you time.

  • Professional work ✅
by ericfling on 2020-03-17 at 10:15 PM

A really good, and reliable app. At events I often need photos from my camera for social media. With the help of this app I can select the photos, download a 2 MP version and airport it to my clients all done very quickly!

  • get it fixed!
by Jennaisawsome on 2020-03-16 at 1:07 AM

This app has not worked for a good while and it was supposed to be fixed and nothing has changed !!! Get the act together!!

  • Does not work
by nuttymarsh on 2020-03-16 at 12:12 AM

This app has been a nightmare since I’ve had my D3400. It was working for a while. Haven’t used in a few months and now I can’t connect or download anything. Horrible!!!!

  • Updates breaks pairing.
by Rickport chic on 2020-03-15 at 4:07 PM

Nikon update keep breaking the app. Test your updates Nikon. I can’t even connect to my D500 after updated. Even forget and repairing doesn’t work. Very frustrating.

  • Trash
by mdiffyksldfvbhtt on 2020-03-14 at 10:39 PM

The app is suuuuupeeer SLOW!!!!! Trash

  • Does not pair with IPhones!!!! Worthless app!
    by OpinionPiece1 on 2020-03-14 at 6:15 PM

Zero stars!!! I tried for over an hour after my husband and son tried over an hour to pair with two different iPhones! Nikon says they fixed the problem, but obviously they haven’t!!! We deleted the app and reinstalled several times, turned Bluetooth on and off, and followed their online user guide. I hope we can still return the camera. How hard is it to create a simple Bluetooth App in 2020?! Frustrating and ridiculous!

  • Absolutely awful
by Xenos Genesis on 2020-03-14 at 12:55 AM

It worked okay for about a week then completely stops working. Fix the app Nikon. Definitely would not recommend

  • Yeah doesn’t work
by brokensnap on 2020-03-13 at 5:03 AM

I have a Nikon D7500 and after one successful connection to my iPhone XR it refused to do it again. So it’s uninstalled and I’ll never bother with it again.

  • App has been terrible
    by Jermo262 on 2020-03-13 at 4:45 AM

This app has been terrible for over a year now it’s slow, sometimes freezes and quits, interface is terrible the community has complained about this app forever and no changes have been made to make it a good app, This app alone makes me wish I went with Canon instead of Nikon.

  • Doesn’t work
by Labtechie on 2020-03-12 at 4:47 PM

It used to work.... I have a Nikon b500- it used to connect- then it stopped- I was told I needed to update my camera- I did- it still doesn’t work!!! Ridiculous!!! Fix it already!! Why have a camera if you can’t download the pics!!

  • App is useless for the coolpix b600
    by b6a4 on 2020-03-10 at 3:05 AM

Bought a b600 camera to start entry lvl photography, thought the idea of having a handy app to upload photos to very appealing and was one of the biggest reasons for picking the camera. Its been almost 4 months since i got my camera and there yet to be an update fixing the issue with connection to this camera and the app.

  • Still won’t connect to phone
    by pabo8296 on 2020-03-09 at 11:25 PM

This app needs a lot of work. I can never seem to connect this any of my phones. I did a factory reset on the camera to make sure.

  • Nikon
    by Gcb51 on 2020-03-09 at 10:07 PM

Do you know that this app doesn’t work with the P1000? Can we go back to the WMU which worked wonderfully with the P9000.

  • Coronavirus Infected?
by chefphil on 2020-03-09 at 5:28 PM

But seriously, SnapBridge is not worth the trouble. Refuses to pair with D7500. Tried iPad Air2 and iPhone X, neither one will pair. Had worked nicely and easily in the past. No more. Camera software is current. App version is current. iOS 13.whatever is current (auto-updated) Has whatever has caused the Coolpix failure to pair in iOS13 now spread to the 7500? Was it my cruise ship photos? The wifi app WMU still works tho, but for my time and trouble the latest $10 SD>Lightning card reader is the simplest, most reliable method to transfers photos to my iStuff. And that goes for the D610 too, its wifi dongle (needed to use the WMU app) never worked all that well either. A dongle here, a dongle there, Dongles all the ding dang day!

  • More trouble than it’s worth
    by Jake_6700 on 2020-03-09 at 2:54 AM

What I wouldn’t give for either a wired remote or a simple, non-app remote like Nikon used to sell with cameras. It takes multiple times to get my D3500 to connect to a phone that is literally a few inches away... a phone it’s been connected to multiple times. Then, when by some miracle it does connect, you need to disconnect it to make changes to the camera settings. I’ve lost hope that this app will ever work efficiently. So can you please come up with something new that works consistently that is a bit more old-school and isn’t related to this app?

  • IOS 13

It really would be nice if this would work with iOS 13 already...

  • Fix the app!
    by lilicy99 on 2020-03-08 at 4:32 AM

They’ve been trying to fix the iOS 13 error forever. What’s taking so long? I can’t use my b500 with this app. Boo you, Nikon!

  • Connection Unavailable
by Kelliebugable on 2020-03-08 at 1:58 AM

7.MAR.2020 App 2.6.2 on iPhone 8 Plus 13.1.3 will not connect Bluetooth to Nikon Coolpix B500 camera. I bought the camera today. I downloaded the app once home. I am following prompts and reading instructions. I restarted the camera and the app; repeated the same steps... Have the same result: Connection Unavailable. I am unfamiliar with cameras- as far as all of the fancy tricks that professionals can get out of them (change a setting here, twist a knob there, focus less on this bit)... I chose mine after browsing for forty-five minutes. I compared specs and asked questions to employees and family who were more informed than I. It was not a random decision. My point is: I did not just spend $300.00 on a camera that seemed to suit my desires, for it to not connect to my phone. I do not know if it is the app at fault or the camera, but I will be returning the camera shortly if it does not connect. I bought it for all of the features, not ‘some’ of the features. I would rather put $300.00 toward the competition’s camera if that is the camera that will truly do all that is advertised. *Nikon Coolpix B500 camera seems to freeze on the ‘loading connection’ screen, when I tried to connect it to my phone for Bluetooth. To clear the screen, I had to power off the camera. Buttons did nothing to clear the screen. When powered on, again, the camera was fine. I told the next time I got a ‘failed connection’ and it froze again. 🙄

  • Key selling point unusable
by Patrick K93 on 2020-03-02 at 7:59 PM

I purchased the Nikon Coolpix B600 in September of 2019, solely for its “ease of access” features; one being that you can download photos directly to your phone. I am generally very understanding of quirks and technical issues when there is an operating system update, however, it’s been months without access to this flagship feature. If you run IOS 13, there is no way to download the photos without a computer. Nikon has been an industry leader for a long period of time, but this software resembles that of cheap Chinese knockoffs. In order to be able to view the pictures I’ve taken, I had to purchase a laptop to upload them to. So much for being budget friendly with the coolpix line. 🙅🏻‍♂️ One would believe that a billion dollar company could find a quick software remedy for the most mainstream phone on the market, especially if they use this feature as a selling point for their products. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Perhaps a Canon is in my future.
