I didn’t die. Admittedly, it’s a low bar, but I’m proud to say that I got over it. I didn’t even get lost enough to run out of battery. The smartphone holder is not large enough to accommodate my phone, which would have helped me avoid getting lost. ButC hey! I’m in Hamburg and I’m riding a scooter. Getting lost is OK.

Scooter hat nicht funktioniert und wurde trotzdem gecharged. Gibt keine Möglichkeit irgendwie in der ein ride zu kommentieren oder so - service per telefon auch net erreichbar aber wenn ich ehrlich bin auch kein bock für 1.30€ da anzurufen. Wieso kann man das net in der app machen? Voll der kack Lime ist viel nicer und hat auch bessere scooter

I would choose these bikes over any of the other ones that we have been riding in Copenhagen for the last three weeks, but there is constantly payment issues. I have no payment issues with the Lime, Bolt, Voi or donkey apps, but this one constantly tells me that my payment didn’t go through I change my payment method then it will go through and then the next time the payment won’t go through again it locked me out of the bikes. It’s not worth the effort even on Wi-Fi I have been trying to redo my payment method I’ve tried every different credit card I have that have been working fine with the other apps and they won’t take this one. So unfortunately the bikes that I would prefer to ride which are these I cannot ride because of the app issues. Even with the upgraded app.

Very well-built scooter very good brakes solid ride big tires. I felt in control the whole time. And as a bonus there is even a cradle to wirelessly charge your cell phone. What more can you ask for! Thanks TIER!🛴🆒🇵🇱

Save your legs and take a Tier… I am a new visitor to Budapest and needed to get to the train station. Google showed me where it was Tier got me there. It took a few minutes to log in and create an account. And my 70 year old legs were saved for a more enjoyable purpose. As they say on the interweb … just do it… I say you won’t regret it. Just drive safely to preserve the sanity of those around you.

It made me super angry. First it requires for you to enter a card even though you “start a free ride”. It blocked the only amount left in my card and that’s okey but the scooter wasn’t working and didn’t give me back the amount (yet!). I had to transfer money pay credit card etc. and as soon as I started riding another scooter, it slowed worst than walking! I was on the red zone where you don’t need to park I understand but nobody told me it would actually stop. I lost almost 30 minutes trying to figure out that it wasn’t right for me.

This one is my goto commute option in Frankfurt! Absolutely loved the phone charging option and the cradle for your phone while younavigate the alien land!

OMG, this app and service are terrible for London, I’ve used it 3 times to ride from my home to run various errands. It’s a nightmare machine with many disadvantages, but first the pros: 1. The wireless charger is great. Cons: 1. The bikes MUST be parked in very specific, not “full”, locations which are not easily shown until you have decided to stop your ride. Even when you do want to end, the app tells you to park in a specific location which is displayed on an unreadable tiny map. I spent 15 minutes pushing the bike around trying to find their specific parking spot. If the app would give you turn by turn directions to a parking place, it would be a godsend. 2. The bike won’t fully operate on many streets, you hit “go slow zones” or random streets where you get no power. Yesterday I was using google maps bike directions to go from Regent’s Park to Central London - this automatically routes you on streets with bike lanes. The fricking TIER bike constantly shifted into no power or slow speed zones. The app, which I wasn’t looking at because I needed the google map, has a notice that randomly pops up “you have entered a go slow zone”. Frustrating as heck. 3. The bikes are very top heavy and much more difficult to manoeuvre at low speeds around cars. Lime bikes are vastly easier, and faster, to ride. Really, just use the tube or the bus system or the leading competitor with the florescent orange bikes. Conclusion: if you are commuting between two locations you know well, you can probably work out where the acceptable parking zones are and the route that will avoid the “go slow” zones and maybe this will work for you. It won’t save you any money vs the competition, but maybe that wireless charger is a game-charger for you. But, if you think you can just grab and go with TIER bikes, think again. This is an inferior product compared to Lime which has negotiated better agreements with the local authorities. When you grab one of their bikes, you can generally ride it anywhere and park it anywhere, just as you would your own bike. TIER has zero competitive advantages vs other apps: it suffers from a poor contract with the city (each company negotiates separately with the local governments), heavy unwieldy bikes, and an app which fails to make anything simple. Imagine what a difference if the app could navigate you to the parking space nearest your destination, showing you the route before charging any money, and then give turn by turn navigation?! That would change everything! Don’t hold your breath or waste your money with these guys, in my opinion.
