    Do not do business with these people. They scam you with tickets … giving you a ticket you can’t use . All fraud .. then want to blame you for the information being incorrect with your ticket . Fraud !!

    My fiancé and I had booked a trip to CA for Memorial Day weekend where we were able to visit multiple National Parks. The day before check out at our first hotel I received a phone call from Trip.com informing us that our lodging for the remainder of the trip was canceled due to over booking. I had terrible cell reception at our first hotel and requested Trip.com to contact me multiple times. I was never contacted and had to get the concierge of our first hotel to find us a place to stay for the rest of our trip, which was difficult on a holiday weekend. When we were returning home, a connecting flight of ours was canceled due to weather. Trip.com did nothing to remediate the situation, and my fiancé and I had to book an additional flight and hotel for two more nights. Worst of all, when we finally got home I discovered I had been double charged for our first hotel stay. Two weeks of talking to Trip.com about my complaints was painful as I was frequently being placed on hold or passed along to another representative. Trip.com is manipulative, and I was consistently trying to be convinced there was no issue, despite me being canceled on and double charged. Although we had an amazing trip to CA I will never be using Trip.com again. I do not recommend this app, and I believe the company is a scam.

    The app won’t let me link to my email which has all my bookings rendering the app useless. I also cannot delete the app because it says I need to wait 7 days. Waste of time

    Stay away: my trip was booked entirely here and at some point I get an email from them that the airline has canceled my return flight, moving it to the day after (!). Not Trip’s fault directly, but not doable anymore for me: bummer, I try to cancel everything and get a refund, right? Well, since the first leg of the trip was “still on time”, they only offer a partial refund of $30 per passenger for that portion. A real insult: I will not use them ever again and I make sure that everyone knows about this.

    Rented a car from this site - from Tampa airport - they were not even on site at the airport -Green motion- and they were not open at the time we needed to return the car - we cancelled our reservation and they charged me full price anyway and no one speaks English

    Trip parent company suffered a bad reputations and law suits of using BigData to rip off their loyal customers, as cases of was reported that charge more to loyal customers. In Trip, the oversee version of XieCheng in MainLand China, I search a flight of the fare initially 377 USD, when I am booking they price keep go up and up from 377 to 389 to 405 and the fourth time I finally was forced to book as 419 USD!!! During the booking the app warn me the tickers was sold out four time within 3 minutes every time I check out. Worst, by the time I just finished booking, the price dramatically drop to 260 USD, disgusting company

    I downloaded and on my first search tried to find hotels in Augusta Maine. I could never get it to show me anything. Kept diverting to either Rome Italy or Georgia. After 15 minutes gave up and deleted the app.

    GUEST HOUSE BY RED LION in POULSBO WA 98370- Was treated beyond RUDLY, VERBAL ASSAULT BY MANAGER, front of the house female errors in several ways-never received a COMPLETE rundown on my BILLING with the exception of pet charges. I RATHER LIKE that small HOTEL - over the past 30 years I’ve stayed there a multiplicity of times. Beyond that, under new conglomerate RED LION ( which I adored, Oregon side of I-5 Interstate Bridge…$500.00 suite plus 2 adjoining small suites) However, in this case not an additional other thing was repaired or replaced, the collective THEY did nothing beyond PUT LIPSTICK ON A PIG. I’d love to have the Managerial position or Reception- to exemplify what QUALITY SERVICE really is. Beyond compensated by Room Rate refunded I feel STRONGLY RED LION Group should also compensate in cash for the suffering, HUMILIATION, DEGRADATION, Setting off my PTSD. HUGE SETBACK on road to recovery…. BY THE WAY the RECEPTIONIST has BARRED me from all ADA ROOMS for roughly 3 months no matter how far in advance I’ve tried to reserve. I cannot verify however, I believe receptionist is living in/occupying 2nd closest ADA to front desk.

    I’m trying to change my flight which is already taken weeks. I’m trying to stay longer in Asia but cannot get a answer therefore can make plans. I paid extra to be able to change my flight and I still can’t, I will never use Trip.com again, and this is not the first time.You have to put a request in to change the flight it takes them up to 72 hours to respond and so I have no idea the price difference it’s more expensive to me to buy a new one-way trip home.

    I guess I should’ve looked at the reviews before booking with this app. I am so unsatisfied. It was my own fault for not realizing they aren’t refundable tickets but how is that my cancellation fee is the same price as my ticket? No absolutely not possible. I will never book another ticket through these people again, because I was left in a terrible predicament.

    I bought a ticket and trip.com didn’t notify that the airline requires you to do online checkin otherwise they’ll fine you. I ended up paying 40 euro fine for a ticket that cost 60 euro round trip.

    Literally there’s always something whenever booking trips through this app.. from check in issues to baggage.. This last incident was the cherry on top. I booked two round trip flights from Barcelona to Rome, paying for baggage through the app. When we got to the counter we were told we had to pay for the checked bags AGAIN even though we’d already done so, and showed them on the app. I contacted Trip and was told I would be refunded in 7-10 business days. An entire month went by with no word/payment. I inquired again and now they’re saying I won’t be refunded at all. So I don’t recommend this app, and will not be using it anymore.

    I accidentally made the reservation for the wrong date. I realized it immediately and contacted the customer service. I asked for refund and I was denied the refund even though I contacted them a minute after making the reservation.

    Company does not solve problems! Very bad service! My flight was canceled ua 600 9am 05.28.2022 ! And they did not care about transfer me to another flight! A wasted a lot of time to figure it out!! Never use again

    If you want to book a room be charged by Trip.com and then again at the hotel. Be refunded by both and then have trip.com call and ask you to pay a again then us this absolute mess of a company. Not only that but the rate from the hotel was $300 less than Trip. Customer service is fast but they struggle to understand you and really this was frustrating and tiring experience. I would not use them again

    I booked a hotel with trip.com and I called to see if I could check in a day later because my niece tested positive for covid and I was staying at her house. We were all quarantined and the check in date was a day before the quarantine ended. When I contacted the hotel they said that travel.com must make the change not the hotel and they were willing to change the date, but were unable to do so because of the type of reservation. Trip.com got over $200 from me and I still had to pay for the night I needed. Going to write better business bureaus and contact my credit card company about the charge. Hopefully, this will help others to not book with this company.

    So far so good. We’ll see what happens when I book the airline and pay for the ticket! Update: Well, the ticket was issued by Jetstar. The only catch was that the price included a discount that you only received if you purchased a one-year membership - or cancel after 30 days. Now I will be getting on the plane and hopefully all in order!

    I made a booking via trip.com for 14 days of quarantine. It was a no cancellation booking. When the rules changed to 7 days. I was able to change my booking and get a refund through trip.com. I received confirmation within 24 hours. The agent was pleasant and it was a hassle-free process. Will definitely book through trip.com again.

    I will never use this app again. I had some problems at the hotel I booked on this site and they wouldn’t even get me some of my money back they said all they can do is give me only $15. And the rooms I booked was $600 some. I never leave bad reviews on stuff but this is not right. I learned my lesson though.

    So, I was looking for a flight from NY to San Francisco, was looking in all the apps, travel platforms, google, etc… finally I found 2 apps that gave me very good price, $276, CheapFlights and Airline Tickets, I noticed that the apps are using Trip.com for the booking, actually was putting me in the actual webpage to do the reservation, was a little complicated process and the page was offering me to download the app, so I did it thinking that would be easier to book it though it, I made the same search and to my surprise the same exact ticket was $460 in the app! I don’t know what this is about but this looks like a scam to me, so don’t trust it, try other apps and compare! Something is fishy here. update: after I contacted Untied Airlines for the ticket I bought through Trip.com on their receipt showed a different amount, different credit card, different contact number, different email and even different country, (it showed China, I am from USA!) for the reservation! my name was misspelled too! the UA receipt showed $210 but they charged me $276! I have two receipt for the same reservation with different amounts and information! Thanks God, the reservation is valid and the UA agent could change the information on it. There is def. some kind of a scam going on here! they charged me $66 more than the actual price of the ticket, there is no mention whatsoever that they are going to charge $65 commission on the reservation and that they are going to buy the ticket with an other credit card , not mine! WTH is going on here?!?

    Trip wouldn’t refund even the tax on a flight they screwed up in the first place. Y’all better not give me a standard “we’re sorry to hear you had a bad experience” response on here to make others think you’re genuinely doing due diligence. Y’all ran off with $850 of my money!! Will never, under no circumstance, book under this pathetic excuse for an agency. This is by far the most frustrating booking experience I’ve had, and I travel a ton. Nearly a thousand dollars lost. I’m so disappointed man

    My flight heading home was cancelled. Had to apply for a refund since they couldn’t put me on a different airline. It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard from trip.com . Some kind of message would be nice just to give me a heads up about what’s going on. Probably won’t use this company again. Also upset at the airline Frontier for canceling so early. That makes absolutely no sense, seems like they (Frontier) just wants to charge the customer and then give a voucher instead knowing we’ll never use it. And I won’t as I no longer trust them.

    Two days prior to my vacation ending I was notified on of my flights home was canceled and moved to a later time which made me miss my connection flight to my final destination, I was told there was nothing they could do after asking if I could get on a different airline, or keep the second portion of my flight and only cancel the one that was moved, I was told that was not an option and so I had to cancel and find a different way home, I had to call several times to get my second portion of my trip canceled and the cancellation submission was declined every time, I had to purchase a ticket from a different airline to get home.. I want my refund! and yet again on the day I was supposed to fly out I was sent an email saying my refund and cancel was not submitted. When I called I was told I had to show proof of my other airline purchase so they could request, for the 3rd time, to get my refund. This is the poorest form of customer service I have every encountered, I will never book through this site again! It not only ruined the last half of my vacation but cost me a second airline ticket and rental car to get home!
