    Horrible customer service... Was on hold with the company for over an hour and a half only to be disconnected and not called back. Horrible renters… I asked the owner to call me about his supposed VRBO in El Monte. Where is the bed linen? Where is the WIFI? How can we watch television in this place? Patio doors that cannot lock with blinds that are missing 3 pieces. Dirty furniture. A Mattress thrown on the floor is not a bed. Where is anything that you said would be here? I am very upset about the condition of this place. Where you even prepared for guests here. I will never ever again use VRBO because of the condition of your place. I am at the dollar store using their wifi because I can't get a good signal in your place that has no internet. WHERE IS HELP WHEN I NEED IT???????

    This was the perfect place for our family. Me and my wife had our own Master Suite downstairs And my son and his wife had their suite upstairs and our 2 grandkids had their oversized pull out couch in the upstairs loft.Well equipped, beautiful view. Everything was perfect for our 3 night stay. I highly recommend this wonderful 1500 sq ft condo.

    Property was not cleaned and the property owner had no idea when we could get in. Called VRBO after waiting for over an hour (after driving all day and having no idea when/if the property would be available) and they said we would get a refund in 5 to 10 days and to go ahead and find another place to stay. We called VRBO numerous times and were told to keep checking back. After a month they told us that they weren’t responsible for refunds and not to contact them anymore. Don’t expect any real help from VRBO.

    My family of 11 rented this house for 4 nights while attending a Family Reunion. This house was PERFECT! Plenty of room, close to our activities and we totally enjoyed our visit. The house was clean and full of games, sports equipment, lots for the kids to play with. Having my family together at the house was the best thing EVER! Would def rent again and recommend the property to anyone!

    This is first review I’ve written that was actually bad. I am a seasoned AirBnb/Vrbo renter and this was so horrible it will be much easier just to list all the things that where way below expectations. What’s crAzy is there is no way to talk to VrBo so I’ll just put this here. These people have no business on there platform. 1.) I called the VRBO owner and she stated that we are maxed out on people who could enter. She stated that we need to park any and all other cars at WALMART. Cool no big deal, This is what we DID! About an hr and half later our vehicles were towed. 2.) 5-6 small BLOOD STAINS on master bedroom pillow, disgusting. 3.) Blood on floor in bathroom downstairs upon arrival. 4.) Hot tub broken with jets and water colder than pool. 5.) Safety net surrounding pool busted and just hanging 6.) Bunk beds: pulled blanket away to tuck my son in and sheets where just crumpled up underneath. 7.) Shower: Luke warm at best water temperature. It did get hotter the second day for some reason. 8.) There wasn’t any soap dispenser to wash your hands or ANYTHING. This is standard anywhere else. 9.) Multiple tvs in bedrooms DO NOT WORK. 10.) No trash bags (standard) 11.) No coffee (standard) 12.) WI-FI password did not work. 13.) no toliet paper (standard) 14.) The Vrbo instructions state to start the load of dirty laundry but there was no laundry detergent to start the load before leaving. (Standard) 15.) Urine stains on every single bed. 16.) the grills outside where filthy and not cleaned which is subject to a $150 fine. (Thank god we opened and cleaned them ourselves) We made the very best of everything but I suggest you never stay at this house Or even in this community. My family and I have a never stayed in a place with these kind of problems and our experiences in the past have been great before this one. A lot of the things I listed where very very basic things that are standard in ANY Airbnb/vrbo place we’ve ever stayed. We are leaving this place MUCH CLEANER than when we arrived.

    I booked a house rental in Palmdale, Ca.To celebrate Father’s Day, I did not have much expectations about it, but what surprised! The house was so comfortable, spacious and the interior impeccable, not to mention the amenities like the pool table, tennis table, bbq. Grill, the sparkling pool and spa. My family and guest had a great time and I felt like a millionaire! Chris was very helpful with the app to operate the spa and was available “7/24’. I am looking toward booking this location again and again.

    If you send someone a link to a property and they have the app installed - it does not go to the property. They are better off without the app. If you navigate to a property in the app there is really no way to get a link to the property to easily share with someone via text. I can’t believe they don’t fix these basic abilities.

    I haven’t received confirmation! Host sent me message earlier that apt wasn’t available for my dates 8/29 to 9/5 so I booked another property! Now it seems available! How do I find out? This one is better for us as we have a 4 year old and are a bit afraid of balconies! But we do need to know whether it’s actually available!

    Seems I should have read the reviews before booking a house on Nantucket Island for a 4 day wedding event/first vacation since covid. Vrbo customer service is horrible. Kept trying to say they knew how I felt, my reply ‘O really, you are sleeping in your car tonight too cuz all rooms/hotels are booked. This is an island 25 miles out in the middle of the ocean. Too Much to write in all that went wrong with this company. Long story short save your self time/stress and money. Don’t use VRBO!!!

    House rented in June full of dusty filthy Christmas decor! Dishes & silverware grimy and sticky! Just unbelievable! Owner lacks civility and demonstrates aggression. Owner couldn’t handle my truthful complaints and canceled reservation without notice at 1 am on day 3 of a 9 day stay. AVOID THIS RENTAL. There was even an old ‘thank you’ card that had been left on counter for quite some time that she obviously ignored from a previous visitor! She is definitely one to beware of. First and last VRBO for us!

    I rented a place in Dallas because we had a track meet and I reserved it on a Tuesday for Friday and Saturday. Everything went well until the day we went to Texas. I received a email saying that the place I rented was already booked and the owner said he was out of the country so he didn’t know it was booked. It’s been a month now and I’ve tried everything I can to get a refund and I’ve still haven’t received it what so ever. I don’t know how you can take $900 from someone and not give it back. I talked to the host and he said he’ll give me a free night for the inconvenience but then he text right back hours later saying it was rented for another two days. So I was in Texas with nowhere to stay. Vrbo it’s to hard to contact you guys about a problem but it’s easy to get your money took. I don’t like being lied too and rob for money. And shouldn’t take over a month to get your refund back when the place wasn’t available in the first place. So I had to pay more money getting a hotel where we don’t like to stay bc of Covid. I hope you guys can get this fixed. And when they do I’ll leave another review letting everyone know how it went.

    The newer hospitality sites are helpful & I use them a fair amount. None compare to vrbo in reliability & thoroughness & professional , rapid response when needed which is rare. It’ll always be my #1 goto although I do use others occasionally .

    This is a sham. If you ever actually need help you’re only going to get to talk to a robot or eventually get to chat with a person who can’t really help you. Two weeks out from a wonderful vacation so I am ready for my deposit return. Owner will not give it to me claiming I did not pay a deposit, that is bc she wanted the entire vacation amount paid in full at booking. The rental agreement states if no damage I would get a return. There is $612 charged for a service fee and a separate $300 cleaning fee and $400 something for taxes. So $600 going to Verbo? They have a computer with automatic response set up as the main communication if you need help. For that amount of service fee they could at least have a human to talk to you. I will not be using vrbo again

    Host cancelled our stay for the reason of “no correspondence”…If they wanted to talk they could’ve reached out to me before prematurely cancelling. Now me and my entire group have nowhere to stay for our friend’s wedding. It’s one week before July 4 in a popular vacation area. Will never book through here ever again. There should be more than just a refund to make up for this.

    The host of the home we booked cancelled 2 days before my reservation. It had been booked for at least one month prior. The host blamed it on Vrbo, saying someone booked the place before us (which was confirmed to be a lie). Now I was ghosted by the VRBO staff. I was told I’d be upgraded for the inconvenience and will receive confirmation soon. We’ve arrived to our destination and We haven’t heard anything back. We now have to stay in a horrible, far away hotel as everything is booked. Ruined my trip, I will never use this app again and will be warning everyone I know of this disaster.

    They allowed me to be harassed for days by a property owner VRBO would not help me, despite my multiple pleas for help, to stop a property owner from using the app messaging to send me threatening and abusive comments for many days I’d left the rental property because of this owner’s terrible comments towards me and another guest. I tried over and over to seek help and have never once been supported. This owner was also able to pull my personal information from the app and now has my home address. This has been such a horrible experience.

    I had an issue with a property owner trying to add charges upon my arrival in Rome. Vrbo chat was not helpful (only generic advice) and the Vrbo telephone number was a toll-free number that doesn't work from Europe. Not acceptable. My domestic US experience has been very good - I cannot recommend it for international travel.

    First off they never mentioned in the description that we wouldn’t have a host and that our payments was being sent through another party . That’s not even the kicker thankfully we FINALLY found a number to call to cancel the trip and even still we have no clue if we are actually going to get our payment back being that we never talked to a host or anything and the lady from the company gave minimum information. Bad experience !!!

    Horrible, you are basically at the mercy of the property owners. We arrived to our rental with our son and the whole place was filled with weed and smoke. This rental was highly reviewed in the app. We were promised a refund in writing from Brbo representatives and the property owner and a few months later and after a lot of follow up we have gotten nothing back. We paid $500 for a rental we could not even stay at. Just know that is something goes wrong there is absolutely no customer service to help you. Just get a hotel or use Airbnb.

    Never use this criminal pedo friendly app!!!!! My daughter rented a condo in miami, the weirdo had ZeRO key for her!!!! I had to book a new room he said he would refund me, but guess what???? He lied and Vrbo said I have to deal with a man that’s not the owner of the property and they don’t know who he is….. but Vrbo DOES ZERO background checks!!!!!!!!!!! Never stay at a Vrbo

    My family and I really enjoyed our stay the house was clean and fully stocked for our needs . Very close beach access was a big plus and the fact that they have odds and end beach accessories was major plus thank you .

    Had a lot of trouble when we got to insurance. Seemed like site crashes or something. After a while it loaded trip we had confirmation on, and let me add insurance. All good now.

    Your app highjacks my phones text info!!! I cannot look at properties sent to me bye text without the app taking over and then the property disappears. This is an invasion of my privacy!!!!! Your app stinks! After my stay I will never use your system again. Can’t even talk to a supervisor about the issue without jumping through hoops. J Gardner

    We stayed in a very nice little cottage in Madeira Beach. It was even better than described! Extremely clean. 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Close to shopping/restaurants at Johns Pass. We’d definitely stay there again. Communication was fast, efficient and very detail oriented. Highly recommend.

    Love the app overall but recent changes have made it really difficult to share Rentals you are considering with your family group It used to be when you found 1 or 2 properties you felt were the best choices you could share those with friends or family directly from the app so they could provide input and look it over …… the link sent took the recipient directly to the property to look at it Accommodations and date availability Latest app update send them a link and picture of the property But when clicked takes you down some rabbit hole of properties not directly to one your looking at can’t even find it This needs to be fixed

    Tried to book a cabin on the Vrbo app went through all the steps and the letter for the owner and it wouldn’t let finish tried multiple times. had to call the number at the bottom and a nice gentleman told me to straight to the website to try and it worked with no problem. So need to try and get this resolved for future customers. Thanks sincerely

    I rented a Mountain View Condo for our vacation. The location was great and the view was beautiful. However, when we arrived, the carpets in the bed rooms were filthy. I contacted our host and complained. She was able to get someone in to clean them. The only problem was my husband didn’t feel comfortable with them just coming in unsupervised while we were out so he stayed there until they were done. The pool was cloudy and my niece developed a bad rash and a guest we met got an eye infection from the pool water.We found out the chlorinator wasn’t working and several other guest complained to management for days before the problem was fixed. We were there six nights and it wasn’t fixed until the day we left. It was fairly clean except under the couches. If management would put time and effort into maintaining the place better it could be a great place to stay.

    The host changed the pricing without my consent. VRBO said there’s nothing they can do about it and I need to take it up with the host. The host will not respond and VRBO is saying because I tried to cancel within 24 hours I am not entitled to a refund. This is totally illegal and I am going to torch the host and Vrbo on every social media website I can in addition to filing a complaint with the secretary of state of Arizona, the federal trade commission and filing fraud charges with my credit card. Before you book on VRBO check to see if the property you are trying to stay at is listed for hundreds lest on their own website. It’s totally illegal to charge more than your own advertised price by numerous federal and state laws anywhere in America.

    Another person doing a Vrbo search can share their search property with me. Without fail, the link opens up the generic home screen on the Vrbo app, refusing to actually show me what was shared. Really Vrbo? Poor execution…
